So I was going to share my experience at Fall Hollow campground. I'm a self-employed contractor at the campground for 3 months traveling. When I arrived there was snow on the ground and they even helped me set up my RV and get into the slot as I didn't have a camera. The owner was extremely nice checked on me several times. The park is clean even the residents were friendly. Bathhouse was good and functional. Definitely recommend this part for anybody staying in the area.

Good gravel interior roads and sites. We had full hookups $55 a night, but understand they have water/electric and tent sites also. Nice rustic park on beautiful creek. Bathrooms were clean but could use a little work. Our site was fairly level only requiring a couple of blocks. Park is only a few hundred yards off the Parkway easy in and out. WiFi worked well streaming no issues. Seems to be a Lot of long term renters here but it was quite no noise or problems.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's conveniently located off the Natchez Trace, but that's the only benefit. Mona, the manager, was very friendly, but she was the only bright spot. The camp itself wasn't even remotely level. We paid for full hookups, but there wasn't a water hookup that rendered the black tank useless. They must've just mowed thick long grass because clippings were everywhere, which inevitably covered the camper floor and our dog (no water to clean him off). I'm not sure whether the bathhouse was clean or not. We didn't stay long enough to find out.

Enjoyed camping here. Camp hosts were super nice. I really like the fact that it is right beside the Natchez Trace Parkway.I camped with dual sport motorcycle friends and rode the TN Dirt Devil.

We discovered this campground a few years ago. We loved the location of beach 1 and the access to the water! We have stayed at beach 1 several times at this point. The last two times the grass/weeds has been very overgrown. The access to the water has been more difficult and it's just not as comfortable as it used to be. We also decided to do a day trip to beach 1 since we love how the water is right there. When I initially called to reserve a month ago, the price was $5 per person for a day pass. I called two days prior to us arriving to confirm and they increased the price to $10 per person! We paid $80 to be there for 5 hours. That was a bit extreme especially with the lack of maintenance. I've always recommended this spot, but pretty disappointed the last two visits.

My husband had written a review about a week ago about the quality of the water not being the best. His name is Eugene. He left this in error. We found out two days later that there had been a problem with the water and it had been fixed. We just hadn't realized it.Again, this was in error. Our opinion is and will always be that we really love it here. We have some great neighbors and it is very quiet. We've been here since February and I told my husband that I would like to stay as long as possible.

This was a good solid campground. There are some long term camping spots here but the spots for folks travelling through are very level and many of them have good shade. We were here for a baseball tournament so we did not get to do normal camping but... everything worked great. The site caretakers were very nice and accommodating. Do yourself a favor and pull in and enjoy this campground if you are in the area. i can see tent camping here also if you are on the Trace. There is good access to the river. We had no trouble with our 38 foot class A here.

Been here twice now, both great experiences. The folks who own it are very nice and accommodating. We stay in the 'primitive' portion that's in the woods for tent camping. There are varying sized sites, our favorites being those along the river. Having bathrooms and showers within a 5 minute walk of the site is a great addition. I much prefer this to large campgrounds as it's more secluded and a more genuine nature experience. Will continue to be a loyal customer.

We had a nice tent spot. The rest rooms were individual rooms with shower & changing space and were very clean and tidy. WiFi was strong enough at our spot for me to have a video conference. Kids played nicely together and all was quiet by 9. All was just what we needed for the night.

Stay away go somewhere else terrible management, drove 2 hours for a long stay for work. paid rent and thought I was good to go no where on my receipt or verbal told about this i have proof of text and receipt. The second day they demanded my debt card number and code . One women (manger) said it was for them to charge u on holidays to charge your rent without your permission! The owner said it was for charging u if u damaged property .what ever he wanted to charge u for damage when u leave . Several campers left because if this situation.

We reserved a site for one night while driving the Natchez Parkway. We picked this place because it was right off the Parkway. When we arrived, there was no office open and nobody answered the phone. We found our site and another camper was on it and hooked up. The area was a grass field with electric and water. It was obvious that most sites were occupied by permanent residents. As we were leaving, a woman approached us and offered to move our site. The site that she offered to us was behind a permanent resident with goats. We have two small dogs, so there is no way we could have spent any time outside. As we were leaving, we told the lady that there is no way we were staying there and asked for a refund. We were told that their policy was to not refund money. I said that my policy was to not pay for anything that I did not get. We disputed the charge, but did not get our money back. This campground was the most expensive one we reserved for this trip, nearly double what we paid anywhere else. DO NOT STAY HERE! You will be VERY disappointed. There is no way I could have slept based on the permanent residents that were strolling around. I wish I d read these reviews BEFORE I booked. According to numerous responses from the owners, their fallback defense is that they have no record of the reviewer staying there. I will tell you in advance that there is no mistake that I m reviewing the right campground.

I stayed in one of the hotel-style rooms in the restaurant building. The whole setup is pretty primitive. Upon arrival, I found the door locked and had to hunt down the campground manager which is not simple. I was charged $14.85 for a "platform fee" which is not disclosed on the website...so a surprise charge. The website says "restaurant is closed for dinner service" which implies it could be open for say breakfast for lunch. I understand the restaurant has been closed closed since 2018. The breakfast the next morning was made by the staff person using a hotplate. I was the only person is a very large building (mostly restaurant area) and the room is only accessed through this large area is in a mothball-state.The road to Holenwald (highway 412) is pretty unsafe for biking. I had to beg to get a ride to Walmart to get dinner. I generously paid $40 for the lift to town but was happy to avoid the safety risk. So, in summary I suggest that bikers double-down to avoid this one........Update.....I expected a defensive comment by the owner.....it is a pattern shown in other reviews. Some clarifications-The Fall Hollow www site links directly into the Rover Pass www which handles the reservation. A simple disclosure is all that is needed. If you drive the reservation link you should disclose.Primitive.....The restaurant building is very much in a mothball-state. I needed to access the rooms through a side door to a dimly light kitchen and then through a dimly light dinning room. The front door is double locked. Overall the building is a cluttered and dingy. The hot plate breakfast is primitive.Ride to town..... I had to beg the camp manager for a ride. She finally gave in. I rode in a truck that was indescribable......400k miles on a really old truck, very dirty, hole in the floor, cluttered beyond imagination....it ran but that's all you can say about it.As an owner, you were no where insight during my stay. You never offered a ride or took the effort to check on me. I suggest you give a vehicle to the camp manager for transporting guests. It would be a simple thing to do.I stayed 7 nights on the Trace and the experience at Fall Hollow is the least accommodating of all ....by a lot. The cost of the Fall Hollow stay was comparable to the 6 others, if not more expensive, with the cost of the "ride" to town. It delivered the least value of all my stays.I hope you take my comments in a more constructive way to improve your operation.

I stayed one night on Saturday, September 9th 2017 after arriving there on my bicycle during a three day tour. All the staff was very friendly and made me feel right at home. Dinner on Saturday night and Sunday's breakfast was very good. I really enjoyed the sticky ribs after a recommendation from the friendly campground host. This was a nice quiet spot just off the Natchez Trace. The only thing I would change would be to have the bright light in the middle of the campground extinguished. That would have made star-gazing much easier, but there is probably some kind of rule/law that says they have to run one. I will definitely be back again the next time my bicycle touring route takes me through there.

This was the most beautiful campground we have stayed to date. We camp once a week about and didn't want to leave yesterday morning and can't wait to go back. Noel the owner is very nice and helpful. Shower house was super nice and clean. Noel and Sheri have taken a lot of heart and pride in making this place the amazing place it is. See you guys soon again.P.s. my husband made some little steps to get down to the creek easier at Bigfoot. We will be back for sure kenny already talking about he can't wait to go camping again.

This place is amazing in the Fall. My family just completed a two day camping stay and have nothing but great things to say about the staff and amenities. To start with, you can RV camp or tent camp. It looks like people use the RV camps as permanent housing, which is fine, but should provide an idea of what their facilities are like. They have single occupant restrooms complete with showers. Upon arrival, check-in is required but isn't easy to find so be sure to get check-in instructions by phone.. As for the tent camping, they have "beach" sites down by the creek which was where my family camped. We built a fire and walked the creek to fish. Since its private property no license was needed which was great. We had the wrong tackle but still had fun using hotdogs as bait. I'm definitely going there again and highly recommend this camp site. As for cost, over night tent camping is $10 per person and a day pass (until 8pm) is $5 per person. Also, reservations are usually needed so be sure to call and confirm availability.

Stayed several nights in a "hotel style room" with 2 adults and one child. Noel and Sheri were welcoming and more than accommodating to ensure we had all we needed for a great stay! They loaned us tubes to float in the river, recommended wineries and trails to check out, and made us tasty breakfasts. The trails were rather close so we were able to visit several in the same day. We loved exploring the waterfalls and coming back to the restaurant in the evening for great food (smoked meatloaf- YUM). We were stuffed in the best way for breakfast and dinner which fueled our nature adventures! The camp host, Tony is never far from view and will help campers with anything they need. He is also very friendly and can be seen keeping the grounds in order. We didn't camp, but did see the sites which looked open and clear of debris. Same goes for the creek. There were clear paths down to the water and my son enjoyed swimming and looking for "cool rocks".

Was a great place. Except a camper that stays there all the time complaining about a kitten over and over while the campers who stay there, have dogs running wild there. ??? Really ? But other than that Fall Hallow was a great place to camp. We had a double size lot. Number 12. Excellent. And the beaches they talk about is a good size creak to cool off in . Kids enjoyed it alot !!

Friendly and helpful staff. Convient location just off the Natchez Trace. Bath houses and bathrooms are satisfactory, but if camp is full expect to wait during morning and evening hours to use shower or bathroom. Restaurant serves up good standard breakfast and dinner food. I appreciate the camp hosting the Southern Discovery Dual Sport Motorcycle Rally. I have stayed here twice and likely to be back in the future.

Had paid reservations for three nights in late August 2020. Upon arrival you are directed to call a number for assistance. No one answered. An hour later it was determined that both the Owner and Host were away. We were guided to our site by someone that apparently lived there full-time. When reservations were made, we specifically asked for a shady site. This site had no shade, not to mention that it required an extremely long sewer hose. We attempted to purchase extra hose in town to no avail. We ended up staying at another park. We were never offered any sort of refund or apology. This place consists of mostly full-time folks. We do not recommend.

We stayed at the campground last year and enjoyed it so much we decided to become fulltime residents. It s a great place to stay. Noel and Sheri are wonderful owners who take pride in there business. They go out of their way to accommodate all visitors. The camp host Tony is wonderful, He goes out of his way to to make sure your stay is great. We get many bicyclists who are traveling through on the Natchez Trace and stay here. Noel or Tony will take them into town to fill up on supplies and food if they don t have a vehicle. The monthly campers here are all wonderful too. We love having Big Swan creek right in our back yard. We have been here almost 9 months now and are so happy we chose Fall Hollow as our home.

This place is wonderful! We stayed at Beach 2. It was clean, private, and had a lot of room. The creek was crystal clear! We enjoyed catching fish and relaxing in the water. We have stayed at many different campgrounds around many Middle Tennessee, but this one really im pressed us the most. Plus the owners were very nice and offered great suggestions of tubing around the area. We are already planning our next trip. If you are wondering about checking this place out, GO FOR IT! I promise you will be thankful you did.

By no means a resort. Had to pull weeds out to hook up the water. Although the site was wide, there wasn't really a place to sit outside due to the mud. Would be nice to have a patio considering it's called a "resort." There was a picnic table next to the sewer hook-up. Maybe it had been moved to mow?? Also had to move a large rock so we could pull our motorhome into the site. Definitely a once and done. Owners are very nice. No TV, but WiFi is excellent. Water pressure at our site was also excellent. Appears there are many "seasonal/full-time" guests here. The creek with all the wildflowers is beautiful. Just wish the site was better.

My husband and I came in from Memphis to stay at the bed and breakfast for a weekend. The grounds are gorgeous. The owners live downstairs and the bed and breakfast is upstairs. We were the only ones booked that weekend, so we had the whole upstairs to ourselves. There s a large deck that s perfect for having a drink and taking in the view. There are two hummingbird feeders hung up, and we could have watched the beautiful creatures flit about for hours.Noel made us biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and bacon the first morning. We asked if we could have the blueberry pancakes we d read about in other reviews the next day. He happily whipped us up some sausage and pancakes with fresh blueberries from a nearby blueberry farm the second morning.Sheri and Noel were excellent hosts, and offered many helpful suggestions that made our trips to the area's wineries, distilleries and the Natchez Trace Parkway more enjoyable. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely stay there.

I would not exactly call this a resort. Lousy WiFi. Lousy campsite. Ok for an overnight if you must. Sure not a destination..

This was our third time staying there! Very disappointed this time around. The only available site for short term camping is not a full hook up site. All the full hook up sites we re taken by long term people. This is now a trailer park, not a campground. Because we didn t have full hook ups, we had to use the clean out by the bath house. The problem here is that the clean out is on the wrong side!! I don t know of any campers with a clean out on the right side. Also, don t you think this hole in the middle of our site is dangerous??? We put a basketball in it so that we didn t trip or our dog didn t drink the nasty water.Hopefully one day they ll turn it around because we used to enjoy this place!

Stayed at Fall Hollow for the TN Dual Sport Adventure ride this October. We tent/hammock camped down by the river. After a hot day it was great to sit in the cool stream. There's also nice sized fish in the stream. The restaurant was open and breakfast and dinner were great. Very friendly and helpful folks running the place. I will stay here again. Thanks.

Perfectly fine place to camp. Bathrooms aren't the cleanest but not terrible. Well stocked, hot showers, good water pressure. Well placed hook for your towel. Big pavilion. Waterside trails are nice

Noel and Sherri are fabulous. Two of us bikers arrived in the early evening on a Monday when their restaurant was closed and they usually use this day to get caught up. They opened the restaurant and Sherri cooked us up some chicken sandwiches and a veggie meal for some fellow bikers who rolled in right after us. We never felt hurried or unwelcome. We had our bikes locked up in the restaurant and our rooms were in the same building- very clean and comfortable. Noel got up early the next morning and cooked us breakfast- awesome!! Two big thumbs up!
