Great service, great prices. I would recommend this place to anyone. They have fixed several issues with our vehicle and they did a good job each time. They really care about getting the job done right. They are fast, honest, and trustworthy. Definitely 5 stars.

The Best! Honest, helpful, most Straight forward Auto repair business there is in Chattanooga. Don't let the outside deter you! This is by far the best Auto repair service I have ever used. Prices are right! Not inflated! Service is fast, everyone involved is professional, and the system they use just works. Cars will be covering the property and yet they get you in when they say, they get the work done by their deadline, and all while doing a concise and thorough jobCannot possibly recommended more

Gene is very prompt and knowledgeable about auto mechanics. He was able to fix my power steering leak within 24 hours of having it towed there. His work is very affordable & he is an honest guy. I will always do business here from now on. Thank you, Gene!

The owner comes across as straight forward and honest. They don't try and offer things not needed. To me, this is a reliable place that won't try and take advantage of you, especially if you're a woman or know nothing about cars. I've gone there multiple times and walked away more than satisfied with the assessment and price quoted. It's the only place I want to take my car when I have an issue.

Gene is the most honest mechanic I've met. Our vehicle's fuel pump died while visiting our daughter and son-in-law 2 hours from our home. I tested the fuel pump and it was bad. I called a well known mechanic shop in Chattanooga that my son-in-law used once and they quoted me almost $1200 to fix it. Absolute ABSURD price!!! I have been a mechanic for over 35 years and have always been honest in my business. I know what it should cost to repair this issue. I called Middle Valley and Gene gave me a quote of $320 + tax, exactly what the book rate is. He did the job right, got it done the same day it was towed in, and charged what he quoted. My daughter, son-in-law, and all their family, friends, and colleagues now have an honest mechanic they can rely on. I see why Gene has been in business over 35 years. I will continue to recommend him for anyone in or near Chattanooga, and I will continue to tell people who not to go to as well.Service: Electrical

My wife and I recently started taking our cars here and it s been a great experience. Unlike other places, they don t make up things to try and get you to pay more. My car lost all oil pressure while on the road this weekend, Gene was able to get my car looked at, the part ordered, and repaired in just over 1 day. Very honest prices, fixed only what was broke and no more than that. Very friendly and the best customer service! Me and my Honda Element appreciate you!

I've never written a review on anything in my life so this is a first. I've got an old '98 F150 that my grandfather gave me when I turned 16. That truck has seen better days, nonetheless, but I've taken it to various places, in various states (Tennessee, Georgia, and Hawaii) for various things and I've only come across two genuinely good and honest mechanics. The first was Tim in Hawaii who saved me about $5000 for a would-be head gasket replacement. The second is Middle Valley Auto Repair. I first took my truck in because my radiator was leaking. They had it fixed up the next day and she's run really well for several months. The second issue I've had was my heater core went out 3 years ago or so. I've also had issues with my truck shuddering when shifting gears. One mechanic was going to charge me $1000 for the heater core and starting at $3500 for a new transmission. MVAR only cost me less than $600 to fix both and I didn't have to replace the transmission. If you are looking for an honest shop, this is the place to go. The toughest part is getting your vehicle in here. But when you do, it's well worth it.

Took my mother-in-law's 15 yo Ford Taurus to Gene at Middle Valley Auto Repair and he did an amazing job. He was very honest and prices were fair. The car is running great again and she is happy. Thanks Gene!

Had a metal noise coming from the front strut on my Mazda. Gene and his crew stopped what they were working on to take a quick look, used various methods to check each component and ultimately found the root cause in the strut mount bolts. Tightened both mounts to be safe and sent me on my way. Couldn't be happier and really appreciate them helping me out so quickly.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Gene and his guys are the best. No questions asked. If they tell you it s a price, don t complain. Cause he s more honest and reasonable than anyone else I can think of. Been going here for years and will continue.

My husband took his 4x4 truck in recently that we had just bought (used) and these guys did an outstanding job. Not only did they fix what evidently no one else could, but went above and beyond while still leaving us with grocery money, after Firestone took us for $1k, then stated they weren't equipped to address the issue there. So a grand later, brakes were put on backwards, and instead of 1 leak now we had 2. These guys didn't even charge to fix the brake issue. So honest and professional, not pushy, and highly recommend. Both our families have used them for years and we recommend everyone else to also

I went to Middle Valley Automotive when I had problems replacing a part inside the transmission (internal slave cylinder). I found them to be extremely professional, and did a great job. Even found out that the master cylinder (lifetime warranty item) wasn't holding pressure. They went to O'reilley's and exchanged the master cylinder and only added $40.00 for a total barely over $200. Having the leak fixed was worth every penny. The truck didn't leak any more. The clutch shifted smoothly with no binding. I tell everyone I know to go to them for any repairs. If there is something I can't do myself, I will not hesitate to take it down to them. I find them to be honest, and more importantly fair. If they are busy try to be patient, it is worth it. They are great people.

I had problems with my van and did a YouTube diagnosis. Called around for pricing on the repair I thought was needed. Middle Valley Automotive was much better than anyone on pricing. Went down, met the guys, liked them because they are true mechanics. So I took the vehicle in. They had it fixed way ahead of my schedule and turns out it was a simple diagnosis fix instead of the major project I expected. They charged me a very reasonable fee for the repair and were just great to deal with. I have finally met a mechanic shop I can trust and will cease most of my DIY repair tendencies. I highly recommend these folks - they are straight shooters.

These guys have been a life saver for me. I live 5 hours away but my wife s family lives in Middle Valley. This was our second time visiting Middle Valley Auto Repair. The first time our A/C went out in June. Today, when we were leaving to head back home for Christmas our car started smoking when we cranked it and we called them. They went above and beyond. Gene was so kind and sent a couple of guys to come to us to check it out and they got the vehicle in the shop and stayed over their scheduled closing time on Christmas Eve to get the alternator replaced! They were able to get us on the road which saved our Christmas morning plans with my family and we are so grateful for their dedication and hard workServices: General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair

Took Ford F 150 to Gene today and they checked it out and 3 coil packs wasn't plugged in good and they fixed it and truck runs great

This is a great place. Car was tore up for 4 months. Thought the oil seel needed to be replaced and be expensive. After all the stress decide to try this place. Called and they fit me in. Long story short. Dropped car off at 7am and they called at 930am done and only 30 bucks. So good and honest. Will. Be taking my other car there soon.
