I had taken my vehicles to them since they opened and was very happy with the work/price. I called today and was informed they are only doing wholesale and no longer service general public....after years of patronage.

Went in for a misfire fix, after returning to the shop not once, not twice but three times. I told them I would need a refund, which I think is perfectly reasonable given the amount of times to fix the vehicle and that I had spent 2000$. Which the owner agreed to, then I went in to the lobby to talk about the situation and was cursed at. They also welded a nut to my muffler, when the part they were given did not fit which caused more issues. I ve recommended them for years but certainly will not be back.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I had gone to the Lexus dealer who said I needed a new alternator for almost $600 installed. Then called Freedom who quoted to do the work for $315. But when they pulled it, they said it was fine and just needed some belts adjusted. It's so refreshing to work with competent honest people.

Andy and his employees have done excellent work for me, and my wife Meredith. We have taken both of our cars there for repairs and they were fast and affordable every time. Quick service and fair pricing! 5 stars.

These guys are great. Customer service couldn't have been better. They diagnosed my check engine light, quoted a price, made the repairs on a 17 year old car and got me back on the road in a day and a half( the repairs were significant) and the final bill came in under their estimate! They will get all of my business and I would recommend them to anyone.

Three thumbs up! Within the last 2 months Andy and crew worked on all 3 of my vehicles. I liked that I didn't have to call to get updated or see when work was completed. Andy stayed in constant communication. This is a rare luxury. I've got Freedom Auto on speed-dial.

Seriously!!! I don't know where to begin...just moved to Chattanooga and needing to find everything from dentist, doctor, hairdresser and a TRUSTWORTHY, RELIABLE, KIND, KNOWLEDGEABLE, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, ETHICAL auto-service! Andy did a comprehensive maintenance on our twelve-year old Toyota Sienna after driving it across the country. The van runs beautifully after his service, work was done in a timely manner. Andy is very conscientious about his work and I feel like we can completely trust his work. Will definitely use Freedom Auto Repair again.

Timely communication and specialized knowledge concerning Subaru vehicles worked in my favor. I needed a head gasket replaced, and transmission service. Work was done quickly and thoroughly. I was completely happy with my experience!

Amazing service! They went above and beyond to fix my vehicle. Honestly, it was a pretty major repair that most shops wouldn't touch because of the time required. These guys knocked it out and even ran it through emissions to ensure it would pass.

Why pay 1000$ at pep boys when you can go here, spend 300$, and get better service! That's what happened to me anyway. Seriously if you need a mechanic and your thinking about just going to pep boys... Stop... Roll your car across the street and give it to the best mechanic in Chattanooga.

I went to get my air checked cause it was not working they didn't fix it cause I didn't want them to but would have let them. They were amazing could sit and talk to them all day and will be back if need any work done on my car.
