I would take my car and/or equipment to this group any day. Hands down the best mechanics I've seen ever. I say that having grown up on a farm with three brothers. Summer worked me in and they diagnosed it within minutes. Fixed it quickly and I was on my way. My car just crossed 200K miles and runs great. I'm confident it will run another 100K if not more with their help. Many thanks to this well run establishment. So great to know there are still good community run businesses!!!

They are hands down the best and most honest repair place I've been to in at least six months. Our whole family of 5 have cars and so repair shops are necessary more often than we'd like, I trust these folks to be good to me though! Every time!

My daughter s car broke down on the highway and my brother told me to have it towed to Turpin Garage. He told me that to keep from getting ripped off and the issue fixed correctly this is where I need to tow my car. I can not tell you how pleased I was with the quality of the work but also the high level of customer service I received. I was kept informed of the steps throughout process and received a good price on parts and labor. I will be making another trip to East Tennessee and will be dropping my car off for service maintenance. Turpin has earned and will continue to get my business for all of my vehicles. I have no problem driving in from Nashville to Harriman for an ethical mechanic. Work! Excellent Service!Service: Auto maintenance

When my car broke down 50 miles from home, I was nervous about where it was going to be towed to. Thankfully for me it ended up at Turpin Auto. I couldn't be more impressed with their service and communication. Just wonderful people to work with.

I own my own auto repair shop but I'll be the first in line to say turpins is one of the best in town. all the staff is top shelf and you will not find one better than Donnie Turpin. when I have problems as a shop I call turpins and they are always very eager to help . highly recommended for your auto needs.

Turpin s auto is amazing! We broke down passing through and Donny checked my truck out for no charge, ordered parts and fixed as soon as he could. He came and picked up my truck, used his own jack to hold up my trailer until he could returned my truck. Summer, the receptionist is amazing too, and called to check on us several times while Donny worked on our vehicle. I m a single mom with a disabled kiddo in tow and the worst thing imaginable was breaking down in a place I was terrified I would get ripped off on the repairs. Honest hard working and all around good people. Excited to be going home! Thanks guys! I d give more stars if I could.

I would absolutely not recommend this shop, I took my Jeep there because it was overheating and was idling rough. They looked at it and told me it needed a new thermostat, new coils, and water pump. After the work was done I come to pick up my car and they tell me the work they did didn t fix the problem because the engine has a bent rod which was what was causing it to run rough, so I paid $350 for all that work and my car was running the exact same as when I took it to there shop. I feel like I got completely ripped off. Never got a call from them either to even let me know what they found.

I have took my car there many times. They do great work. Sometimes it takes a little time for them to get finished but they make sure it's done right. This is the only garage I trust with my car. Other garages I've been to are all about money but not Turpins. They have reasonable prices. They are very caring people. Keep up the great work guys.

The owner Donnie is extremely knowledgeable on all makes of vehicles. The work here you can trust will be done right, maybe a little slow but quality work. If your having vehicle problems then stop by. They are close to the interstate, and easy to find

They were honest the guy what's going to do my front end alignment seen that I needed a bunch of work done before he could line my truck up. And didn't Hard Sell me for them to do it. Tell me to get it done replace the front tires and come back and he'd be happy to line my truck...,"!!???!!"

I hardly ever write reviews, but had to get the word out on this wonderful, caring business. We broke down late on a Friday afternoon. I thought I would be stuck at least overnight if not through the weekend waiting for a repair. Turpin's stayed open late and the office manager was extremely reassuring , letting me know, once they had determined the problem, that they would have us back on the road that evening. Plus the total bill was more than reasonable. I can't praise these guys enough! Thank you for treating a stranger like family and going out of your way for me and my daughter!

Goodness... while on my way home from Gatlinburg, my vehicle broke down on Interstate 40. I rode the shoulder to the next exit and called State Farm.They had someone tow my vehicle to a shop of my choice within a 15-mile radius.I chose Turpin Auto because it seemed like it was closest to home.You see, I was at 68 miles from home.My husband came and picked me up and got me home safe.We received notification later that my vehicle had been delivered and I would need to call the shop the next day.Before I made the call this morning, I checked to see if they had Facebook and they do. So I checked them out on Facebook and was very pleased.I called and spoke with Summer, in the office after 9 a.m. and she was so kind.She felt really bad that I had broken down and said they would let me know what they could do.Within a couple hours they called and let me know my vehicle was ready and it was exactly what I told them I thought it was!Kevin took off work early so we could go get it, and it drove excellent all the way home! Thank you Turpin Auto for being a lifesaver, for being a true business that cares!One of the main points I really want to stress is how fair on price they were, actually, I was MORE than impressed, thank you so much!

My girlfriend and I broke down during a road trip in Harrimon, Tennesse and this was the closest auto repair shop we could find. The guys at turpins auto were so helpful! They gave us a very reasonable rate for our repairs. Although we decided to tow our vehicle to our final destination to save time, they even helped us push our van on to the tow dolly for no charge. Would highly recommend this business for anyone needing auto repairs.

I had car trouble while driving west on I40 ... still about 100 miles from home. I pulled off the interstate drove down the main road toward Harriman and saw Turpin's ... still open at 4:45 PM. They could have easily turned me away.However, the very nice woman running the office, upon hearing my dilemma, contacted one of the men in the garage who was cleaning up and fixin' to leave. He came to my rescue and did the needed repair quickly and kindly.I told Jesus when I got back in the car, "thank you for these kind people; they must be some of your people! They treated me like I know you would have."Dave

Being out of town, and on our way to Nashville, our SUV overheated. We dont know any mechanic in the area when the towing company highly recommnended Turpin Auto. With no choices of what to do truck was dropped off at the shop. These guys are a huge blessing and a relief. They immediately figured it was a thermostat and knowing we are from out of town and feeling like drifters, got on it and replaced the broken thermostat.Thank you Sommer, very cordial lady who made us feel like we are next door neighbors.Kudos to Young s Towing, esp the guy driver of the tow truck, dropped us off in the hotel first then dropped off the truck at Turbin Car shop.Southern Hospitality speaks well in this state.To all those motorists who checked on us while we were stranded at Big Lots.Ya ll have a big heart.Thank you! Can t say it enough

When you want a true professional there is no alternative in the area. They stay busy so be patient, but you'll be guaranteed the best work possible. They really know their stuff about vehicles.
