Greeneville tire & performance is my go to when it comes to repairs. Matt and his team always do a great job when working on my car. I had an emergency repair and had to keep my vehicle there overnight, but didn t have a ride home so his wife drove us home. When I desperately needed new brake pads/rotors and they were booked 4 weeks out, Matt accommodated for me and was able to squeeze me in and get my repairs done the same day! They provide excellent service at a timely manner at VERY affordable prices. I will not go anywhere else

This place gives the best service I ve seen in years! People are honest and super helpful. We ll be coming back for any future needs our truck has! We d give 10 stars if we could. They told us when we needed new tires and also told us we did not need break pads yet. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy!

Greeneville Tire and Performance is hands down the best mechanic shop I have ever visited! Matt and his guys are extremely kind, straight forward, and genuinely want to help. I have heard nothing but great things from everybody who has had their vehicle(s) serviced here, new to the area or longterm local, and I can now vouch for that myself. If you need any diagnoses or work done to your vehicle, I highly recommend them!!

These guys are not going to rip you off!!If they think the job is going to cost more than the vehicle is worth . They straight up tell you! I ve brought both of my vehicles to them. Honesty is something that is rare.Id trust them again and again!!!

I went here for a 3rd opinion in my car and the owner said I mostly didn't need any of the things the other 2 places said in needed just over the phone. Well he was correct and saved me over $2100.00. His mechanic even brought me out to show me and explain everything to me. It has been a wonderful experience all around and I will take all my business to them from now on. I highly recommend them!!!!

I love this shop! The owner is so fair with pricing and friendly and accommodating. I will refer them to everybody and bring all my vehicles here, super pleased! Such a relief to find a good and honest mechanic.

I have never, in my 70 yrs, received service like this anywhere! Never! The owner, Matt, should be running a nationwide school on customer service. It was incredible and I can never thank Matt enough!I was in a dire position. Two cars dead in two days. One was not salvageable and the other, an ugh, Ford Focus. The transmission died. Well Ford being Ford, had no transmissions to offer. So the hunt was on...and Matt was ready. He searched high and low to find me a transmission and he did it. In the meantime I was going to be without a car. Matt didn't want me to pay for a rental while I waited so he found me a used car to use that was thankfully pretty cheap.To go thru all the awesome ways Matt helped during this experience would take forever. He is simply...AWESOME!If you have any trouble with your vehicle you'd be crazy to take it to anyone except Matt.

If you take one thing away from this review, make it this: Matt, the owner of Greeneville Tire & Performance Center, is an exceptional business owner. He's helpful, fair, and above all else, honest. Matt and his team are straight shooters. They will tell you exactly what's wrong and how soon it needs to be fixed (and if you can get away with not fixing it for a while).I recently moved to the area and needed a mechanic to do a pre-purchase inspection on a used minivan I wanted to buy. I called a few different shops, but my call with Matt stood out.Matt not only quoted me a very reasonable rate for an inspection, but he asked more about my specific situation and offered many helpful tips to consider when test driving and looking over the car myself. Also, since he had a Toyota specialist on staff, he made sure I came for the inspection during that worker's hours so that his expert on Toyotas could be the one to inspect the Sienna I was considering.I ended up buying the van and today I came back to the shop to get new tires put on it. I had called Matt ahead of time and while he didn't have my tires in stock at that moment, he was able to get a set delivered from his supplier quite fast! The tire change itself was done quickly and expertly and my van drives noticeably better.I'm planning on going back soon to have one other issue with my van corrected. Matt and his team and earned my loyalty for sure."A business truly is a reflection of its owner." That quote certainly applies to Matt and Greeneville Tire & Performance Center.

Highly recommend, went for an oil change and it was done in under 10 minutes and they charged me a great drive 34$!Compared to Valvoline charging me 68$

On two occasions now, I have needed help with my car. I didn't consider either an emergency because I was still able to drive it, but Matt apparently did because he asked me to bring it in as soon as possible saying he would work it into the schedule somehow even though there were no openings. Both times, the work was done quickly, and I've been very pleased with the results. The car will reach 100,000 miles in a few days, and thanks to Matt, I'm looking forward to another 100,000 miles after that.

I had been mistreated at other places because I had just relocated from another state to retire here. Matt was AMAZING! Since my car is a few years old and a few things were wrong, he gave me excellent advice with no BS about the situation. I wanted to do the things to keep safe and he took care of me. Price was also extremely reasonable since most shops have the outrageous mark up. Thanks Matt for the advice, the customer service and the quick turn over. Also, who ever worked physically on my vehicle did a GREAT JOB! Brakes haven't been this good since I purchased the vehicle. Thanks again to Matt and his staffServices: Tire rotations, Brakes

I had my brakes done by this company back in August of 2022. At the time my brakes were ordered, they came without the necessary sensor. Land Rover had them in back order well fast forward to April 2023, it s STILL on back order with the company. (It s not Greeneville tire & performance, it s actually Land Rover.) They have been trying to get the part for me since August and have diligently been trying to do so.I don t have a single positive thing to say about LR at the moment because EVERYTHING my vehicle needs is constantly on back order But Greeneville Tire & Performance has done its due diligence and kept my file on their desk to constantly try to get the necessary parts.And they are ALWAYS super pleasant to speak with. They apologize for things that aren t in their control (like LR not manufacturing the parts) and offer to help anyway they can.Great group of people!Services: Auto brake repair, Oil change

Had my truck towed up to this shop, as the water pump had blown out.I called, and spoke to the owner, and he was able to schedule me in. Had my truck towed up on a Monday, and it was repaired and ready to go ON Tuesday, the following day.The Service was amazing. They were very professional, honest and I would highly recommend This shop to all my family and friends. Will be back this Summer for new Tires. :)They did a great job!Service: General repairs & maintenance

It took two days to get in for an appointment, but completely worth it! As soon as I was walking up to the building the gentleman working the front desk opened the door for me and greeted me with a smile. My car was taken right back and the service was done quickly and efficiently. As a single mom who knows nothing about cars I am happy to have found someone who is affordable and friendly and didn't try to sell me on hundreds of dollars worth of maintenance I "needed". I have been taking my vehicles to Matt for 20 years. Yes before he owned Greenville tire and performance. Not only is he the most honest mechanic I have ever met, he is a great person. A lot of times I would call Matt and have him hear a sound coming from my car even though I did not live near him anymore and he would tell me what it was so that I could go get that fixed and not get screwed over. Matt and staff hands down go ABOVE and beyond for every single person that comes into the shop. I have been going here for several years. Matt (and the guys) always talk to me and explain EVERYTHING. They have worked with me on more then one occasion, and have NEVER let me down. I have never met any other shop that was as honest, about prices, and work... then this shop. I started using Greeneville Tire and Performance Center on good recommendation from a friend and I have been blown away by the level of quality and courtesy! I have come to trust Matt as an honest business man and a good mechanic. He'll tell what he thinks you need to do for your car, and he'll tell when he thinks it's not worth fixing. Best mechanic shop I've ever had the experience of working with, honest and fair both in pricing and work. I will be using Matt's shop until they close up and retire

Extremely helpful, accommodating, and professional. If for any reason they can't help you, they will try to find someone that can. An honest mechanic may seem impossible to find but that's exactly what you will find in Matt and his crew.

July 5 2017 i went around 3:30pm had order 4 tires and payed in cash. I brought 4 wheels that had chrome finish. i waited in the customer Lounge for about 1hr and i thought wow there been careful. After they got done we inspected the tires but noticed scratchs on every rim near the center hub. These were new rims never been off the car before this so i brought it to his attention and he said "non of are equipment can damage tires like this". Then he went to show me im wrong by taking me to the two machines that he used one being the machine that puts the tires on and off of the rim the other that balances the tire. The first machine didnt do anything near or around that area. The second machine uses a cup to hold it in place that matchs up perfectly with the scratchs. And its clearly what caused it. After i said that is what did it and then said i was wrong it couldnt be us. So after i told him i know it was them. He then kicked us out.UPDATE: July 6 2017Have been contacted by Manger.Will update what happensManger offered to polish rims, so we took one and when we got it back it still had the same places but was better. I will leave my review at a 3 star. This was my first time here and maybe i just had bad luck. But this is my review and my experience. Last update 8-7-17

The owner, Matthew was very professional and very straightforward about the repairs on my Subaru Forester. Also, super personable and kind. He walked me through the steps of what they would be looking for to fix my car. They also got it done in a very timely manner. Would 200% recommend this great shop!

I really can t say enough good things about Matt and his team - they re friendly, professional, efficient, and honest. They don t recommend stuff you don t need done like the dealerships do. They re also way more reasonably priced than the dealerships. I ve been taking my Toyota to them for over a year and will continue to do so.

I am from the UK and am visiting our family in Greeneville TN. Had a flat tire and used a tire inflator to get it to nearest shop which was Greeneville Tire & Performance Centre. Was greeted by the service centre who immediately got it looked at. They repaired whilst we waited and told us they fixed it and there was no charge. Great service could not ask for anything more.
