After having a bad experience with a different shop recently, I decided to take my vehicle in for an oil change at the Goodlettsville location. I had a coupon for $39.99 for a full synthetic oil and filter change. Tabitha waited on me when I came in. She was receptive and friendly. There was some confusion and back and forth with her at first in regards to the prices and coupon. I was a little early for my 10am appointment, so I went into the waiting area. My vehicle was taken in about 15 minutes later. They started service on my vehicle thereafter. Tabitha came into the waiting area after about 30 to 40 minutes to tell me that my oil filter was less than 10 minutes away. I guess they don't keep a large stock of oil filter on hand? About 15 minutes after that, Tabitha lets me know that my vehicle is done. I checked out, looked over the paperwork and left. When I first checked in though, I asked Tabitha what brand of oil they use and she replied "Valvoline" So I made sure to once again state that I wanted Valvoline "Full Synthetic". The funny thing though is when I called another time, a gentleman named Caleb I believe, stated they use Pennzoil. So to be honest, who knows what brand of oil I received. Hopefully though it was full synthetic. I gave a 4 star rating only because of some confusion about prices, coupons and the brand of oil they use. In my opinion Midas should make it clear to their customers via their webpage and their employees as to which what brand or brands of oil they feature. And if you have a coupon, make sure you read it closely and look at the fineprint.

We were on a long road trip. Acquired a tire leak after running over something small on the highway. Quickly pulled into the larger competitor next door who said we don t have time for something that small . Pulled into Midas, we were met with a smile and super polite service. They heard our emergency, got us right in, quickly found the leak, and repaired it. They has us back on the road in about 30 min, and the fee was only $30. Impressive. Thanks Midas staff in Madison TN for your help! You saved us! We appreciate you!

I have taken my car to get an oil change at Midas for the last 3 times because they are willing to do an oil change for a cheap good cheap price, but i got what I payed for. Each time I took my car to Midas they have managed to mess up my car at my expense. The first time I took my car to Midas they cross-threaded the oil plug without me realizing they messed it up. I found this out the second time i took my car in and they charged me to rethread the hole and put a new plug in. I thought this was the end of my problems. However, this last time when I took my car in for an oil change in they told me I have to replace the whole oil pan and it would cost $1300.00. This last time they said they used a "temporary" plug since the whole pan needed to be replaced because I didnt want to pay $1300.00. I ended up going across the street to autozone and I found out that a new oil pan only cost $300.00 so I will not be doing anymore business Midas unless they offer some sort of restitution for the damage they have done. This series of cheap $40 oil changes has turned into more than a $1300 bill.

Melissa and her team we extremely professional and kind with setting expectations and delivering on everything. She answered my questions made it clear how much the service would cost and beat the price of the regular facility I go to.I live hours away but would consider driving to her facility again if it lines up with my work travel to have the same experience. I highly recommend this facility.

I had the best experience there! Melisa is top-notch and deserves all the positive things coming her way. It is always unnerving to get work done on your car as a woman. Will they overcharge you or will they listen to you about what you think your car issue is? Melisa and her staff took all those concerns away. They were friendly, efficient, and reasonable with their prices. I have officially found a place I can go for work on my vehicle and really trust the service I am receiving. I am definitely one happy customer.

Some Midas locations are great. And hands down, their oil changes are cheapest I ve found. However, this location nearly charged me $400 more than Jiffy Lube did for the same repair.Employees at this location estimated $900 to repair my car s brakes including the axles. Something didn t sit right with me, so I paid for the oil change and drove on bad brakes until I got to Jiffy Lube in Goodlettsville. They ended up charging me less and getting it done in just about double the time it took me to get an oil change at Midas (Jiffy Lube on Cartwright was fast).I ve been a Midas customer for a while, but this location ain t it.

Walked in to get an oil change, walked out w NO OIL in my car as indicated by the engine oil LEVEL light. Not even sure if they inspected it at all Bc I didn t get a sticker & got a blank report. The second report just had all the green checked & my tire size??? Smh this ain t the only Midas that has staff/managerial issues. But I will for sure never come to this particular one again. Esp Bc the manager hung up on me after I told him what was going on & I am STILL waiting on call/email back from district.UPDATE from JUNE 2021: district manager kept emailing me but never replied to ANY of the emails nor did I get any returned calls from the number that was left in his email, can only assume my number was "blocked" bc it only went to voicemail after a while. Anytime I put in request for contact from a district manager through Midas website, same guy would send out an email but never reply....HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT PULLIN UP HERE :)

I wouldn't know what to do without TJ & his crew. I'm so thankful I took my vehicle to them cause he literally was straightforward with me leaving nothing out. He explained everything in detail and didn't let me down one bit! I will be back for all my services. TJ is very well trusted & very well educated on auto repair. THANK YOU AGAIN

I experienced the worst customer service I ve ever seen here from one of them. The ones working on my car did great, but the guy behind the counter was awful. Upon arrival I gave them my keys to get it checked out for brakes. I was told I had a 30 minute wait and the guy behind the counter didn t tell me about the wait room so I was sitting on the lobby floor for ten minutes. I didn t find out about the wait room until the mechanic came out and said there was one. After inspection I was told that for them to complete my service it d be roughly 2 hours. In this two hours the guy behind the counter went in an office across from the waiting room and began smoking, sleeping, and getting on his phone. I could hear him snoring and the cigarette smoke was very noticeable in the wait room. He missed several phone calls, and a young couple came in and got ignored. I never write reviews, but this one guy earned it.

I visited your store on Mon Mar 27th at 10:45am to get an oil change. There was a coupon online for $24.99 synthetic blend oil change. Once I showed the guy working the coupon he caught an attitude and said no we won't put a synthetic blend in your car. I explained to the guy working my car always has got a synthetic blend. He still had an attitude then said oh they didn't have the time. If you guys aren't going to honor coupons don't out them online. This is a horrible way to treat your customers. This location in Goodlettsville TN I would tell everyone to stay away

Unimaginably poor workmanship. On one occasion I went in for an oil change. They didn't put my oil cap back on and all of my oil leaked out as I was driving on the interstate.My next visit, i decided to do some preventive care by fixing a recommended oil gasket leak; an hour later they called and said the car won't start because 'the fuel pump malfunctioned'. What started at 200$ turned into 2000$ without any real explanation as to how it occurred. I surmise the mechanic's incompetence is at fault.If you can avoid it, take your car quite literally anywhere else.P.s- Scott is great guy. Positive energy and affable. But that store is no well oiled machine.No cap.

The crew here knew what was wrong with my car and gave me a step by step plan. They had told me things about my car that made me feel confident to bring it back in the future. They were friendly, fast, and helpful. Glad I stopped in.

Please please please don't take your vehicle here. They charged me $950 for a $85 Wheel Assembly then added $700 in labor. The job took 30 minutes. I told them no and they said they couldn't put the car back together. I still said that's okay ill send a tow truck. They put me on hold for 10 minutes and came back and said they are wrapping up with my vehicle so it's too late but they'll give a discount. My bill was north of $1400 for a 30 minute job and $85 part.If you don't believe me on the part google "hummer h3 wheel assembly"While I'm not getting my money back I hope I can save you from wasted money. It's not easy finding an honest mechanic, but these guys surely are not that. I don't know if all Midas are this scammy, but this one is.

The service was fine. I used the coupon from the back of a Kroger receipt for a semi synthetic blend oil change and tire rotation for $17.99 which I think is a good price. The job was done in a timely fashion and to my satisfaction. When I came home though, I noticed there was a big greasy boot print on my carpeted floor mats and I'm not too pleased with that.

What can I say about this place? I would never go there again. Bought a groupon coupon for an oil change and made an appointment. When I got there it still took over a half an hour to get my into the shop. Total time to do an oil change was an hour and a half. Then they tried to tell me that I needed to have over $4000 worth of work done. Told me I had oil leaking from multiple gaskets and I needed to get them fixed. I took the car somewhere else and used the engine oil dye to find leaks and turned out it wasn't leaking at all. They seem to always be trying to make more money off of you. Buyer beware. Not only are they dishonest but usually they are rude as well. I gladly take my money elsewhere.

The staff was very nice and did their best to be accommodating, but the wait time was far too long. I scheduled an appointment and after about an hour and a half I realized that they still hadn t taken back my car. Another gentleman in the waiting room told me that he had dropped his car off at 8:30 and it still wasn t done when I left around 12:40. It wasn t until I let them know that I had another appointment that they were able to get me out in about 45 minutes.

Initially my experience with Midas was great. However, when I decided to not move forward with the service the manager became extremely rude and hostile.She tried to force me to pay for service that had not been performed, then for parts I did not want. She threatened to hold my car until I did so. Once I asked to speak to her manager she told me that there was no one else I could speak to because she was the manager and she 'speaks for that store.' Finally she gave me her manager's number but it turned out to be some random stranger's number when I called the number!! She then attempted to contact her manager on her personal cell and then said 'that's weird I'm not sure why I don't have his number in my phone.'She banged her phone on the counter, said, whatever you can leave I will just eat the cost. I tried to explain to her that the price was just too expensive and I could get it done much cheaper since I have a young daughter and could not pay 800$ at that point and she replied 'yea, I don't care about that.'Gave 2 stars for my initial experience and a great diagnosis done by the techs. I was able to purchase one of the parts needed and replace it myself for less than half of what she quoted me for that one part alone. I understand this is a business but at the same time you should not try to take advantage of your customers or severely overcharge.

I had a flat tire this week and Midas was able to work me in to get my tire plugged up and back on my car. A special shout out to serviceman Josh who had great customer service. I got a quote for new tires from Midas and will come back in the next month to get 4 new tires

If you had 100 Jerrold s you d put Firestone out of business! He is the absolute most hard working , knowledgeable service provider you have! No one else will ever touch my car and I have tons of friends and family that I recommend to him! Give that man a raise!!!

Tried to upsell me on $2300 worth of work on brakes and front end work. But little did they know that the car was fully inspected by a trusted independent shop 6 months ago when purchased and had a clean bill of health. I had a receipt from another Midas where the brakes were done less than 10 k ago when the dealer had the car Funny how when I said I got off early for the holiday the manager said his boss told him he would be able to leave if they did $5k of work that day. Well you wouldn t be making half your goal on my car. Now I know why the Firestone next door was booked 5 day out.

Best place for car maintenance!! The staff there helped me so much and even gave me a discount I didn t even know about!! I want to thank Scott the manager on duty and Chris the technician that worked on my car, you guys did an amazing job and the customer service was even better!!! Highly recommend.

I don't usually leave reviews, or bad ones because I know how jobs can be. However, it is unacceptable to order the wrong part 3 times, order the right one, make your customer wait for 6 hours and miss work because of an error you made, then tell him after he's waited overnight and a full 24 hours that he needs to pay 150 extra for the right part and then give your customer a pity party about how the extra parts are coming out of your pay as a store manager after you've already charged me double for ONE axle brake service. It should have taken you one hour and a half for even the least experienced person to complete a single axle brake job and it shouldnt cost 450 dollars for 2 rotors and a set of pads and one hour of labor. One hour of labor is 120, brake pads and rotors WITHOUT the shop discount is 115. That's 240 dollars around with tax. Absolutely unexcusable. There is no reason for this business to be open.
