They saved the day! When installing tub fixtures openings were to big. Found a great solution. It looks like it was suppose to be that way the whole time. Big thank you!

Terrific place. I'm a local trucker who broke down nearby; I needed a simple weld to repair a broken rod. They took me in and had me fixed up right away! Kind people, excellent service, and even a friendly dog

Wow I am so thrilled. I couldn t find anyone to fix my gate. I was recommended to this company. They sent out a man within a week and our gate is as good as new and beautiful and works! Thank you Steve and Prather ! We will use you again

I started this process in November of last year with the promise of 6-8wks lead time. The quote was probably 1/3 more than similar quotes. Paid 1/2 upfront $3800 for 21 linear ft of handrail. I thought it was a lot, but they came highly recommended and they could turn it around quickly... It's now March 23 and it JUST installed. Communication was horrendous. Not one timeline was even close to being accurate. On the 17th of November Steve said they would be out to template the week after Thanksgiving... They finally came out January 16. They sat on $1900 for 2 months before doing anything. Sometimes it took a week for Steve to return a simple email. I asked for the design drawings and received sketchup screenshots. I had to resend concept photos twice and they had to come out and measure twice and if I had not requested they make a 6" setback instead of a 4" setback, the railing would not have fit at all. The morning of install... Steve sent me an email asking for final payment... and it wasn't even installed yet... after sitting on $1900 for 5 months... And the amount he requested wasn't even accurate. I'm just a small contractor and a homeowner, but working with Steve, we felt like an afterthought the ENTIRE time. They still couldn't even drill all the holes, but the railing looks ok. The entire process was subpar at best. I would be out of business if I treated my customers like we were treated. Premium price. Subpar service.

I am 100% impressed with Prather Metalworks! A neighbor gave me Kyle's name. When I contacted him he came out the same day. He took pictures and measurements and asked about the look I wished to achieve on the stairway. He showed me a nice selection. It was difficult to choose but I couldn't be happier with the results. Kyle nailed exactly what I wanted both inside and a small area outside as well. Best of all, installation took place just a few short weeks later. I highly recommend Kyle and Prather.

Love these guys!!! I'm a landscaper and have been using Prather Metalworks for over a decade. If anything, they've only improved since ownership change, but Kelly and Jennifer, my A team, are still there and still provide spectacular quality and service. for Kelly and his team. Definitely the best custom welders I can find in middle Tennessee.

I had some trailer stakes and additional attachment points fabricated for my gooseneck trailer. They were completed ahead of the time they were promised and all the work is quality with obvious attention to detail. The staff was friendly and professional. Highly recommend them.

My most recent purchase was a custom frame for an entrance sign purchased from Road Signs. And, another sign for on the back of the Welcome signage....therefore, need a special design to hold both signs together and compliment the front sign. I left it entirely up to Jennifer, and she knocked the design out of the ballpark.....love it and can be seen by everyone visiting my farm on Old Hillsboro Road. i am a repeat customer of years back! Will refer all to this company for any welding job.
