I LOVE Kirby s garage! THE best people, outstanding attention to the Big picture, no one attempts to sell me anything unnecessarily, prices are lower than the dealer (whose aren t?) and lower than the big box shops such as Jiffy Lube. They know cars from many many years of experience and have a fantastic reputation. I can call and ask questions, drop in and ask, and it just feels like a small town garage. This is the third car I ve brought to them and I can t imagine not using them. I recommend them very highly.

We always take our vehicles to Kirby s because of the excellent and timely service. This most recent experience they went above and beyond getting me in immediately and fixing my heater within a few hours on a freezing day. We will always go to Kirby s and highly recommend their service.

Great service and staff. I brought my 1950 pickup in for a coolant leak. Most shops would be hesitant to work on a truck like this, as is far from stock. They had me fixed and out the door in a few hours.

They quoted me for my powersteering fluid leak which was 378. After they said they fixed it I discovered it was still leaking over the weekend. When I brought it back to them they proceeded to say that the first piece I paid for wasn t the actual problem it was actually something else and proceeded to tell me it s going to be an additional $350. I was not pleased

I called Kirby s as I had a battery problem and came in shortly thereafter. They took care of me immediately and had me up and running in less than 45 minutes, after replacing both my battery and my battery minder. !! I ve been going to Kirby s since we moved here in 1978 and think they re the BEST!! I use them for all sorts of service issues, and recommend them very highly.Service: Battery

The entire staff is an awesome team member group. They are honest, dependable & spot on when it comes to evaluating what needs to be done. It s obvious they know their business & the needs of their customers! I highly recommend Kirby s for anything & everything that needs to be taken care of with an automobile!!! I have been going to Kirby's Garage for about 15 years now. I would rather spend my time and money at this repair shop. They have never let me down and always do a perfect repair job. Mitch and Trey Kirby treat every customer like family. I couldn't imagine wasting my time at a dealership just to be annoyed with the long wait times. I traded with the current owner's grandfather 42 years ago. I moved back to the area and this was 1st and 2nd visits with his grandson (Trey) now working with his father (Dean) in this independent business, My wife and I had a fantastic experience and they went out of their way to fix our tire, provide our scheduled service inspection and maintenance and get us in and out quickly and efficiently. Service, value and a smile go a long way these days. Nothing like a locally owned and operated business. We will most definitely be a returning customer . . . God willing! I recently had 2 cars worked on at Kirby s Garage. One major repair and one minor. Mitch and his team were outstanding!!!When there were delay s waiting on parts they kept me posted. The repairs were done perfectly, on time, and in budget. I m sooooo happy we found this amazing place for our car maintenance and repairs! When my daughter moved here, I suggested she look for a family owned business to care for her Jeep. Woke up one morning with a completely flat tire. Took it in to Kirby s. They immediately helped me and discovered my rim was bent. They have access to a service that can fix bent rims on site. Within a few days I was as good as new, and I it only cost a fraction of what a new rim would!

I cannot speak to actual repairs, but I wanted to share my recent experience with Kirby's Garage at the Marathon gas station on Hillsboro in Grassland. I've been having brake problems and took it by yesterday. Susan was extremely kind and helpful. Customer service was excellent. I left my car for inspection but they quickly called to let me know the problem. They informed me that my car was still under warranty and I should be able to have the problem fixed at a dealership at no charge. They said they did not feel comfortable doing the work and charging me for it when I could have it done under warranty.Who does that?! Hard to find honest service these days, and Kirby's exceeded my expectations. We've had a good experience with them before, and this cements it. I appreciate their honesty!

My son took his 2015 Honda Civic in for work the dealership wanted almost a grand to complete.Kirby's got him in the next day and did it for way less than half that price.I never worry about getting recommendations for unnecessary work or being overcharged.I highly recommend Kirby's Garage!

Mitch Kirby and his garage have given me some unbelievably bad customer experiences lately. I have been taking my family's cars to Kirbys for ten years. I estimate that during that time, I have spent around $15,000 there. But recently, when I questioned the high cost of a tune up, he told me,"that I should try doing it myself sometime." What kind of standard is that? I can't do it because I don't have the equipment or the expertise, so Kirby's gets to charge whatever they want? I have had a problem with my 2005 Toyota lately. I have spent around $3,000 with Kirby's in an attempt to get it fixed. Well, I still have the same problem. When I called to set an appointment for them to review their own work, I asked for a loaner car and was told I couldn't do that anymore because the last time I used a loaner, I filled up the tank of gas at another station, not Kirby's. We are talking about around $10 worth of gas. In my view, decency and customer service would have them trying to help me at this point. There is a $3,000 dollar problem, not a $10 dollar problem. I will never take a car to Kirby's again and I hope you don't do business with that place. Mitch Kirby has made an a** of himself to a loyal customer and I will do everything I can to make sure other people do not have the same experience. Just go somewhere else.

Kirby garage has worked on 3 of my families cars and have done great work on each. I took my Lexus SUV to Kirby's after the dealership said I needed brakes, only for Mitch to tell me I had 50% left. I was able to drive the car for over a year before it really needed brakes and then had Kirby's do the work. I'd recommend them for all your repair needs.

If I could give them zero stars I would. We had an appointment at 11 for a simple oil change and had to call an hour and a half later after they hadn t contacted me just to find out that they were working on another job and then the mechanic went to lunch. When I asked for a discount to make it right they told me that they just can t hand out discounts or else it would cause issues for them. That s what I call bad business.

These guys are great! They looked at my car, noted everything that needed to be fixed, had all the parts needed, and got the vehicle back to me on the same day. The service was top notch, they were very straightforward with any details about my car and made suggestions as needed. It's also good to support your local businesses and these guys have held this spot for as long as I can remember. Do yourself a favor the next time you need your car looked at. You won't regret it.
