I just left Gateway absolutely disappointed! My experience was a mess & my 3 hours were completely wasted! I live in Columbia, after they replaced my factory breaks & rotors, my car has never been the same. Columbia replaced them a second time & they continued to scrub & squill. This is why I decided to drive to Franklin Gateway. The first time, they shaved the rotors down or something like that. I was appreciative. But It still continued to do the same thing. I went back last Saturday & was told the mechanic guy does not work on Saturdays anymore. And told me that I do need new lug nuts & that he tightened them up. Fast forward to today .Told them the break problem again & that they should probably switch the brand. Told them that I would like my lug nuts replaced. They came back to tell me that I needed motor mounts replaced. Okay fine. But my breaks were never replaced & I did not receive the lug nuts I needed replaced! They called my location in Columbia for me to go there. IVE GONE THERE MORE THAN A FEW TIMES! THATS WHY I CAME TO YOU ALL!!!! It was obvious that they did not want to deal with it! Replacing breaks & rotors would not have made them any money because that s under warranty. Hence why they called Columbia!

Great service. Had my tire ordered and installed same day. Had about a 2 1/2 hour wait time but not the biggest deal. Was back on the road in no time

I had a good service with my car's at gateway But not with my truck, somebody stole the battery. The starter of burn out from the old battery somebody put in. Call them they didn't care I had to get it towed repair it somewhere else C ost me nine hundred dollars

I called from Indianapolis, to ask them to help my daughter with a vehicle repair, as she was stranded and needed help. These guys were awesome. Jacob was kind to my daughter and helped get her car back in business.Glad to see there are honest, good people in this world.

Usually this is my place to go, services has been great most of the times, they've patched my tiers couple time for free, and usually car service is always on point.kind of bitter sweet experience going on right now, I moved out from Franklin but still going there for service, after latest service last week, my car has been leaking fluids, so kind of hard to go back since they don't take appointments to check it outUpdate:After visiting car center again they told me if car was leaking oil was because of a bigger issue, and it would take maybe couple days to find out the cause.Took my car to another place and the issue was because of reused crush washer on drain plug. It be nice if they see stuff like this let clients know, I wouldn't mind to pay extra for a new part like that.

This place is top notch!!I had a 6" Rough Country lift installed, upper control arms, and wheels & tires (mounted & balanced) with alignment on my 2019 Toyota Tundra.They did everything with no issues, hiccups, ifs-ands-or-buts at all, and they did it within the quoted time-frame.I really appreciate them for making everything a very stress-free and pleasant experience! I highly recommended them!!!Thank you Nick & Garth!!!

We pulled in for a tire issue. Service was quick, so friendly and accommodating. They even fixed a separate issue we mentioned ! Out the lot in 20 minutes!!

I work at a business around the corner. I have always had a great experience from them and they have always worked very hard to earn my business and I will never go anywhere else. -MattP.S. Thank you to the service member that took the few seconds to rip a stripped locking lug off my truck today. Employees like that is why your shop will always earn a 5 star review from me!

I am extremely unsatisfied with my experience here at Gateway. On Monday morning at 8 am, I had my car towed to Gateway because it had good reviews and seemed trustworthy. I called them at 7 am, as soon as they opened on Monday morning, to inform them that my car would be towed there and to discuss the issues with my vehicle. I provided them with my information and details about my car and was told they would take a look at it on Tuesday or Wednesday, which is understandable.However, on Wednesday at 11:30 am, I gave them a call to get an update, and they had no idea that my car was even there! I had to give Nick my information AGAIN, and he told me they would take a look at it that afternoon. So, on Thursday at 2:30 pm, I called again wanting another update. Nick then told me they were short-staffed, but he thought when we talked on Wednesday, I would be dropping my car off to him the next morning. I had to remind him yet AGAIN that my car was already there and had been since first thing Monday morning.It is now Friday morning, and he just called me saying they lost my ticket, and when the wrecker dropped my car off, he didn't tell anyone and they had no way of knowing that my vehicle was there. Let me remind you that I called at 7 am on Monday morning to inform them and then again on Wednesday and Thursday. Nick then tells me that they are 7-10 days behind before they can take a look at my vehicle. I had to get my car towed to their building, and now, after it has sat for 5 days untouched, I will have to tow it elsewhere. I am very displeased with this service, and I do not recommend it whatsoever.

I recently visited gateway in cool springs to price some tires for my car; Jacob was helpful but he was constantly grooming himself behind his desk made me feel very uncomfortable.

Service was quick and excellent! I called them because I brought my car to a local shop to have a flat fixed - despite trying to plug the leak three times, they could not stop it. I called Gateway to get a new tire, but when I got the price (my tires are very expensive), the gentleman suggested that I give them a shot at fixing the tire first. I brought it to them, they took 10 minutes and had it patched and had me on the way home. I had purchased my tires at Gateway last year - so they did not even charge me...that was a blessing on a crazy day. Thanks guys!!!

We have a somewhat elderly Toyota 4-Runner that we have taken very good care of with the help of an excellent Auto shop that we trusted, but moved away from. We now live in Nashville, and we were having some issues we realized needed to be addressed. It was not braking well, and the steering wheel would shake. These were things we had been putting off because we did not know where to find a comparable auto shop here in Nashville, a shop we could trust to do the work. Someone recommended Gateway Auto and Tire in Franklin, and we now have a new and trusted source to get car repairs.We dealt with Jacob, and he has just been outstanding. He took the car in, did the evaluation and called to report the problems and the necessary repairs. He kept me apprised of everything, just what the problems were and what the repairs would cost. He was so nice, handled everything so well, and I can t say enough about how helpful he was. The bottom line is, I don t remember our car feeling this good EVER! Gateway did a great job, I am so happy and he made the whole process so easy.It is peace of mind to know your car is well taken care of in this city where driving is so essential. We will recommend Gateway and Jacob, and be glad we found them for our auto care; they have been great.I will always call and ask for Jacob because of how helpful he was, but the shop was great too.

My wife and I were shopping locally in Franklin yesterday (3/18) and we noticed our driver side rear tire was quickly losing air due to a large nail/screw. We called numerous establishments to have serviced and Gateway was the ONLY service center in the local area who was able to make time to accommodate and have repaired on such short notice. My wife called around the 12:20 pm hour and spoke with a very nice woman and she stated that they closed for business at the 1:00 pm hour but would be happy to repair if we could be there before closing. Upon arriving, we were taken immediately and the tire was repaired without hesitation. I couldn't be more thankful and was so appreciative. I would strongly recommend this service center and if I ever have any issues in the future, I will be sure to take back here. Thank you so much for your help!

They did a good job installing the lift kit. A few miscommunications led to an initial negative review. After getting a call from Garth (the GM) we cleared up everything and I am making plans to get future mods installed here.

Always very, very busy but had our vehicle ready when they said it would. Very respectful to women customers, my wife is a fan. Friendly to all. Dependable service every visit. Reasonable and fair prices for tire repair, balance, alignment and complete brake job and 1 odd job to replace a small rubber door grommet. No job too small.

Took my car here to have the tire patched and they told me the hole was too small , they also forgot to mention my front tires were so bald they were about to blow out, I took my car somewhere else the same day and they patched the tire right away and were completely perplexed as to why a reputable business would tell me they couldn t patch the tire. I m leaving two stars because it was two hours before they closed, maybe they just didn t have time to do the work but they could have been honest about that.

Around 2 mos. ago, I brought my car in for diagnostics regarding the steering wheel. Nick had the courtesy/honesty to let me know that the repair was under warranty. Long story short, I was unable to have my car repaired by the dealership, but he was able to fix my car within a couple of days. I was then reimbursed per the warranty Nick brought to my attention. Great repair and more importantly I had someone who was honest with me upfront. Thank you to Nick and everyone at Gateway Tire for helping me out!

Before this recent experience I'd have given at least a four-star rating, but this most recent visit has made me wonder if I'll continue giving them my business. I had a flat tire and a warped wheel due to hitting a large obstruction on the interstate and Gateway Tire has had my car for eight days now - a repair that should never have taken more than 1-2 days max. I was told incorrectly they'd be open on Labor Day and when following up on day seven the woman who answered the phone seemed both confused about what I needed an update on and annoyed that I called. Being without a vehicle for over a week because of a minor fix has been a huge inconvenience and I doubt a larger chain like Discount Tire would be as much of a hassle, even if it costs more.

Just finished getting new tires and brakes done by Gateway and they did a great job. Nathan at the front was friendly and nice to work with. He helped me pick out the tires and was straight forward with the information, cost and options not trying to up sell or push anything. I left the car over night and they were prompt to call and got it done early. Friendly service, up front pricing and good work are what you need when looking for tires and brakes. I would highly recommend them.

Update: Thank you for your honest response concerning this review. I do appreciate you taking action and acknowledging this was not handled up to your standard, and you have offered to make it right. This is commendable and speaks well of you as a business owner. True customer service is hard to come by. Thank you for taking the time to address this issue . I had only heard good things about your company and that was why I had recommended it to my son. Your mechanics may not have fixed the issue, but you have proven yourself to be someone with integrity by taking care of this in such a professional way. Thank you and I pray your business keeps going strong.After someone recommending Gateway, I suggested my son to give it a try. He had his compressor replaced by another repair center and it was still blowing fuses. He took his MKT to Gateway and explained to them what had already been done by a previous repair shop and spending over $800 and how he was still blowing fuses. My husband and son let me know they were not impressed with the attendant that took the information, but was hoping for a positive outcome. After a couple of days they were called and told the car was ready. They went in and was told that they changed the fuse and recharged the AC. My son was furious. He had told the attendant when he dropped the car off that this had already been done twice at another repair shop. So after paying for something that had already been done, my son drove the car down the road and in about 10 minutes, the fuse blew again. He took it bake to Gateway and told them they had not resolved the problem. They assured him they would look into the issue and get back with him. Gateway had the car for about 9 days. Did not give updates on their progress unless we called in and checked. We came to the conclusion this had been put on a back burner and they were not working on the issue. I stopped in one day and spoke with the mechanic. He assured me they were looking into it but had not come to a solution. At that time I told them the water pump was leaking and asked if this could be part of the problem. He assured me it was not causing the fuse to blow, but if I wanted to have the water pump replaced they would be glad to do that. At that time I knew they were not spending any time diagnosing the problem. Within a couple of days they decided they did not know what the problem was and we could pick the car up. After several hundred dollars again, we had a car that was not properly diagnosed and fixed. "DO NOT Take your vehicle to Gateway if it is anything other than regular maintenance or tires. They are capable of test driving and running up a tab!. We did find a mechanic in Lafayette that took the time to dissect the issue and found the solution. It was the water pump. It was throwing water into the new compressor and electrical system and causing the fuses to blow. At this point the new compressor was ruined and had to be replace. Which possible could have been prevented if Gateway would have been capable of diagnosing the issue. Gateways lot is full of cars which makes it look reputable, but I would not recommend them for anything other tires and oil changes, and at this point, I wouldn't even recommend them for that.

Gateway is the place for all things car. From tires and related services, to handing the lift and airbags on my F250, they have done it all for me. Truly a great service experience. However, I hesitate to share this because on-site parking is a challenge. They have a LOT of vehicles in their lot which makes finding a space a challenge.
