This is the only place I'll take my truck. I have a general skepticism towards mechanics because personal experience. And with engines, there's too much I don't know and never will. I just have to trust both the honesty and the expertise of whoever works on my vehicle. But having gotten to know the owner, and having had nearly a dozen great experiences there, I no longer have to worry about where to go for regular maintenance or unexpected repairs for my truck. This is a place you can trust to diagnose an issue and do exactly what is needed and not try to con you into repairs you don't need. Five Stars all day long.

Took my work truck to Michael and his team. His team was very thorough thorough and thorough. They helped replace rear shocks, sparks plugs, and throttle body. Would highly recommend him and his team for any quality automotive repairs you need in Franklin or Brentwood.

Highly recommend this shop for car repairs. I've been going to Franklin Auto for 4 years now. Experienced mechanics, willing to explain the problem and guarantee the work. There's a lot to say about a shop you can trust and repairs you can rely on. Keep up the great work fellas!

i just experienced the amazing service first hand at Franklin Automotive. My personal truck wiring issue was hard to trace down even after exhausting youtube and forums. Eventually had to have it towed to the TOP GUNS for help. Tim and group traced the faulty wiring issue which was an aftermarket MSD Coil pack harness for all left bank cylinders 1 3 5 and 7. Helping me with this super rouge wiring problem gave me enough info to continue on with a plan of action for replacement and get me back on the road. Thanks again for the knowledge guys.Service: Electrical

I have been going here since they opened . Tim and Hunter are just great. They are both really just great mechanics. As well as very good and honest people. They have been so helpful keeping my vehicles on the road. They are super and you can know that it is done right. It's hard to find a shop like this! Most garages will take advantage of you unfortunately. But Franklin Auto is a place where you can put your mind at ease. I can't say enough good things about both of these people and the business they run.

My wife's car was not starting as if the battery was dead - although we had just put in a new battery. I took it to Franklin Auto and Tim popped the hood and noticed right away that whoever put the new battery in didn't properly connect it. He fixed it within 2 minutes I was on my way! I thought it was the alternator and expressed that to Tim, but thanks to his honesty I was able to drive away without going out of pocket. I highly recommend Franklin Auto for all of your car needs! Tim was amazing and honest. I went in thinking I needed a front cover replacement that the Toyota dealer diagnosed (Approx $2,500), but he found that I needed a less intense fix that only cost $500. Franklin Automotive was recommended to me. I expected that I needed brake pads due to their age. Instead, I was notified they are well within their service life and they did not need to be replaced. The service I did need was done promptly for a reasonable charge. Honest, competent and fair - this is where all of my vehicles will go for service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Our experience with Franklin Automotive was excellent. We went there in order to diagnose a noise at high speeds which turned out to be due to uneven tire wear. The owner was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely honest. He didn t try to sell us on anything we didn t need and was very generous with his time. Great experience! Highly recommend!

My first visit was earlier this week, and I could not have been any more impressed with Tim and Hunter and Franklin Auto. They diagnosed exactly what needed to be replaced on my 22 year old truck, and I am 100% happy with my experience here. I'm telling you, all of their google reviews are spot-on accurate! This shop is honest, professional, quick, patient, communicate well, charge very reasonable prices, and do great work. It's all good! The shop where I used to take our cars closed recently, and I can already tell you after just one visit that Franklin Automotive will be my go-to place from now on. My first visit yesterday and the reviews have it bang on the money. Great service. Dropped my vehicle mid afternoon with no appointment and the brakes were done in and hour and 5 minutes! I had spoken to Tim who had said just bring it down and we will get it taken care of. An honest very reasonably priced shop. Hard to find in the automotive trade these days. Strongly recommend them. I normally don't write reviews, but I felt I just had to share my great experience by going to them. Tim was very friendly and honest with his opinion. My initial reason in going to Franklin Automotive was from the positive reviews from previous customer experiences. I have to say that they deserve those 5 stars and I see why others rated them that high. They will be my go to business for any future car concerns.

Fantastic group of guys. Quick work done professionally at a great price. I tend to do most of my vehicle maintenance but anytime I cant do something, they are my go to. They will continue to have my business for the foreseeable future. Tim and Hunter really know how to keep me informed and updated and do terrific work. Thanks guys!

I took my Jeep in to Tim and Hunter with a major engine problem. They diagnosed it quickly, repaired it, and were extremely reasonable on the cost. I highly recommend them for your auto needs.

Though I usually have friends fix my car, I thought it was time to find a shop near home. Called Franklin Auto and they were lovely. Chatted with me over the phone a bit to discuss what could be wrong and made me an appointment significantly faster than I thought I'd be able to get in.Long story short- they dealt with my sleepy self at 7:30 am trying to be awake enough pre-coffee to explain what was wrong. Hunter has a grand sense of humor and dealt with my 200 stupid questions about whether or not he thought my car would explode mid-highway. (I've been known to be a bit dramatic at times).What a previous shop had told me turned out not to be true. It ended up needing about half the work they said and that it could actually be driven for a while longer without any worry. The crew at Franklin even checked out a few other things that had been wrong to tell me what could be done to fix.Overall, I found them all to be a lovely bunch. Informative and honest, knowledgeable, patient and pleasant to be around. Even though I didn't get anything fixed this time, I will certainly be taking Old Blue back there when she needs some work.

this is one of the best customer service experiences I've ever encountered.. from beginning to end.. this place is just amazing for automotive care..it's classic, almost from another era..my plea to them is please don't change and anyone considering using this business all I can say is you will not be disappointed..that's my take anyway..bottom line, it's the best of the best..

Always a great experience with Tim and hunter getting my car & my daughters serviced either oil changes or service engine light. They are up front on parts and labor and guaranteed all work and parts. 5 stars across the board.
