If I could rate them a 10 star I would. Had a major fuel contamination issue with my car and the dealership wanted almost 8k to fix it. Was recommended to Davis Auto by a friend and they were able to fix my car for 1/10 of what the dealership quoted me! My car was back to a perfect state, they are also very good with communication and they have the job done by when they estimate it will be done! My car was so low that I had to remove the bumper to have it towed and they were even kind enough to let me bring my car back into the shop so that I was able to reinstall my bumper without getting dirty on the ground outside. Again I highly recommend Davis Auto to anyone in needs of repair, very honest business!

I ve been to Davis Auto for different types of repairs and I ve had nothing but impeccable service. Seth and Jason are top notch in their automotive knowledge and kindness with customers. I ve recommended this shop to all of our friends and extend this to those reading my review. You will not be disappointed. We will return if the need arrives!

Great service and care I can trust.Davis is great at keeping records of our cars. Their scheduled maintenance is never questionable and is always expected for me as they let me know months in advance what to expect. They also repaired an intermittent blinker that was not correctly repaired at different shop from an accident I experienced.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Professionalism from the word Go!Jason and Seth are knowledgeable and patient, listen to your situation, advise wisely and reasonably, communicate well with options and just overall give off TRUSTWORTHY vibes throughout the process.The Automotive Service world is riddled with distrust and what too often feels like tomfoolery. I called and scheduled an appointment to get my breaks looked at. They called me to confirm my breaks needed replaced. They were able to work with me to get my car by the time I needed. They didn t say 39579 other things were wrong with my car. Charged me exactly what they said they would. Just a reliable and trustworthy business.

Davis auto is hands down the best mechanic shop around. I have used this shop for several years and recommend lots of people to them. I have never heard anyone say nothing but positive comments about their experience at Davis auto! If you are looking for a small business mechanic shop this is your stop! I promise you will not be disappointed.

I have done business with Davis Auto several times and found them to be straightforward and honest in their business practices, which are ideal qualities when working with any auto shop these days... be it a dealership or independent.All the work was completed on time, for a fair price, and without any issues after the fact.I will use them again in the future and would recommend as well!

I've been going to Davis Automotive for several years and the service is always great. Night drop, quick diagnosis and timely repairs are always provided. Davis Auto was somewhat unusual when compared to other auto repair shops. Not in a bad way, but in a good way. They were much more communicative along the way, and handled my questions with patience and professionalism. I am very happy and will most definitely be a repeat customer!

The folks at Davis Auto Service treated me well and made sure my car received quality parts and care. They didn't try to upsell me with other "issues" which I truly appreciated. While I knew I needed the full shebang on brakes, I mentioned a rattling coming from underneath; they located the source and made repairs at a nominal fee rather than trying to (again, upsell) replace something. Definitely will be back.

Highly recommend Davis auto repair. Called and got an appointment for my car to be looked at. Dropped it off and Seth looked at it, but couldn t find the problem after looking at it for two days. Told me to call him back if I start having issues again. Didn t charge me for anything. Will definitely be back and will recommend them. Seth also kept me informed on everything. Thanks again.

Davis Auto Service has excellently cared for our vehicles for nearly 30 years. I appreciate the addition of appointment slots for routine maintenance like oil changes and wheel assignments. Gets me in and out quickly when I don't have time to leave the vehicle.

Davis Auto has saved my butt more than once. I ve gone to them needing work done the same day and they have helped me out. They are also honest & caring people. My battery was under warranty and I didn t realize it. They made sure I knew and only had to pay for labor. I wish I would have got their names. There was 2 of them that was so helpful & kind. Then one older man with gray hair let the door slam in my face when he saw me walking in behind him & was annoyed when the nice one asked him to take my car back when they forgot to install my headlight. Overall I would highly recommend anybody go there. They are kind, knowledgeable, and have most of the same equipment as the dealership.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Davis just replaced my radiator in my truck and did a great job. They were very thorough and knocked out the job same day. I was referred to Davis auto repair after calling around to get info about a repair I needed on my SUV. They were professional from the phone call to the finished repair! During the phone call, they offered several possibilities as to what I might need, given the description of my issue. I took my vehicle to them and they had me diagnosed within 45 minutes and promised one of two options as far as to when the work could be finished and, of course, how much it would cost. I was impressed from beginning to end with the way they handled me as a customer and the care they took when making the needed repairs. They were prompt and they were thorough. The HUGEST THANK YOU to Jason, Jan and the team at Davis Auto Service. We are visiting from 4 hrs away and had an axel come dislodged this morning, stranding us in Franklin. Not only was Jason willing to fit us into the schedule on a Monday morning, they took amazing care of us, walking us through all the repair options and helping us decide the best course of action to ensure our safe passage back home today. I've been using Davis Auto Service since they opened. They are the most reliable and dependable auto service provider you could ever ask for. They repair your vehicle right the first time. They have the expertise ,experience and equipment to make that happen. Awesome shop, and awesome staff.After an unexpected alternator issue during a family trip, the owner(manager) squeezed me in onto the schedule so we were not stranded another day, welcomed my family into the waiting room, very accommodating waiting room, as they fixed my car, and went above and beyond to make sure my extended warranty was put into affect and able to be used, as we couldn't get any appointments to get our car fixed at the actual dealership in order to utilize extended warranty.I will forever be thankful for this shop and their staff.Look no further when finding a mechanic to honestly and reliably work on your vehicle!

I have been coming to Davis for over 30 years. Gary won my loyalty years ago when I dropped a car off at the shop so it could be repaired while I was at work. Normally, when I did that, Gary would send someone to my workplace at the end of the day to pick me up and bring me back. This particular visit, I had made other arrangements so didn't work out a pick up time with Gary. Much to my surprise, he showed up at my job at the regular time anyway just because he was concerned that I didn't have a ride. I was stunned and have been a loyal customer ever since. I have had multiple cars over the years and Davis has always taken great care of them. I currently drive a Subaru and Jason, (a former Subaru employee) knows everything about the vehicles. He has been great about diagnosing any problems I have and on more than one occasion, has told me I didn't need an expensive repair that I thought I did. I have moved from Franklin but now drive from Nashville when I need work done because I trust Davis and it is worth the extra time and miles to me. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

Not only is Jason super knowledgeable, but he is actually willing to share that knowledge freely and candidly. I've talked to multiple repair shops in the past couple of weeks, but Jason was the only person I found who was actually willing to discuss the cost range for our specific repair scenario while also clearly explaining the factors that could potentially impact those costs. If he treats a non-customer this well, I can only imagine the high level of service we'd receive should we use his shop for any future repair needs.
