While I don t like spending money on auto repairs especially a rebuilt engine, I feel a sense of ease and satisfaction with work that was done. The owner and staff were very helpful and accommodating to my needs. Great work and a fair price so I highly recommend Crutchers Auto Repair for complex engine solutions and quality work.

Crutcher s has become my first choice for auto repair in Franklin. They have the combination of factors that most people desire when searching for automotive repair. They do really good work, they don t lead you into unnecessary repairs that are not really needed, their turnaround times are always reasonable, and their prices are very fair considering the high quality and consistency of their work.

During the recent cold weather our car would not start and we called Crutchers. They gave us a timely appointment and referee us to a tow service that quickly arrived and took our car to them. Crutchers did a thorough assessment and our older car need extensive repairs. We chose not to fix the older car and when asked, Crutchers referred us to a local company to sell our car to that gave us a fair price. Crutchers went above and beyond and did not charge us anything for this process. We were extremely greatful! They are such an outstanding company and we will certainly use them again in the future. You will not be disappointed if you use this honest, hardworking, local company!

Fairly priced, knowledgeable, fast and honest They won t push you to get something done. I took my highly modified Jeep to three other highly reputable places. Crutchers confirmed the problem with the first visit.

Didn't even charge me to look at my car after I hit a pothole and blew a tire. After having it replaced elsewhere I dropped it off for further inspection here. I can only imagine that speaks character to the quality of their work when a service is required.

Had an accident about 3:30 PM. They would not help because it was too close to closing time. And no I did not copy and paste this or make a mistake. I m not in your database because I m not from your area. I was traveling through, had an accident on 840. I called you on the recommendation of a friend in the area. I was told it was too close to closing and that your business could not help me. I ended up having to get my car towed an hour and a half to Nashville. It s still there waiting for parts. This has cost me thousands of dollars and I don t appreciate you implying I m lying or mistaken.

I am more than satisfied with Crutcher s. My truck broke down and really through my day off track. I called Jamie Crutcher and he told me to tow it in. I was worried that I would not find a rental car and he told me he had a loaner car available while the repairs were being done. That in itself was a huge help and greatly appreciated. I later got a full diagnostic and the repairs were far less than I would ve expected. They put me ahead in their already packed schedule and had my vehicle repaired in two days! Jamie was very thorough with the entire process and really helped me through a stressful situation. I have already told three of my customers about them and will continue to do so. Great customer service goes along way with me and I am truly grateful. I got my breaks done here, and two days later the break on my right side fell off completely. Thankfully I was out in pegram with no cars in front of me, but it took me about 100 feet before my breaks would let me even slow down. I pulled my car to the side of the road and called crutchers immediately, and they offered to give me new breaks and rotors and sent me out a rental car which was very nice, but I would not recommend this business for break renewal.Service: Auto brake repair

I m happy to give this review to the fine folks at Crutchers. I only have one vehicle and they were able to expedite the parts needed for the repair and got the job done well ahead of schedule. Everyone I dealt with there was pleasant, professional, and they really did a great job. I can t say enough how happy I am with their service and if I could give them 6 stars I would. I wish I could give this business 10 stars because they absolutely deserve it! Hands down the best place to take your truck/car for repairs & maintenance. I drive 40 minutes to have them work on my truck because they are the only place I trust to repair my truck and repair it right the first time. The work they do is top notch and the people there are the nicest you will ever encounter. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Hayden (he was my rep while my truck was being fixed). He squeezed me in without an appointment (they were booked up for the next 2 weeks) and was In constant communication with me throughout the process. He even knocked off the charge for my tire rotation which wasn't even necessary as they had already saved me a few hundred dollars with their competitive prices and warranty. Midas personnel were very pleasant and accommodating. Manager took the time to show me details of my problems and explained everything. Also gave me a ride home. Crutcher s worked on my Cobalt a few years ago, and a service issue came up that needed addressing from Crutcher s side. I was so impressed with how they addressed the issue because it was actually kind of an easy thing to put back on the customer, but they took the experience to the top level of care and earned my business.They also took the time to explain things to me and even show me the problems my car had. I was happy to pay them by the end of it all, and now I m happy to recommend them.My friends recommend Crutcher s, and I absolutely understand why now. Thank you, Crutcher s, for an excellent experience! (Funny to read that back - it sounds like a commercial, but that s genuinely from my heart!)

Had work done by them on several cars over the years. Most recently helped me get a replacement engine in my Kia after getting denied several times (they gave me suggestions on non Greenway Kia dealerships), and were even willing to have the owner speak with the GM of Kia if a new engine wasn t put in. Needless to say, a engine was put in and I was finally able to get rid of my Kia and I owe so much to this place. Thanks to everyone at Crutchers!

I could not have had a better experience anywhere. My son got leave from the army at the last minute for thanksgiving and I did not have his car ready to go back for him. I called Crutcher s at the last minute and they said sure bring it on and we will get you taken care of. They went above and beyond to make sure his car was ready for an 8 hour road trip. There price was great. super easy and friendly service. Crutcher s has gained my business from now on. Nice to find a hometown shop that is not corporate to take care of my family s needs. When I picked up his car they said please thank your son for his service to our country!!!

I have had Crutchers work on several of my cars and they have always done a great job. Most recently they worked on my sons car and they really went the extra mile to determine the root cause of the check engine warning lights he was getting. They treated my son very well and took care of him. In today's world its comforting to find a place you can trust.

Got the "SERVICE 4WD" message. Took truck in and they squeezed me in. Read the diagnostics and immediately said that with several messages, the usual culprit was the switch in the dashboard. They also said replacing it was the least expensive fix and definitely worth the first shot (I liked least expensive). They got the switch, installed it a couple days later and all was good to go. What I really liked was that several of the office staff (front and back) came out and chatted making me feel like a valued customer. Definitely they are now my "go to" mechanics!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

My family and I were traveling from Northern indiana to our spring break destination of gulf shores Alabama. Franklin is our half way point. Our 08 impala made it to the stop light right before our hotel entrance. It was late on a Sunday and no places were open. The wife and I looked online for the best options of a shop to look over our vehicle. We ended up talking to Crutcher s because of the locals reference s to their quality of service. They go far beyond any experience we have had at a car shop. The hospitality was beyond words. We continued our vacation travels with a rental car. They let us leave our vehicle on their lot until our return. They are very quick with service and send text alerts about updates on what is happening. My alternator died on me on a Tuesday and Crutcher's said they could repair it on Wednesday but the tow company took it to the wrong shop clear across Nashville! It took a day to even get my car to their shop! Crutcher's not only let me know my car wasn't there first thing Wednesday and they worked with me to get my car repaired on my tight schedule when a new tow company finally got it to them and got it back to me within one business day. Their courtesy in the midst of all that chaos was incredible!! Everyone was so nice and worked with me, and their labor charges are quite reasonable as well (another solid perk)! They made sure my battery was charged and that everything was running smoothly. I highly recommend their shop, they have not only earned my trust, but their customer service is award winning as well!!!

These guys are great! Very honest, hardworking, and good people. They are a true local shop. They learn who you are and your vehicle. Repeat visits don't require you to constantly remind them of the work that has been done. They care to understand what your vehicles problem is. They will chat with you about what is going on, what work you might have done to it, or any information they can get to understand whats happening with the vehicle. They are very easy to work with and have good fair pricing. I recommend them to anyone in the Franklin area who is tired of getting ripped off or made to feel stupid by the dealerships. These guys are top notch.

They were wonderful to work with. We sort of figured out what our problem was with the AC and even got the part we thought that was broken. We left the car the night before our scheduled appt and by 8 am the next day they already had called us to tell us we were right but we also needed the same part for the other vent. The car was ready for us that afternoon and the bill was more than fair. They were recommended to us by friends and we will definitely use them again.Service: A/C installation & repair

There were mistakes made in fixing my vehicle, but things happen. The owner and foreman were very honest and straightforward when I brought the issue to their attention. Went above and beyond in ensuring they made things right by me. Wouldn't hesitate to take my car back there, and definitely recommend them. Don't feel my issue reflects negatively on them whatsoever. They more than earned my trust which isn't as easy thing to do.

I can not see enough good things about Crutcher's Auto Repair. They are profession, quick and extremely efficient. Immediately after having my truck inspected I was given a call with an update on what was diagnosed and was given an estimate of what the repairs would cost as well as recommendations on what is absolutely necessary versus what may not be a crucial repair. In the end my old truck has had too many significant problems that exceeded the overall value so I did not have any services performed. That being said, I was not charged for the cost of the diagnosis and the thorough workup that was done. Crutcher's has continued to keep me as a loyal client and I will continue to refer anyone to their business.

I got referred to this place and it seems to be very professional. They sent me a email of my repairs being done for me to authorize it and once I did that it was ready the next day. I drove the car and it seems like everything is working fine the brakes are in good condition and plus they give a 3-year warranty I highly recommend this place if you want good quality service on your vehicle.

Outstanding service! Not only were my car's mechanical problems promptly fixed, I was amazed at the superior customer service. Paul explained every step, set realistic expectations, and even helped arrange a ride so I could get home when I dropped off my car. After picking up my car Jamie contacted me to make sure I was satisfied. This was not a prefunctary gesture. I was confident that any concerns I had would be addressed to my satisfaction.

Check engine light came on (blinking pattern). The lead manager at Crutcher's quickly identified P1326 error on my 2018 Hyundai. He also researched the database in his office and offered the best solution: go to the dealership. He said that if they touched the engine of my car, it would void the warranty. That was an honest and correct answer. It may be hard to find an honest mechanic, but I trust Crutcher's based on my experience.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I was referred to Crutchers by Discount Tires after needing two front tires replaced. I really needed the front end alignment before I commuted twenty miles each way as this had been primarily why I needed new tires. Crutches staff was helpful and kind when I called and honest about saying they would try to work me in but it might be the next day before they could complete my repair. I had been home ill two days and eager to get back to work as a much needed nurse. I received a call @ 5:45pm that same day my car was ready. I'm very appreciative of their forthrightness, effort and excellent outcome. My car is driving more smoothly than ever! I recommend Crutchers highly, you will be ser ed well and pleased.Margie Gale

We had a great experience with Crutcher's. We are new to the area and were looking for a trustworthy mechanic - WE FOUND ONE! Shea was super friendly, knowledgable, accomodating, and HONEST. I've never had a service before where I'm quoted a price, and the actual comes in lower. I feel like most mechanics seek out problems with your car, and before3you know it you need to pay quite a bit extra. To top it off, they were willing to make arrangements for us last minute when they were clearly very busy.
