Absolutely fantastic!! From the folks in the shop to the absolute best office manger, they really have a good transmission shop. Clutch went out, they recommended Gentry Towing (also great, arrived in 10 minutes), they got to it and I was back in business in a few days. Much much appreciated!! Highly recommend.

I received great service from c Katherine May Terry and Jamie .They had my 2021 Ram pro master back to me in less time than I expected 3 to 4 days they said it would be a week. They communicated with me letting me know How things were going throughout the rebuild process of my transmission. Even though my compound drum had exploded sending metal through the transmission they stuck to the price quote exactly. Best of all the transmission performance is like new and bet than ever after a about a month now still doing great. I highly recommend them to everyone because for years they have consistently provided A1 services.Keith Billings

No one gets excited about having their transmission rebuilt, but these guys make it easy and are a fraction of the cost at the dealership. We needed it done quickly before a road trip and they made it happen. Even provides a guarantee. Highly recommended!!

I had a wonderful experience with Coleman Taylor transmissions in Franklin Tennessee. I was traveling from Washington DC to Scottsdale Arizona when my car started having transmission problems. I was worried that I would be stranded or delayed, but luckily I found Coleman Taylor transmissions online and decided to give them a try.I was greeted by Katherine, who was very friendly and helpful. She explained the process and the costs clearly and honestly. Jason and Gene were the technicians who worked on my car. They were very knowledgeable and skilled. They fixed my transmission in record time and did a thorough check of my car to make sure everything was working well.The next day, I was ready to resume my trip. I was amazed by the quick service and the excellent customer service. Katherine even called me to check on me and make sure I was satisfied with their work. She also gave me some tips on how to avoid transmission problems in the future. I was touched by her kind heart and genuine concern.I highly recommend Coleman Taylor transmissions to anyone who needs transmission service or repair. We had our transmission give out passing around Nashville on our way to Florida. Local GM dealer could not help us for 4-6 weeks. These folks got us in on Jan2 and had us back on the road two days later. No problems since. Special shout out to Catherine who kept us fully apprised of the progress the entire time it was in the shop. I highly recommend this company!

These folks are AMAZING! The Toyota dealer said I needed a new torque converter for my Tacoma. Coleman Taylor recommended that I try a transmission service first to see if that fixed the issue. CT did the service and no more issues!! They saved me $4,000!!

Great experience - from the office manager/receptionist who was very friendly and helpful - to the mechanic that informed me that it was not a transmission issue and referred me to a local shop (Moody's) who could help with what i needed done. Provided reports and error notices as well. All at no charge even after offering to pay them for their time. Hands down the best service i've ever experienced from an auto mechanic shop.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. It is very hard these days to find a place that provided the customer service that I received here at Coleman Taylor. They got me squared away and the experience was TOP NOTCH. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you are having a transmission problem this is the place to go. Wonderful customer service. I was shot straight and was given a quote and was charged exactly the amount of the quote. I was told an approximate time frame and they delivered on that timeframe. Highly recommend these guys. It's hard to find a company that will do what they say they are going to do. I had a transmission rebuilt and a rear main seal replaced.Service: Transmission

Coleman Taylor Transmissions rebuilt my transmission in my 2004 Ram 2500, they seemed reasonably priced, but I did not shop around, I was referred to them by a friend, and with the three year warranty I wasn t willing to risk taking the truck to a less reputable shop in hopes of saving a few bucks. Coleman Taylor had the truck for a total of two weeks, including diagnostic time, once they had found internal failure, they quoted me a price to rebuild, and said it would be about two weeks for the rebuild. The price was exactly what they had quoted, and it was done in less than two weeks from the time I gave them the go-ahead. I ve only had the truck back about a day now, but it seems to working great!Service: Transmission

I absolutely hate dealing with car issues, but this place made it a very pleasant experience. I wasn t charged anything for the diagnosis or the fluid they put in that helped fix the problem. The lady that works the front desk is just as nice as can be. I would highly recommend this place if you are having issues with your transmission.

I highly recommend Coleman Taylor of Franklin, TN for any transmission work. I have a Ford Explorer that had a small leak at the real axle seal per the free inspection they performed. When I brought it in for repair, it turns out there was another small leak at the transfer case. Since they missed the second leak in the inspection estimate, they honored the original quote which was a substantial difference. I didn't even have to ask -- they just did it automatically. The final bill was actually lower than the original estimate.This shop is the most customer focused auto repair place I have ever used. I understand why their lot is filled with customer vehicles and they have a backlog of work. I will definitely use them again for any transmission repairs on my vehicles.

The Chevrolet dealership (that I purchased my truck from), informed me it would be 3 weeks before I could bring my truck to them, then they would need to keep it for 3-5 days just to diagnose the transmission problem, then additional time to repair. Coleman Taylor diagnosed the problem the day after I had the conversation with the dealership, and were refreshingly honest and straightforward regarding the problem. Jason and the team at Coleman are amazing. When you have a transmission problem, it's rarely good news. They took the time to diagnose it, and then gave me some options and I never felt pressured. I shopped around Franklin and Nashville and their warranty and value is better than any other shop in the Nashville area. Wonderful people. Had my truck transmission rebuilt here a few years ago and was totally satisfied with the rebuild and the whole customer service experience. Had two other vehicles checked out since then for suspected transmission problems only to find out it was something else. There was no charge either time!! Who else does that today?
