Charged me 375 to get my car out of a ditch 10 ft from the road. 2 door light car but still charged an exorbitant amount. Did the job fast after 25 minutes of waiting but it took under 3 minutes to tow. Don t understand how it could be so expensive compared to other tow companies.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

I wish every towing company was as professional and kind as Ken s. We must have called Ken no less than 12x in a five day period. Every time he answered, he was kind and would go above and beyond and text us information as he had it. He never acted like we were a burden. He was so helpful and patient with us. I am truly and sincerely thankful and appreciative of the outstanding customer experience we had with Ken s Towing and Recovery.Services: Special vehicle towing, Car towing

Broke down in Franklin 5 hours into our 12 hour trip. I called 3 other towing companies before calling this one. The guy who answered wasn't super pleasant, but he said he could get a guy to us in 20 minutes and he did! Ken arrived and was so helpful and kind to us. He took us to the dealership, dropped us off and made it a super pleasant experience for us. Highly recommend Ken towing your vehicle!Service: Car towing

Horrible just horrible. Took them 2.5 hours to show up after promising to be to me within 90 minutes. When they arrived, they couldn t event tow the vehicle. Their home office dispatcher failed to pass on all of the information. When pressed on this she handed me off to the owner who tried to weasel out on a weak explanation of why they wouldn t be able to help after accepting the job. If you value your time at all, look elsewhere.

Called, didn't get a greeting of who they were. Just said hello, I was stuck at our Lee Company headquarters in Franklin. I asked if this was Akins Towing, the gentleman responded with yea but we aren't available and hung up! This was one of the places my insurance recommended. Well definitely will not recommend.

Fantastic experience! I called and the phone was answered by a friendly, helpful gentleman and he was able to send a truck over immediately. The driver was careful, knowledgeable, very nice, and fast. The $ towing service to the dealership was extremely reasonable. Don t hesitate to use this company!

The gentlemen who picked my car up was very thorough and explained the process to me. He was very kind and helpful with my concerns. Once my car was in Akins possession, this company has been nothing but a HEADACHE! The men who answer the phones are not professional, did not let me finish my sentence and kept cutting me off. This is my VEHICLE in your possession, do NOT cut me off. LISTEN to what I have to say and when I tell you I am giving my ins company permission to pick up my vehicle, at least ask my NAME. I should NOT get a phone call from my ins company a week later stating I needed to call Akins & give said ins company the permission to obtain the vehicle. GET ORGANIZED. Super frustrating.

Quick service and the driver was very friendly! They got us up and running in no time when we were stuck on the side of the road! I'd call them again in a heartbeat, a very pleasant experience all around! I have a feeling all the negative reviews are from angry people that have had their cars repossessed, because I have zero complaints.

I have not used their service, however I just witnessed a Akins towing truck driving with rage in the middle of the rain. It is raining, and I was driving from Columbia into Spring Hill, this specific driver was tailgating me when I was driving 15 over speed limit down a hill that specifically states reduce speed during this area because of construction. I am finally able to move over for him to pass and is going about 20-25 over speed limit weaving in and out of traffic and cutting people off. The towing company may be legit, but if you are driving a company car and the logo of the business is on the car for everyone to see, you need to be courteous to other drivers because you are representing the company. I know if I ever need to use a tow truck, I will seek other companies first, and other people this driver cut off may be thinking the same thing

My insurance company assigned akins towing to perform a tire change. The driver showed up and seemed to be in a horrible mood. The driver ignored me the entire tire change. I will use a different company next time, not worth the attitude.Service: Tire changeService: Tire change

Ken, the tow truck driver came within 30 mins, charged us a very fair price for a 32 mile tow. Ken was really nice, and was a pleasure working with him.I'm happy

I called and they were rude! Didnt know the exact price on on getting my vehicle out. They didn't care that I had a bunch of things in my vehicle that I needed asap. They out my broken car parts in my backseat.you can just tell that they didn't care about taking care of there customer.

My insurance company sent out Akins Towing. The gentleman that helped me with my car was named Ken. I needed some quarts of oil put in my car and not only did he tow me to Advance Auto Parts, but put the oil in for me. I told him he didn't have to stick around and do that. And he told me to pay my kindness forward. You have people who are there to just do their job. Then you have people who are there that do their job, with a touch of being an angel. He was one of them. It might seem like a small gesture, but in the time of confusion and frustration, that little gesture meant the world. Thank you, Ken. God bless you and God bless Akin Towing for having him.

There s nothing at all that can be said about Akins Towing in Franklin, TN. I have watched a family s world turned upside down because of the events from 11/20/2019. The driver actually made a U-Turn on Internet state 65 and caused an accident that nearly killed my friends dad while he was on his way home with dinner. I hope and pray I never run into the driver or anyone from Akins Towing for that matter. This whole ordeal that was caused by Akins Towing driver has caused this family to nearly lose everything because my friend has to help take care of his mother whose disabled and now his dad who is just now walking with a walker short distances. So I hope and pray that they realize how this has truly caused everyone s life to be turned upside down and anyone who s considering hiring this company please think twice.

I just had the most AWESOME towing experience. The driver thought that he could not get my car out of my garage, but determined to not leave, helped me to get my car to the dealership, FLAWLESSLY. He made my day... Thank you!

The guy who helped me was really nice and gave me a ride home but he completely defaced the interior of my vehicle . My change container is inoperable and a piece of the interior beneath the radio is cracked and halfway torn off . Very displeased.Service: BatteryService: Battery

Great service for a not so great day. The long 42 mile haul back to my mechanic was pleasant and I felt very comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone that needs help and fast.

Extremly rude and high on prices was wanting to charge me 175 to tow to a different location that was closer than where they were taking it ... when calling the owner im assuming he is quick to hang up without giving you time to talk .. do not reccomend at all.

I needed a tow truck in Washington Mo and these people came out to help me fast. The driver was friendly and the price was cheap. I will use them again if I need to.

I was driving behind their truck on Mack Hatcher when the driver threw a cigarette box out of the window. A box, mind you, not a cigarette. He may not live in Franklin but I do, and I don't appreciate his litter. I haven't used Akins and now I never will.

They told me 10 am pick up, when cops showed up they called you guys and you told them I had not scheduled a pick up. The cops towed my car to your buddies Andy's towing(same tow yard). Worst experience ever.

Awesome experience polite quick even to have drove from Franklin to hendersonville very helpful cody is the man he handled our car with care and unloaded it exactly where we wanted it without ruining our grass would highly recommend

Was going to pick up car 2 weeks ago n was talked out of it by owner said oh leave it here the insurance company will pay the bill so of course the insurance company got out of it leaving me to pay 500 more dollars than I needed to awful just awful .
