Absolutely horrible!! Had to have my entire oil pan replaced because they completely stripped out the oil plug and no one could remove it!!!! Don t take your vehicle here!!! They have lost all of my family s business!!!!!!!!!!

I came into Valvoline express care with a small problem on my old BMW. This problem had nothing really to do with their regular service they perform. But Greg and his team told me "pull it in and we will take a look" . Immediately all three men started working on my car. 10 mins later they said "got ya fixed up". I was so amazed and so happy. The kids working here are great. However, the owner/management runs this shop dishonestly. Was told it was $61.99 for a synthetic blend full service oil change. When it was over, was charged almost $90. Bait and switch, so sad companies these days are so shady.

DO NOT GO HERE! 0 Stars!When I initially came to this business for an oil change. The employees were friendly and quick. I had heard great reviews from locals. Everything seemed great and I went on my way. The next time I needed an oil change I went to a place closer to my house and there was difficulty getting the oil filter cap off. I was told they were required to send me back to the last business that changed my oil. So I came back to Valvoline Express Care. I told them the situation and they started trying to remove the cap. This process took an hour and several people tugged and turned to get the cap off. The cap was damaged in the process of removal because they originally put it on too tight. They asked me if I wanted a new cap put on and of course, I said yes. These caps are around $15 from AutoZone where they purchased the cap. I was told they would only be charging me what Autozone charges. (They should have covered the cost since it was damaged due to their mistake but I let it slide) They wound up charging me $50 for the cap. I went back after reviewing the receipt and had a long discussion with the owner who refused responsibility and claimed they deserved labor payment for how long it took to get off. (They put the cap on too tight soooo....not my fault) After this, I caved and walked away. Now I have discovered that they cracked my housing while trying to remove the cap. Now the oil is leaking. This repair can be very pricey! I called the owner and had another VERY LONG talk about my situation in an attempt for them to do the right thing and take responsibility for their mistake just for him to refuse and hang up on me. So, NO, I will never recommend this business to another person again. This chain of events happened because they put the cap on too tight, which everyone knows you just have to turn it a little bit and it will be ready to go. Now I am stuck with the repairs on my car that they are responsible for. You are crooks who overcharge and do not take responsibility for your mistakes. DO BETTER!Service: Oil change

My wife and I used to be loyal customers of Valvoline Express Care of Elizabethton and we even recommended their services to our friends. However, we had an unpleasant experience with them recently. They over-tightened my wife's fuel filter cover, causing the housing to break. Despite this mishap being clearly their fault, they refused to take responsibility for it or provide a solution to fix the issue. As a result, we will not be recommending their services anymore.Service: Oil change

I needed brakes done. They had to order the part. It look me a little bit to get back to them but I called them back asking If I can still bring my car for brakes and do they still have the part. They told me yes and to be there at 9am next day. So I arrive and they forgot and told me they didn't have the part. They took my number and said they would call trying to get my part early if they can find it. I was so angry then so I waited and waited and no call. I call them and they said it would be Monday. So I call Advance auto parts and got my part that day. I call back asking them If I bring them the part and told them it would be after 3pm, can they still see me that day and they said yes. I get the part, call back and they said their "brake guy" left at "3pm" and it would be Monday. I had an emergency with my brakes and needed themdone that day. COMMUNICATION IS KEY. If they couldn't do it, they didn't need to waste my time and dayI will never ever be back for oil change or anything. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Especially brakes.

Timely, excellent, and honest service! They went beyond what I asked them to service, but only charged for what I had scheduled. And honest - I was a fool when A1 told me I needed a differential and transfer fluid exchange on my front-wheel drive Sienna (only needed for rear-wheel drive vehicles). I price checked and found Valvoline provided the service cheaper and scheduled the transmission and differential fluid exchange with Valvoline instead. After it was done, they let me know I didn't need the differential service I'd requested after A1 told me I needed it done and warned me other shops would have charged for it because I asked for it (they didn't know A1 misled me in telling me my van needed it done - so stay away from A1!)

Done in 15 minutes. I called ahead to verify they carried full synthetic oil and the correct oil filter for my GMC Yukon. $85. Very courteous. I didn't even get out of my car

Got great service for a great price! Everyone there makes you feel they care makes all the difference in the world. Greg is an amazing owner and always takes care of his customers. Phillip that works there makes sure everything is done right as well as the other staff so you always feel welcome and get taken care of every time.

Great service. I have never been disappointed in the job they do. Best price in town on detailing inside and out. I have them clean my car every few months. They are always accommodating to my schedule. I wouldn't go anywhere else anymore. I love the local hometown feel they have about them. They have even offered to come pick up my car for me. Customer for life.

Best experience I've ever had with getting my oil changed!! Went in this morning, (first time I had been here), took it right then!! I believe the guys name was Justin?.. Didn't ask me a million questions, didn't try to sell me anything else! Just got it done and in like 15 minutes!!! I felt the price was very reasonable. I will DEFINITELY be going back.

This place is a 15 minute drive from my house. so that's 30 min there and back. the wait was 15 minutes. all in all I was out the house and back in the same time it takes for Walmart to get my car in the bay. I'm overjoyed with the speed and quality with which they do the job. I thought this place was just an oil place but they also checked my tire pressure, wiper fluid, air filter, wiper blades, etc. I will go nowhere else in the future.Service: Oil change

The oil change was satisfactory, but we didn't receive the great service we've gotten from other Valvoline Express locations. The invoice said they had checked the air filter. They did not. They didn't check the tire air pressure as stated on the invoice. Not huge things, but dishonesty doesn't cut it.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Very nice and friendliest people you will ever meet. They do a wonderful job at detailing automobiles and tune ups. The owner is a cool dude and very nice. I highly recommend going here and doing business with these guys.

Honest. Efficient. Great prices. As a woman in mid-twenties who knows nothing about cars, this is the only place I'll go without the fear of being taken advantage of. Been going here for 9 years now. All the men that work there are respectful of their customers. Great place!!
