Terrible! Waited 4 hours and never got the oil changed.. I was shopping around a couple of hours which was ok. When I asked of they had even started they said no, but they were pulling in the car 'now' an hour later they still hadn't even started. By the way, brought my vehicle there at 8:00 in the morning. The workers don't help by being outright rude also.

Only reason for 2star is lady at register is always nice in automotive. They always take forever to do any kind of work in shop. Went 1 morning shortly after they open and said it'd be several hrs just to rotate tires, why? You just opened, it should take maybe an hr

They have always been fair and quick with their appts. I've never had any issues. Just make sure you come early if you wanna get anything done right away. They are first come, first served. So, if you wait, there may be a line of people ahead of you.

I was told the oil change would be $35 when I brought my vehicle in but when it was time to pay they charged me an additional $30 in labor and said it was because it required an extra half a quart of oil. Total bill was $68, almost double what I had originally been told the price would be. At no time was I told there would be double the cost or even more than the original estimate. I pay my bills but I also must make my decisions based on the money I have. Unfortunately this time a fast one was pulled on me and I ve been hurt by the extra and unexpected charges. Unprofessional in my opinion.Service: Oil change

Used the for all 5 of our vehicles, very helpful and friendly. Honored warranty for screw in one of my tires. Wait times are reasonable compared to other similar sized tire shopsService: TiresService: Tires

All in all I have had great service at Walmart Auto. If you are getting tires it is very easy to place your tire order online then come to the shop for installation. The price typically can't be beaten. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five is the wait. If you aren't in line at least 30 minutes before they open you'll usually have to wait 2-3 hours at a minimum.

Dropped my car off at 7:30am for an oil change and 2 new tires. Was only supposed to be 2 1/2 hours. Give the guy all my info. 4 hours later, no phone call and no answer at the service center. So I go back. Find out they haven't done my oil change yet and one of the tires they rotated needed a repair. The manager said they called multiple times and couldn't get in touch with anyone. When I ask her what phone number they called, it wasn't right. She ask what my last name was, it wasn't right. So here I am setting here going on a hour for them to finish what could have been done hours ago if the young man checking people in hadn't made so many mistakes. I just hope the work they did isn't a reflection of they're service rep.

The people were super friendly but they seemed quite disorganized. I had to wait three hours to get my tires on and the next day my tire pressure light came on. Plus I had special tire caps for my old tires and they even kept them or threw them away.

Wal-Mart of course is always a great place. Most the time they honor their products and never give me a hard time about returns. The only problem in the tire and lube department is they are a little slow. I can understand if they are busy. But one tire to be replaced. 1 in front of us and 2 hours later. But its a great guarantee. And friendly service!!

After reviewing the comments it seems many people have encountered problems from here.Took 3 hours to get two tires on. They ended up cracking my rim with their machine and then turned around and said their wasn t enough evidence to prove it was the staff that done it. Asked if they could refund me the money for the $200 tires I just bought since I would now have to buy rims due to their neglect and they denied me that as well. Don t let them anywhere near your vehicle.

Despite walking inside to let them know we were there we still sat outside waiting on someone to see us under the pavilion for entirely too long. Even though they had the tire I needed for a great price I still ended up going else where due to wait times.

The only reason I give one star is because it won t let me give zero. This place is garbage. I normally do all the maintenance on my truck, but I took my truck here for an oil change in desperation due to time constraints. Truck ran beautifully before I took it in, NEVER had ANY issues with it. Not only did it take 2.5 hours just to change the oil, but apparently they let a trainee do it without telling me..... not sure what he did or what he added to the wrong place, but my trucks transmission went out before I even left the parking lot. Cost $3,500 to replace. I talked to every manager in the store and every one of them blew me off the service manager saying she checked his work and it was fine.... when I literally watched her walk out, start my truck, rev it up twice, then walk back inside. This place is a straight up joke with employees who are VERY rude, VERY uneducated, and VERY inexperienced on the stuff they re doing. The whole shop is pathetic, including the managers who refused to get me contact information for someone above them who might actually care. I also had a loaded gun in the truck that was played with and moved around during the oil change..... but I m sure all the managers watch their trainees closely.... don t waste your time and money like I did people, take your car to SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING.

I had a slow leak in my tire and thought I was going to have to take off from work to get it fixed. Luckily, on my hour and a half commute home, I discovered that Wal-Mart's Tire Center stays open until 7:00pm. I got in right around 5:30pm and was gone by 6:00pm. Everyone was very helpful and polite. It was a surprisingly great experience.

Some of the service technician are very good but the overall service is extremely poor due to Wal-Mart's management practices. If you want tires or an oil change, be prepared to wait 2+ hours. I've tried arriving 1 hour before they open only to find two people already in line. My wait was 1 hr and 45 minutes for a tire rotation. This place needs a major expansion of their work space, employees and hours of service. The service tech's also have no support from management when it comes to problem solving. I recently tried to get a tire puncture repaired and was told that their puncture repair machine broke a few days ago and they were waiting for a part....what!?!?!? COME ON GUYS!! YOU HAVE REPAIR KITS ON THE SHELF! A MACHINE IS NOT NEEDED! The only reason I didn't do it myself is because I paid extra for that service when I bought the tires. Why wasn't this addressed when the "machine" broke? Why did management not provide them with an alternative?

Horribly slow service! Many times i have sat in the pull in waiting area for 15-30 min before im helped or drove off while i can see employees looking like they are lost with nothing to do walking around inside. Today i came back for a flat repair and quoted 4 hrs! Many times iv had tires put on n quoted 2 hrs and more. Walmart is rediculous with help throughout the whole store! Only came here because i was broke down with a flat next door.

I bought tires about 3 weeks ago, then all of sudden my TPMS light comes on.They fixed it no charge, but the problem is oil all on my wheels, & door! They could atleast wear gloves, & wipe down the mess!

If I could give zero stars I would. Said it would be an hour and a half for two tires it was 3 and a half hours. Tabitha working the counter at the automotive area rudest cashier ever. Literally rolling her eyes at customers. Rudely answering questions like we were nothing her. I'm sorry my question was such a bummer on your day. Also talked to people like they were stupid. I will not be back because of her. I will take my car somewhere else to be serviced and you have that horrible personality named Tabitha to thank for that.

Shop preforms decent work for the dollar and those folks stay busy. If you think any shop should be able to change your oil and filter, rotate and balance tires and do an adequate vehicle inspection in an hour while serving other customers try doing it yourself. Good job Walmart automotive shop folks.

Not enough employees to handle to work load, which creates a ridiculous too long wait time! If you have to take your vehicle here, make plans to stay here for hours and hours, or have someone pick you up and drop you back off, when your car is ready for you.

Because I have a four-wheel drive they cannot sell me just 2 tires? I understand the mechanical implications putting wrong size tires or anything else that could possibly happen but who is Walmart to decide for me that I can't do that? Don't waste your money with Walmart tire and go to somebody local that doesn't have corporate policies that dictate their actions.

No sense of urgency. Shade tree mechanics at best. Worst experience I've ever had and the morbidly obese assistant manager could care less. Don't bother complaining to him he will just shrug you off and walk away. I will never go to this Walmart for anything.

I dont recommend using them for tires..had already bought two from em' for my Tahoe and went to buy other two and they wouldn't put them on because of tread- depth differential..still gotta pay someone else to mount and Balance them.. b.s., if you ask me.

Excruciatingly slow service here. I've been waiting well over 2 hours just for an oil change and tire rotation and they still aren't done. The techs are more interested in talking than working.

Went in for a battery at 7:30 am on a Thursday. Was told there were3 cars ahead of me and was told two hours as they only had two techs there.I left, came back three hours later and car still wasn't done. Waited 45 minutes, saw people come and go who were not there when I first came in. Asked a lady who was leaving what time she brought her car in and she said 9:45. It eventually took five hours to get my battery replaced.

After getting a flat in the middle of nowhere with no cell phone service I did what I has to do to get the tire to hold air (I have a mini compressor) Fixaflat alone didn't work so I put gorilla glue on the outside. I knew the tire would have to be replaced and I needed to get somewhere safe.I dropped off my car and had a coworker pick me up. After my shift I returned to Wal-Mart and was sitting outside having a cigarette watching them work on my car.The comments coming from the garage were inexcusable. "Some people shouldn't have a licence" Maybe we should just use duct tape to fix it, because thats how we do things in TN" and several other degrading comments.I admittedly lost it on the manager. I was exhausted physically and mentally from the night before and dealing with a loved ones medical condition. The staff did apologize and they gave me $50 off my bill, but I will NEVER step foot in the Dickson Wal-Mart for my personal shopping ever again.

They suck. They are slow and after 3 hours of waiting in like they told me they couldn't even change my tire. They are some of the dumbest mechanics you'll ever fined. If you like your car don't take it here
