On 3/29/24 I had my oil changed at this location. On 4/1/24 my engine went out. There was no drain plug. The manager at this location confirmed this on camera at my house. The area manager whom lied to get out of fixing my car has declined my claim. I would highly suggest to not use this location at all if you do not want your vehicle messed up. They will not pay to fix it. This place is a joke. I will have my attorney getting involved. Again do not come to this location for anything. They will mess up your vehicle. I would give this place a 0 star.

My visit today was awesome. I was met by Assistant Manager Steve-O, who welcomed me with a smile. We chit chatted about what my truck needed and Tim and Emma went to work topping off fluids and checking lights etc. There are four service bays at this location ensuring the wait for service was minimal.I will for sure return to the Valvoline location again.

I went in for a much needed oil change and not realizing they did radiator flushes as well they offered to do it for me and i accepted now im ready for summer, my car thanked me too, now running cooler. So worth it

Went to the Valvoline in Dickson, Tn. I usually go to Bellevue or Donelson.I pulled up and met Steve O, the assistant manager. There were 3 other vehicles in the shop area and we all were being worked on and moving smoothly. Very pleasant experience and out in 15 minutes. My New Oil Change Shop. Steve O was great.

I called to check the price and spoke with a gentleman who stated they were short staffed today, I believe it was Mike. I arrived to find they were quite busy. The same gentleman who assisted me on the phone was also the person to service my vehicle. Not only was he very helpful but had a great attitude and was friendly. I'll definitely be back to get my oil changed. Thank you guys!

Always fast, friendly and professional. Was asked by Noah if I had a coupon after my oil change and did not. He asked for and scanned my phone giving me 10.00 off. Being a senior citizen I really appreciate him going out of his way to do this. I always know when I leave that I have no worries about the service being done right.

I went here on 9/8/2019 to get just a regular oil change... the oil was changed but when I looked at my car after a little while i noticed that oil had been allowed to drip on the front of my car as well as their was a massive, oily handprint from where they had to re-shut my hood. If I hadn't seen it, this could've damaged the paint on my brand new car if left unattended. Not acceptable when charging customers minimum $50 for just conventional oil change (not even synthetic)...

Brought my 2020 VW Jetta in for an Oil change even did a few added services. The next day I went to open the hood and to my surprise it would pop open. Brought it back by the following day and they couldn t open it either so I had to bring it to the dealer. A little over 700.00 dollars later the dealer told me the latch was broken. Mind you this car is only 2 years old with 50k miles the hoods been open roughly 6 times in it life. Worked fine when I took it into Valvoline I left it was broken. My advise don t go to this location as. As Valvoline refused to pay for the repairs said it was not their fault by disagree especially that a hood would break after being opens only 6 times. I ll be taking my 3 vehicle else where for service from now on. SMH would give 0 stars if it would let me.Service: Oil change

As much as I hate to say this, I am not too happy with the services here. My wife and I have been coming here for almost 4 years now and have them perform an oil change, air filter replacements and wipers on our vehicles. I have done my own oil changes for about 10 years and just didn't have the time to do it anymore so went to these guys. One day last month I decided to get underneath both of our vehicles because the car started to chug and overheat and come to find out there was oil all over, (no seals worn) underneath and on top of the engine under the engine cover, clips broken off, bolts missing, skid plate barely hanging on and oil dripping down the side of the oil pan. I was under the impression that they did an "inspection" but doesn't seem that way.I decided to drain the oil and not even kidding I got about 1 quart of oil out of the vehicle that requires 4.3 quarts... I'm just wondering how long this has been going on and why didn't anyone say something about our oil consumption? looks like I am back to doing my own oil changes...Service: Oil change

The service took about 45 minutes, but the guy that checked you in must of been having a bad day. He was complaining only 2 bays open, only 3 people working everyone else called in, it going to take a while to get to you, only 1 care in front of me, and he acted like he didn't want to do my oil change.

Prices are as expected, but having a coupon available is always nice! The 2 gents working alone today did great considering how busy it was. They set real expectations and met them and that was appreciated. Steve-O has exceptional customer service skills!

I get 2 free oil changes with my car for 2 years but the company that it is with wants me to leave my car there overnight. I don't have time for that. I tried 3 different ones in different cities and they all wanted my car over night. I googled oil change places in our new town and Valvoline came up. My whole family can stay in our car and in less then 20 mins we are done and back on the road. Long story short I would rather pay for my oil change and get faster service. They hold good conversations too. My husband brought his car after I took mine. Both times were super fast. We also love the online coupons so we can afford to get our oil changed more often because we drive a lot on the highway.

I know absolutely nothing about cars, they could have told me I needed 14k Gold to run my engine and I d be like.. ok yea that sounds true let s do it. Johnny helped me this morning and he answered all my dumb questions and didn t try to get me to buy anything I didn t need which I really appreciate. I also respect the fact that he didn t laugh at me when I turned the wipers on instead of the turn signal, and couldn t find the latch to open the hood. He also explained something about mileage with my current engine or something.. I didn t understand any of it but thank you for trying. I highly recommend this location- fast, friendly and most importantly HONEST service! See you guys in 5,000 miles :-)Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Their service is great. They did the oil change fast. But, make sure you check to see if they ACTUALLY checked your transmission fluid. They put on my maintenance checks that all the fluid levels were checked and they were okay. I checked my transmission fluid level the day after and mine was really low. Not a big issue, but they could at least checked it and told me it was low. Still recommend their service. Just double check your fluids after the service.Service: Oil change

I've used their oil change service a few times before. They have an odd practice I have never seen at the dozens of oil change places I have used over nearly 40 years now. They stick a little metal box in the window for you to turn over your car keys while they work on it. I did that the first time but the other visits I declined and it wasn't required. Today he asked for my keys and I said, "If you can't trust me not to start my car while you're working on it then I can't trust you to work on my car." Without hesitation or any attempt to explain the odd policy, he quickly said to the person at the front of the car "Hood Down" and a 'have a good day' to me while getting the door open for me to leave. If there is an argument to be made for why I should turn over my car keys while they work on my car I can't imagine what it is. I was extremely disappointed, especially in the attitude of the man waiting on me. I'll search and find somewhere else to go, somewhere that trusts me enough to know better than to start my car when there is no oil in it!UPDATE: I won't be calling your customer care line since I'm not interested in a discount or free offer because of my experience since I will never return to your business. Your reply suggests that indeed this IS a policy of yours and like I told him that day, "If you can't trust me not to start my car while you're working on it then I can't trust you to work on my car." A simple verbal reminder to the driver NOT to start their car during the oil change should be sufficient to address whatever problem this policy was intended to address. To stick that little box in my face for me to deposit my keys in says loud and clear, "We think you're so dumb this is the only way to keep you from starting your car while we work on!"

You would figure after paying $83 for an oil change that took 10 minutes the techs could at least do the bare minimum that they are supposed to do.I overpaid for convenience of not waiting in a lobby which is fine. However, as part of the inspection of the vehicle I figured I would knock out two things at once and get my tires inflated since my light was on.During the oil change, I asked the tech (possibly the head) if air pressure check would be included. His response was they were going to do it momentarily. Great!!! 5 minutes later they tell me they are going to show me the oil stick and get me on my way. I paid and asked again if the tire pressure was checked. The tech informed me they took care of it and the light will go off after driving it. I didn t see anyone or hear the air compressor but I trusted him (even though I know my light goes off instantly).24 hours later and 200 miles driven the light is still on. I pull in to a digital air pump. The tires are supposed to be at 35 for front and rear. My readings were 27psi, 28psi, 31psi, 25psi. I filled each to 35psi and the light went off before I can pull away.I was blatantly lied to. As a business owner in Dickson I would not tolerate my employees lying to my customers. I guess the job market is so bad right now, that Valvoline is ok with their employees being lazy and lying to customers.Never again!

My experience was great the employees gave me great service with changing my oil and air filter they answered all of the questions I had concerning my vehicle. Helpful and friendly techs. Fast service. We stayed in our car the entire time and were there less than 15 minutes, which is way less time than I usually spend when I get my oil changed. If I lived in the area, I would definitely go there again.

Best oil place I've ever been to, the techs know what they are doing, and they do it in a timely manner. It really felt like a valvoline instant oil change. They were super helpful and gave me suggestions on the recommendations for my vehicle. Hands down this is where you need your oil changed.

I'm so glad you said something! I'm not sure how that happened but I meant to give a 3 not a 2 star! Employees were super nice! The only reason I gave a 3 instead of a 5 is I was denied the privilege of using your services as I came back twice and you still did not have the products necessary to do the job.

I have nothing but goid things to say about these guys. Very professional! They had a hell of a time getting this plug out because the dealership stripped it out. They didn't give up. They worked together and the got it out. Thank you!
