Needed a new battery installed. I went to autozone first, they quickly denied my request so i decided to check in with Advance. Shawn was more than happy to help. He installed the battery quickly and was such a genuinely nice guy. He was so helpful. Would definitely recommend Advance to anyone. I will be going back to Advanced for any future needs. Best customer service experience at an auto parts store!

I went into the Dayton Tn store a few days ago needing help to switch out my tag on my car. I didn't know if they helped with that type of thing but Shawn came right out to change it for me and was so nice! Thank you!

Had a question on by battery and Shawn (Pleasant to work with kind of guy) tested it and noted no new battery needed at this time and cleaned it off. Yep, honest answer to simple question. Yep, this is where I have bought, and will continue to buy batteries etc.

Went in to take a UPS return package and there were two guys working and one customer at the desk, which was not discussing a part just shooting the breeze, the first guy no acknowledgment at all, so I said hi, still no response and he looked straight at me! Next guy behind the counter didn t ask anything at all, I finally asked is this the drop off for UPS, he reluctantly took my package. I will never return to this store for anything, terrible customer service!

Extremely SLOW! I think the employee SOP is too hide in the back and wander to the front every so often. I have never been greeted by anyone here, and usually the store feels deserted. If there is a customer in front of you, expect it to take at least ten minutes for him to checkout. Certainly, their service is better than O'Reilly's (where they actively ignore you), but even when just dropping-off a package, some time needs to be blocked-off whenever you visit this store.

Went to O Reillys. They denied me, went to AutoZone. They denied me came to advance, and Shawn had my battery changed in a matter of 15 minutes very pleased!!!

Advance in Dayton, Tennessee, I ve been there twice since I ve moved here and it s the worst service and attitudes when you walk in the store. The prices are higher than AutoZone and O Reilly s, and those employees will come out and help you put your wiper blades on run a diagnostics on your car. They go above and beyond their jobs for a lesser price. If you are a female, I do not recommend going to this auto parts store because they do not help you no matter your gender or your knowledge. Worst customer service I have ever seen in any retail.

They lost my business. Was being helped finally after about 30 minutes or waiting then had to grab my phone since they can't find the right part. While it took me all of 10 seconds to get my phone the lady was already helping someone else and there I stood waiting forever again. So I walked out and I'll never go back. O'Reilly's is way better and knows how to look up parts.

Went to get a new battery because mine is shot. They tested the battery and my alternator, said my alternator was bad when the reading it gave was perfect and would not give me a new battery. Continued to blame other parts for the issue.

Went In for some coil packs but told they don't carry the pack of eight available at other retailers that averages at about $200 instead wanted me to buy individuals that cost $54 each. Think I'll stick with Amazon

I come here to get my car needs, wipers etc...They're friendly and helpful and never ask me to change my own wiper blades haha... Products are up to date and neatly stored, have no problems finding things. If I need help they're right there helping me to find everything that I may need..

Many times short handed or employees busy doing other things than tending the counter. Yesterday eight people in line and one new person tending the counter. Luckily a second employee showed up and he helped me. If you have a choice choose Derik. He is well knowledgable, knows the computer system inside and out for them special tasks and very eager to make you happy. I always look for him.

I went to this Advance Auto to pick up some radiator fluid and power steering fluid, I noticed 4 employees inside the store but when I was ready to check out not one came to ring up the items and the Manger along with another employee seen me waiting. I left the items on the counter and went to O'Reilly's Auto Parts. I guess Advance doesn't need the business.

Had a busted radiator in my Dodge Cummins and they were the only ones around who had one.They held the radiator for me till I got there.Very knowledgeable staff and great prices.Was in and out very quickly.
