Looks like a great place. I have never been here before but I like the sign. It just screams good service. The lettering and the colors are just wow. Who wouldn't take their car over to Tate's. I would if I lived anywhere close to cross planes. But I don't unfortunately.

They are friendly and honest. They diagnosed the problem and gave me repair recommendations. They weren't able to find a new motor but let me leave my car until I could haul it away. They helped me load the car on to the trailer. They did not charge anything, but I left a tip

Thanks for getting us back on the road so efficiently after we got stuck with windshield wiper problems (frozen wiper arm) during horrible Jonas storm. You could have charged much more under the circumstances but you did not and were very reasonable. We made it safely to our destination thanks to you.

Now that Gordon s passed away the fastest way to get screwed is dealing with Tate automotive Rodney will screw you in a heartbeat. I wouldn t recommend my dog to get his nails cut there especially take a vehicle that I depend on taking care of my family because they ll screw you out of your vehicle and everything else

I've done business with Tate several times over the years. Rodney is one of the best mechanics around, not mention the nicest. Always satisfied and the prices are very reasonable.

I have not used them for auto related repairs, but I have taken them (at seperate times) a tiller and a chainsaw. They are a bit slow and need to be "encouraged" with a phone call or two asking for a status report, but the quality of work is very good, the prices are excellent, they are nice people, and -at least for me- its much more convienient than going to a larger town like whitehouse, Franklin, or Portland. Overall, I recommend them for small engine repair.

After one hundred years if service, Tate still provides the best in quality automotive repair service. The store has kept up with the ongoing technology and still provides the old fashion service.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Went in for a lawnmower belt and they didn't give up on finding for me. Extremely friendly folks!

They turned me down on working on a ford 8.8 rearend because he didnt want to clean it. He said it was too much labor. Very disappointed

Just ask for a rate to tow a vehicle from Bethpage to Cross Plains and they said $200 to $250. Definitely not recommended this service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
