Coty has worked on one of our vehicles and each time he did an amazing job. Very quick and very reasonable on his pricing. We finally found a mechanic who doesn t rip people off and cares about his work. Highly recommended

I reached out to him since I have known his wife since childhood and they are from my same small hometown. He was very trustworthy, kind and reliable. He started out working on vehicles at his shop beside his house. I took my Jeep there after numerous auto repair shops were quoting me OUTRAGEOUS prices. He told me exactly what was wrong, what parts were needed and stayed in touch with me with his progress. The repairs were quickly and cost efficient. 2 THUMBS UP!!

Coty is great! He has worked on multiple vehicles for me and has one of mine right now and I know it s in great hands! From ac work, installing driveshafts, oil changes, etc. he has done it all for me. Do not hesitate to call Specks auto repair if you need anything done at all! Thanks again Coty for all that you do!

I moved to the area in 2017 and needed to find someone to work on my vehicles. A diesel pickup and an OLD jeep wrangler. Coty responded to a post on Facebook and offered to work with me on pricing. He is a good ole country boy who loves to work on cars. This was before he had his shop in it's current location and was working out of the shop at his house. He would let me bring something by for a quick fix at 7 pm and crawl under my truck in the dark. He cares about his customers! He is a genuine guy and very fair on prices. He is ASE certified and very knowledgeable on cars and diesels. He's even learned a thing or 2 about old jeeps for me! There's nothing I wouldn't trust him to work on for me and he's always willing to give advice when I'm trying to do things myself! I just wish his new shop was closer to my house!

Wonderful experience with Coty he changed out a motor in my 2006 Ford F-150 5.4 several years ago . So far so good no complaints he s definitely a true trustworthy mechanic within our local community !!! RAFox

Both Cody Speck s customer service and auto repair services are excellent. Previously he gave my husband advice, that worked about an issue we were having with oil usage, and he also changed my truck s motor mounts at a reasonable price (way less than dealership was going to charge).Today, we are broke down in Oklahoma and Cody once again helped us out!!Give Cody a call for your automotive repairs; he will treat you right!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Coty is the one and only mechanic I ve ever worked with who I feel absolutely comfortable going to by myself (you other females probably understand the struggle with the blatant dishonesty from a lot of other car shops out there.) It s a rarity to find such an honest mechanic who won t over-sell or over-diagnose, but will fix what needs fixing and will do it right every time and in a timely manner. He s taken the time to educate me every time my car needs work and will patiently answer all of my (probably annoying ) questions. I ve been pretty shocked since working with Coty and truly see now how frequently I ve been flat out lied to and taken advantage of by past car shops. He and his crew are hands-down the best and I couldn t recommend them enough. Speck s has a loyal and lifetime customer in us!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine tuning, Brakes

I ran across a repair shop today that made me shake my head in disbelief over the ability and integrity of Specks Auto Repair on Trotwood in Columbia Tn! The shop was reasonable and I watched the skills happening and I haven't seen that since wearing a uniform! I went to this mechanic, Coty, after twice having others try and fix my truck with no success and spending lots of money. He was able to fix the problem in one day and his prices are very fair. I would highly recommend him. My only regret is I didn t find him over a year ago.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I took my car in for multiple repairs. The cost was affordable. The four problems repaired would have cost me 3X more by another mechanic I use to go to. Great experience using Mr. Speck's business. He and his guys were easy to deal with, honest and took the time to explain to this idiot what was wrong. Problem is 100% fixed. Stopped everything he was working on to assist me with getting u-joints swapped in my Cummins drive shaft very friendly clean shop if you were to ask me about what shops and take my car to I would refer you to specks auto repair in Columbia tn
