Purchased a $200.00 Battery, & asked to have it installed, along with an oil change. They changed the oil, but Tech 'Did not feel comfortable' installing the battery. He said it had wires going to it. I took the battery home & installed myself. While installing battery, I noticed oil on the floor. I looked under vehicle and seen oil dripping from oil pan drain plug. I wiped the oil, but it continued to leak. I realized the drain plug very loose, I could turn it with my hand. They also over serviced the oil, well above the full mark on the dip stick.Avoid Walmart Auto Care.

Please be wary of going up here and getting anything done. I had a nightmare of an experience yesterday. Not only did the last time I got tires put on here. The workers didn t put the the oem gorilla spline black lug nuts back on. I bought four tires here in the last year. 2 of them I bought within the last three months and bought road hazard warranty because I was offered it. I had to buy them online and get them shipped there to get them put on because of the size. They didn t have them when I called up there. So on a Sunday, which was yesterday I called up there around 3:30 and ask them when they closed which I knew it was 6 o clock because I checked and the guy said let me check I think everyone s leaving. He came back to the phone and he said are u close and I said why does that matter you don t close till 6 well, I guess we re gonna leave and I said well I m very close. He told me to hurry up!!!! Even though they didn t close till 6 PM. When I got up there, they told me there was nothing they could do because I bought the tire online even though they sold me road hazard warranty. The damage was on the inner wall. It was like I was asking for a trip to the moon to get help from anyone. I was up there for 2 hours and left with no new tire, on a spare, no antilock nuts. I have contacted someone very high up to inform them on this matter. Do not go this auto center.!!!!! This is me trying to save you nightmare of a day. The fact they lied about the time the closed should of warned me. This is the kicker when the guy came over and asked me where to put my damaged tire I said the trunk of the car the worker threw in my trunk on top of mat and broke my mat that goes over the spare. Im furious!!! Why is it so hard to for human beings to do the right thing anymore!!! I have contacted higher ups. No one should have to go through this. Shameful. Do not go here. I will say Mrs Kathy was the only one willing to even try to help me. She was understanding and was trying to do what she could. She is replacing the lug nuts for me. So since this review I went at straight to the top and had to tell my story several times but let me tell you they took this seriously and reimbursed me for the tire, mounting the tire, and the lug nuts I had to purchase. So if u ever truly feel like u have not been done right as a customer take it to the top and they will listen and try to fix the situation as soon as they hear of it.

I d gotten a tire replaced here a month ago after the ice storm, I had a warranty on the tire and this Monday I busted that tire hitting a curb (oops). I originally called the Walmart closer to my house (Winchester) and they told me I had to order my tire online yet Raven, the manager at Collierville had ordered it for me and shipped it to the store just a month prior. So I did what they said and had it shipped. It came in around 4pm on Wednesday. I zoomed home and called Collierville to see if they could squeeze me in cause at this point it was almost 5pm. Raven worked to get me in and get my tire fixed. Everything was going fine until it came to the warranty and refund. Ms. Matilda, Ms. Melanie, Terrance and two other gentlemen whose names I didn t get, were BEYOND helpful! They really went above and beyond for me to work out the issues with the warranty and make sure I was taken care of and everything was done properly. At the end of the day I only spent $48! They were all so kind and patient staying well after the auto center had closed to make sure everything was done correctly. Not sure if it s Walmarts training (doubt it) or if this group happened to be some of the nicest people I d never encountered but it was a 10/10 experience. Their costumer service was amazing and I truly appreciate everything they did for me that evening. Thanks again to Ms. Melanie, Ms. Matilda, Terrance and the other two guys! Y all were great!Service: Tires

If during the time I open my browser (with the phone still ringing after 22 rings - yes, I counted), I find the place to leave this comment and they STILL can't answer the phone at 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon, I'm not about to let them so much as touch my vehicle. Fat chance I'd have finding out if it was ready if I DID make the mistake. Buh, bye Walmart.

The woman behind the counter was fine but just changing my oil and rotating my tires took them 3 freaking hours! The car was dirty with oil grease and the seat was still moved back when I got in. It's ridiculous. I'm definitely never coming back here.

Ordered the tires online from walmart.com. Scheduled appointment online for change. I reached in time. They could not find the tires. Made me shuttle between auto center and customer service many times. Finally, found tires. Then they told me they would not honor online appointments on Walmart app or website. The entire ordeal took 2 hours. Poor service quality.Note: There was one female employee in the auto section (Denise). She was the only exception to mediocrity.

Got to this unorganized place at 6:20am. Place opens at 7:00am. Need an oil change. I get the first place in line just outside the garage entrance door to be signed in 1st. I watched two weasel customers park in the customer parking twenty minutes later and enter into the building in different doors. I didn t know till 7:00 when they opened the car care entrance door that those two weasels were in line in front of me. I surely thought that I would be served first since it was apparently clear that I was the first in line. The Walmart staff moved my car out of the way and served the two weasels first. I complained to the highly intelligent attendant but was told that they had to take customers in the place entered into the computer. Just shows how discourteous people can be and just how the highly intelligent Walmart staff handles there business.

OMG!!! I have just had the most amazing experience at Wal-mart. 1) The phone was answered when I called, and the lady was VERY helpful. She forewarned me that my car would not be ready until 6:00, and I decided to go any way. (I appreciated the heads up.) 2) Once I got there, Ms. Denise even remembered my voice and mentioned, "I think I just spoke to you." She then forewarned me about the wait again. She assisted me with the most pleasant attitude, but she also verified my tire warranty and made a copy for me to keep for reference. Wal-Mart, you have a real jewel with Denise in auto at the Collierville, TN Wal-Mart. You will see this post in multiple places because I want to make sure she gets the recognition she truly deserves. Thank you, Ms. Denise!!!

So a couple of weeks ago (7/12/19) I ordered some tires from Walmart's website. I arrived the following morning to pick them up. To the tire center. Because I bought tires. I was then asked "Did you go to the front of the store and CLAIM your tires?" To which I responded "No. I came to the tire center. Because you know... I bought tires".I then go to the front to claim my tires only to be told they weren't there yet. So I verified that it would be faster for me to just cancel that order and purchase ones they did have. So I made my purchase, and even though i arrived around 730, didn't get to place my order until nearly 830. So there were two more people in front of me getting tires. It took over 4 hours to get my tires put on. Two people. 4 hours. So fast forward to this morning. I walk out to a flat tire. Well its incredibly inconvenient, but at least I paid the extra $10 a tire to get the road hazard warranty, right? So I air it up with the little air pump, because apparently new cars don't need spare tires, only slow pumping air compressors. It holds, so I take the boy to school and go to work. Lunchtime rolls around and instead of going to eat I went back to Walmart. The same place I bought them.I'm then told "Unfortunately, I can't take your ticket right now. We're at a 4-5 hour wait and we have to let the techs get caught up."Now this is a tire plug. Not an engine overhaul.I informed them they should stop selling a warranty if they aren't prepared to honor it. I then drove to the next Walmart. Watching my PSI go down as I go. I arrive at another Walmart and I'm told it'll be at least 5 hours. So I would have to take the day off to get my tire plugged.I went to Pep Boys on Mt. Moriah. They had it done in about an hour.Moral of the story. Never go to Walmart for anything besides groceries and contact lenses. Go to Pep Boys.

Website says they're open til 7:00pm. Google says they're open til 7:00pm. There were 5 cars in the parking lot outside, and only 2 in the shop. It was 2:00pm. The ladies at the service desk ignored us for 20 minutes, and then finally told us that they can't take any more cars today. This place sucks.

Called to see about getting tires today. After 12 rings, abruptly put on hold when someone said please hold . Phone proceeded to play lame music and screetching noise like I had called their fax number. There are so many other options with better reviews. I don t need this.

I'll give them 3 stars because the people were nice and they did give me updates on my vehicle but I had to wait over 2 1/2 hours just to get my 2 front tires balanced. Maybe it was just one of those days...
