This used to be my go to spot, but last 3 times I went and waited to find out they didn t have oil for my Chevy equinox. Extremely frustrating. Should have learned my lesson sooner. They should absolutely do better at keeping their oil stocked. I ll be going to take 5 from now on.

Love the collierville location. Staffs are always so nice and really respectful. They are knowledgeable in what they do as well as making sure you get the most out of your car.

I typically take my car to the dealership but was in a pinch and gave this Valvoline Instant Oil Change a try. It was a pleasant experience! The team was very customer service oriented, friendly, and efficient. Super impressed by their efficiencies and the fact I was able to get in and out.

Got my oil change here and everyone was soooo nice. Nick was especially great! He explained everything to me and was sooo kind and patient. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE!!!!Thank you!!!!

Watch out for what these people are not suppose to do while performing a simple oil+filter change job....Recently they took off main air hose going into the engine(in Photo) and make my car started popping "Check Engine Light" and "Vehicle Stability Control Off" light. I had to spent time & money for preliminary diagnosis before I realize this blunder. Really disappointed. Will definitely not go there again.

This place has gone downhill over the past year. They will get you in and out fast; however, in their haste they become careless and neglect to put parts back on your car the way they found them. I'll just do my own oil changes from now on.

Truly the worst experience I ve had in awhile. The employee treats you like you re a pet, telling you to back off without any sign of humility to humanity. I understand people don t like working there at times but it s just plain rude. Will never suggest this place to others.

When I pulled in, the technician was not clear which bay he wanted me in. He acted like it was an inconvenience when I told him I couldn t tell where he was directing me. He pulled me into a bay with 2 large humps and my truck was not level, how do you tell if the oil level was correct if my truck was on a 22 degree angle. The employees were talking about lawn mowers and what they were doing after work. The oil the guy was using was off colored and looked used. When I asked him, he That s that good oil and laughed. The guy actually changing my oil was asking a thousand questions, the guy that checked my tire pressure asked me if 35 was alright. How do I know, you re the professionals, you should tell me if it s alright. I left not feeling confident at all with the oil change, I went straight to another place and had it redone. Wasted $125 but never again!Service: Oil change

They were professional and I was confident in their skill and ability to do an oil change correctly. Also. They checked the air filters and showed you any filter that needed replacing. I think I was in and out in about 15 minutes. The convenience and quick time to service a car is more expensive than a regular garage. In our case. It was worth it.

Just moved in from GA, getting oil changed on 2012 Passat was a breeze down there.Arrived at Valvoline and they didn't carry oil or filter for this car? Ok, let's go to Autozone next door. Folks, AVOID AUTOZONE at all costs. If it is not in the computer they can not find what you need. Went to O'Reilly and they had it all. Went back to original oil change location and finally got it done. Learning in Tennessee to carry filter and oil after unsuccessfully trying 3 oil change locations in last week in Tennessee.

This is the only place we want an oil change from. They're polite, professional and very good at providing rapid service. Why in the world would you go drop your car off and wait for hours somewhere when you could go to these folks??Update: 3/4/2023: still awesome

I called with concerns about the type of oil I've used in my truck for the past 2 years, they told me I can bring my own oil and filter to use. I was glad and surprised they offered this service. Great service at this location.

Lunch break today. 98 degrees outside. Never had to leave my car and got my oil, wipers, filter, and air filter swapped in about 16 minutes flat and that was with me having to register as a first time customer. Great customer service, good humored employees. Nice to have the cameras to where you can watch the work happening so there are no doubts. Will be returning here every 3000 miles.

The customer service was great. No one tried to persuade or pressure me into any services when offering recommendations regardingmy car's needs. Overall, I felt very comfortable letting them service my car and I will return!

They'll damage your vehicle and refuse to fix it!! A few months ago they did an oil change in my 2019 4runner. They replaced the skid plate with only 1 out of 4 bolts, snapped off 2 bolts in the frame. At first they tried getting me to pay a shop to remove the bolts and now they've been giving me the run around for over a month. Every time I call it's the same story, obviously I need to get local news and a lawyer involved.Service: Oil change

This is the worst experience on Valvoline I have had. Please do not go to this location. Employees are incapable of working sincerely. Stop chit chatting with people about NFL games and start focusing on work. Filled oil more than required limit and my car was coughing smoke through out. Kindly do not go to this location. The employees in this location need to be replaced.

Absolutely horrible. It took them 40 minutes to work on one car. It's called Valvoline INSTANT oil change for a reason. I left. I'll stick to my regular location in collierville. They're awesome. ******Update on review**** this was for the location on Winchester!!! Not on W Poplar. I cannot change the location on the review. I went to both that day because W poplar didn't have my filter, so I headed to Winchester where I waited so long before leaving. So sorry for the wrong review!

My wife ripped off again with unneeded service.Fuel system cleaner!vNO NO NO.I HATE THESE PLACES AND DON'T KNOW WHY they get the reviews they do.

Went to get my oil changed Friday morning at 7:15. The store says it opens at 7:00 upon arriving there is one persons there who informs me he cannot get started until the other employees get there and they are 30 minutes out. I return the next day get my oil changed, they then inform me the oil changes is $70. I did not ask for top of the oil nor did I want it. The guy did take $20 off but I feel like I should have been informed about the price prior to the service as I told them when I got there that I only wanted a basic oil change.

Usually you get what you need, a quick oil change and maybe a tire rotation. Took my Ford Escape by there for both recently. Turns out my car has a splash guard that needs to be removed to change oil and filter. How do I know this? Because the splash guard was dragging ground, throwing debris (including rocks which cracked my windshield). No fasteners to be found! I had to take off to prevent further damage. Now I need a new windshield and take the time to put the splash guard back on. Very inconvenient. How does this happen? Was the filter put on correctly? Plug?

Talk about honest employees... they work at Valvoline! Went by the store in Collierville after church. Wish I had gotten his name but he showed me where it was posted on CarMax that Winchester Tire Company had changed the oil in my car when I had purchased a tire due to an emergency (plus one of my sons paid the invoice so I had no clue the oil had been changed. They just forgot to reset the counter. I was elated to know that honest people still exist! YOU CAN TRUST YOUR CAR TO VALVOLINE IN COLLIERVILLE!

After finding out about a last minute work trip, I rushed to my nearest Valvoline to get an oil change - arriving five minutes before closing time. Joseph, Joe, and Mr.E went out of their way to service me, and they did so with a smile. I really appreciate their kindness and also the wonderful customer service they provided me. Thank you!!!

Different experience every time. Usually quick and professionalEmployee turnover is high. Went a week ago, they refused to service my vehicle saying blown gaskets when I told them it's only a power steering leak. Got it serviced today somewhere else and they said I was correctWhy the ignorant ways that cost this business money??

Still doubtful with my car service. They change my car oil and put someone else mileage reading on my wind shield and when I revisited them they are saying stills 2 more months to go but they doesn't know how many miles left for next oil change. I am worried because I travel long distance on daily basis and almost three month gone after the last fuel change. I think, I just simply wasted my time and money and top of that got stress and my car engine at risk too.
