I brought my vehicle in to find out about a code regarding the EVAC system. They tried to tell me basically all the parts needed replaced and the mark up on said parts was ridiculous. They obviously couldn t find what was wrong and wanted a blanket fix for over $2k. They questioned why I wanted to speak to the technician. They didn t want to print me off an itemized list of the estimate either. I took it somewhere else and they found that only one part was broken and everything else looked good. Where I took it didn t mark the parts up by 50%+ either.Christian brothers also didn t close my hood all the way and I had to pull over and do it myself.$400 fix where I took it to.I believe Christian brothers preys on the elderly and women who don t know about cars and don t think to go elsewhere for a second opinion. Their desk guy admitted to not knowing anything about cars too which is always a bad sign. I m glad I m not some fool of a woman they took me to be.Take your car somewhere else.

It's so rare and special to find a car shop you trust, and Christian Brothers Automotive Collierville is the best shop I've ever worked with. They treated me and my old car with the utmost respect and fairness and somehow kept my car going for another year. From their fair prices and online quotes to their convenient shuttle, working with their team was always a pleasure. I'm sad to be moving, mostly because I won't be able to bring my car to them any more!

Would give them 1 star but the front desk guy was nice. They had my car all day to find 10 things I did not ask them to fix in the first place. Then wanted to charge me 4 hrs labor/$600 to just look at the thing I wanted to look at in the first place. Don't waste your time. Oh and they still charged me $165 for the diagnostic service.

Everything about CBA was outstanding: Dropoff, Process During, and Pickup. Prices were fair and I felt extremely confident about the quality of work. The detailed checklist is what sells, it left me with no questions other than approve or deny the task required. The 80 point inspection is what will keep my business here moving forward. I will now leave my dealership I have been using for the last 6 years for this incredible place.

Best and most trusted auto shop in Memphis. Chad Johnson was recommended to me by Landers Dodge. And from the first contact via phone through to the work completed on our car, the experience was professional. I will return for a full diagnostic. So hard to find professionals who do good work, are respectful and don't overcharge. They are amazing. Recommend with no reservations.

TLDR: A noisy wheel hub was replaced by CBA. After some time when the same wheel hub went bad, they quoted prohibitively high prices. I got the wheel hub assembly replaced by the dealer.In June 2022, I took my 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid (ODO: 153737) for an issue with grinding noise while turning the car right. CBA came up with all sorts of issues with the car, namely: wheel hub, sway bar links, valve cover gasket. I just asked them to replace the drivers front wheel hub. They replaced it the same day and returned it in the evening. The invoice RO#44510 amount: 841.49 (includes oil change, taxes)Some months down the line, I hear a faint grinding noise coming from the drivers front wheel. The noise grew as time progressed until it was clear it is a problem. The grinding noise would come when driving straight, increase when turning left, but would fade when turning right. Talking to a friend over dinner, he analyzes it is the wheel bearing gone bad. But how could it? Since I just changed it some time back. Did CBA do a shoddy job? So, I asked around for wheel hub assembly cost replacement. Most repair shops insist to get the car in.In Feb 2024, I took the car again to CBA (ODO: 158893) and told them the grinding noise coming from the driver front wheel. After keeping the car overnight, they came up with the problem that both wheel bearings have gone bad and have heated the CV joint. CBA recommended to replace CB axles and both wheel bearings.The estimate:1. Replace wheel bearing/Hub Assembly: $2321.752. Replace CV Axle: $1572.743. Alignment Services **requred w/ Axle/Hub Replacement: $131.654. Comprehension Inspection: 76.835. RO fees: $4.90Total: 4107.87 (before taxes)That's more than the value of the car! I declined all, paid for the assessment (RO#53969): $82.20, collected my car and drove as fast as my noisy car could take me out of there.Two days later, I get a courtesy call from a lady from CBA. Fortunately, I was in my car and had access to the invoices/estimates. I explain the problem is in the same hub bearing which was replaced. I quote the previous invoice from June 2022 and amount and tell her this has been "fixed" by CBA and I will be going to another workshop. She said she will provide my feedback to the engineer.I take an appointment with Wolfchase Toyota (AKA Penske) for the wheel hub assembly change. They asked for some time to get the parts and setup the appointment (surprised that CBA never asked for time for acquiring parts). Wolfchase Toyota also tries to sell me both front wheel hubs (and quotes it) but I deny it. This becomes important later. Wolfchase Toyota changed the wheel hub bearing for $1053 (includes oil change, taxes). They also offered to buy my car! Driving home, I could finally hear the music from the radio! Most of all, my hypothesis was correct.On a CBA feedback form, I give a low score mentioning that it is the same wheel hub which was replaced a year and a half back. I get a call from Chad. He says he wants to make things right and asks for the cost and scans of the invoice of the bill from WT, which I e-mail immediately.After two days, Chad asks me to call him on a recorded line. As we speak, I wanted to take the conversation on facts and numbers while he was trying to obfuscate on how they have been unfairly treated and how they have such a good review and their service and prices are better than the dealers. He mentions he talked to WT to get the faulty part back so he can claim warranty on it. On fairness, I tried to point out that their costs of changing both wheel hubs was so prohibitively expensive as compared to a dealer, if we just double the cost of one wheel hub assembly change at WT (851 x 2) and compare with CBA s quote. It is still a nice difference of more than 500 dollars! He mumbled something about how cost of replacing both is more than replacing one wheel hub assembly (hmm, WT had quoted for two wheel hubs as well). Ends the call faster than I could say bye.I don't think I will be going back to CBA again.

Great experience with knowledgeable, friendly staff. Stalls were kept very clean and the mechanics keep there bench & tools clean-this says a lot about a mechanic IMHO. Nice waiting room w/Wifi to boot!

These guys are really great. My A/C repair/recharge was done quickly and honestly. I took them some parts that I thought would be needed and they said that I didn't need to replace what I thought was a damaged condenser. They could have made some extra labor time replacing it and a receiver/dryer but didn't. On past jobs they have given me the choice of making repairs that would just "get me by" or doing more to fix it for the long run. Good people that aren't trying to make a killing off of you but really trying to fix your car in a cost effective way. I will continue to go back to them to do repairs I can't do myself.Oh, they also have a shuttle service like the dealerships have and will take you home and come and get you if you need them to. Mike, Brett, and the entire team worked very hard, never gave up on a very complicated electrical issue on my Silverado. They were amazing and repaired the issue and I did not have to file bankruptcy to pay. Thank you to everyone involved in repairing my truck. Highly recommend.

Service manager Brett really goes above and beyond in order to achieve the best solution for his customer. This is a solid crew that cares about their customers and works with everyone to make the best possible decision for necessary repairs for each individual they serve. Glad to have the Benz back on the road and thankful that Brett is experienced with European vehicle computers. He replaced the Intelligent Servo Module and was able to program it to the vehicle. The car wouldn't shift after starting it, then immediately after turning it off and trying to crank it would not, towed it to CBA, received diagnosis, and once the module arrived and was replaced the car came back to life! So glad it wasn't the transmission that failed! Excellent job guys!

They even delivered my car to my house since I could get it. The only negative I can think of is they are so busy. People seek after dependable service though. Christian Brothers Automotive were very thorough and explained everything in easy to understand terms. They were always very polite and respectful. They did find other things that I didn t know about that will need to be repaired, but they didn t push or use scare tactics to make me get them done right then. They even made a follow up courtesy call to make sure everything was still going well on the car. I m always cautious about using companies that I ve never used before. They do an 80 point inspection with pictures. I previously had my ford truck serviced at a ford dealership and our Lincoln at the local Lincoln dealership. Both quit providing the multi point inspection sheets, yet their service recommendations increased. I trust the men at Christian Brothers and I am impressed with their work. They warranty all of their work. I highly recommend them.

Courtesy once-over for our rattle trap of a van was greatly appreciated! Staff was awesome. Garrett especially was absolutely fantastic and professional when settling up.Most of all, we're grateful for the winsome Christian environment and overt gospel witness. My wife brought her car in because the brakes were squeaking. They told her she needed new brakes and rotors for around $1,000. She took the vehicle to Cecils Automotive, and they told her she had about 10,000 miles left on her pads. I highly recommend a second opinion if you plan on doing business here.

I rarely post reviews unless the place is great or horrible. I can not say enough good things about Christian Brothers Automotive. They are absolutely fantastic. One of our car s battery was dead and we were able to get it jump started and purchase a new battery. The problem was the battery is located in a place we were unable to remove it and needed help. They said to bring it in and they could get to it later in the day. We showed up a few minutes later (during their lunch) and one of the guys took the time to fix it for us right then. Absolutely amazing customer service. He didn t have to do that and we would have been happy to wait until the end of the day, but he didn t and they gained forever customers based on him taking the time to help.

I don't know if they are trying to take advantage of me due to being from out-of-town but I have NEVER seen such ridiculous quotes for simple services. 17 Jeep Wrangler - $1,300 to replace 4 shocks and I provided the shocks! $846 to change rear axle seals (both sides) + another $226 to replace the oil in the rear diff. This job should never be over $600! $542 + $162 to replace rear pads/rotors and flush brake lines. I just don't know how people can use this place with their prices. The park lot of was full of cars, maybe they have enough business to turn it away. I would HIGHLY recommend getting quotes from other places before committing to having any work done at this location.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had to have some repairs done on my vehicle that I got from Carmax.CBA Collierville was one of the recommended shops that they had so I went with them.They worked up a full diagnostic and gave me a list of 6 things that needed to be done which included what i brought it in for. They worked with the warranty repair company and got everything approved, which was a real headache because these warranty providers want to pay as little as possible. However CBA got it worked out and even fixed something that another repair shop could not and told me I'd have to go to the dealership for. They ran into to another issue and got that added to the repair claim. I had them to fix the other issues they found and paid for those myself. It took them longer than I would have liked but there were circumstances that caused that more than CBA.
