They knew I was traveling and got me fixed up first thing in the morning at a reasonable price. Recommended a tow truck with an awesome driver and a taxi to get back to them. Spreading the word!

I called about getting my water pump done at that exact same time that day and they got me worked in got me done within 2 hours and the price was very reasonable I'm definitely coming back thank you guys

Scott diagnosed my truck and actually recommended we don't do anything to it at this time. They're obviously not in the business of just making money but doing the right thing for the customer. I literally broke down next door at Dixie Day Spay. Tri-State sent a guy over to attempt to jump it with their portable jump box. Unfortunately, it wasn t the issue and I had to tow it to the shop. They weren t sure when they would be able to look at it possibly several days), but they ended up diagnosing the problem and repairing it before the end of business the next day. The owner, Scott, was great to work with! He is very thorough with his work, which is definitely what you want in a mechanic - would absolutely recommend this business!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Battery

I was a first time customer, but I took my 2000 Toyota Tacoma in with a fuel line leak primarily, and a few other minor things. They were fantastic on getting the issue fixed, especially due to the age and lack of replacement parts due to the age of the truck. I expected it to take weeks to repair, but they were on top of it fast. I thank everyone that works there for their skill and speed on repairing my truck. Took my 2012 Range Rover to Scott to drop off for replacement of water pump. He was extremely knowledgeable and very affordable. He laid out all the options of what would need to be repaired and gave me the choices of what to do. I trust his knowledge and abilities or I would have never taken my truck there. He is very detailed and did not try to over sell anything. I have a spare vehicle I can use and gave him as much time as he needed to do the work, and he said the vehicle will be finished by Friday if nothing goes wrong. I will stay a loyal customer. These folks are wonderful to work with! They happened to have an opening and got my car right in, went over necessary repairs and told me what was necessary and recommended upcoming preventive maintenance as well. Scott kept me aware of the timeframe, and that parts could possibly not arrive next day so that I could plan on alternate transportation accurately. They called me right when my car was ready and I was in and out with my car very quickly.They get bonus points for not rolling their eyes at my sometimes-hard-to-work-on car either! I am not one to leave reviews but the last 2 times this repair shop was used by either myself or a close family member the results were AWFUL. First was my wifes mail delivery vehicle. It needed ball joints and tierod ends, all were replaced but when the vehicle was picked up the ABS light (which wasn't on previously) was on and there was a persistant popping noise coming from the driver side. Upon personal inspection a wire was loose and there was a missing bolt both on the driver side. Story # 2 My mother took in a ford edge because the brake pedal was spongy, they diagnosed it as a bad brake booster and supposedly it was replaced. After close to $1000 spent the vehicle continued to have the exact same issue and was returned to Tri State. They yet again informed my elderly parents that it was a brake booster which my parents informed had just been replaced at Tri State....... So after keeping the vehicle for more than a week my parents were told that the booster was replaced again, brake system was inspected, and brake system was bleed....... along with being told that a ABS module and a brake hyd. module were bad and parts could not be found. One single google search and I found both parts at multipe locations. So my parents shell out another $200 for NOTHING......... vehicle acting the same.Honestly I would not let this repair facility install reflectors on a tricycle, I fully believe it would be above their abilities.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

I had car trouble passing through town and still had several hours of drive ahead of me. Scott was very understanding and promptly began working on my car to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. Scott was very courteous and made me feel welcomed as an out of towner. We've used Tri-State twice now and both times have been a great experience. The guys seem honest, friendly and knowledgeable. Both times.the car needed additional work and they called and explained what it needed and after discussing it with others we found their assessments to be right on. Price is fair and turn around is fairly quick. The second time we had a busted hose and it was afternoon, we thought we'd have to wait until the next day but he gave us an estimate of an hour...and it turned out to be more like 40 minutes. We will definitely be using them again.

Bring my car in for wobbling got it back wobbling was less but my car kept trying to go in circles pulling me off road and there is a humming sound I have never heard my car make until I got it back from the mechanic the owner Scott tried to act and seem professional and caring as he attempted to help me and claim my issues with the vehicle was bad but could be safe and however when it was done there wasn't a wobble however the humming sound was horrible and he claimed it was already there then said that he felt bad to even help us that much. I'm not satisfied and feel little disrespected by that as u should be for the customer I wasn't rude angry or negative rather then him not wanting to be as helpful as he claimed to be or as these reviews hyped to be. Very friendly to get you in the door however when something else goes wrong it's a oh well it was there before kinda thing. Sorry not usually one for reviews however I drive my car daily and I know the frequent sounds I hear as to why I took it in today of all days bc of my concern. Maybe some new management or skilled workers could improve the experience.
