Rebuilt transmission in my old Expedition that is used for a toy, farm truck. Did a great job, he told me it would be a week and possibly longer. He had it finished in 2 days from drop off and I have had no issues with it in 4 years and we use it as a work horse.

Great business to work with. Greg was very straightforward and fair. Hard to find honest mechanics these days. I have his number saved for sure.He looked at my 63 Ford Galaxie500 that had the transmission rebuilt by a company in Chattanooga few years ago that was slipping and not shifting. He was very informative with what he found and did what he could to fix the previous botched job but a rebuild would be necessary to get it right. Most places nowadays barely look at the problem & just quote you a high price let alone do what they can with minimal cost to fix it first before telling you the expensive is the only option left. This shop will forever have my business! I couldn t have asked for better service. We took my Altima to Greg thinking it was one thing, he agreed to look at it, but found out that that was not the issue. He was honest with us when he identified what the issue actually was. Was willing to work with us on the part that was needed by giving us the option to buy the part on our own, so we didn t have to pay for mark-up. We bought the part and he fixed it for us for a very fair price. I can t recommend this shop enough!Service: Transmission

I dropped my car off at Tennessee Transmission on Jan 4th, 2023. I was told it needed a torque converter but they couldn t get a new one, that mine had to be sent off an rebuilt. I finally got to pick my car up today (1-25-23) which mean they had my car 21 days!!! When I went to sign my warranty papers I was told my car was done but I couldn t pick it up yet, it would be later today. I seen my car across the street, which I was NOT told could be where my car would be parked (Wildwood Ave.) My husband an I noticed a pretty big dent on the top of the passenger side finder, right beside my hood!! When asked about said dent, they denied it, said they didn t do anything but put my car on a lift. Which was a lie because my clock and radio stations was not the same. Thankfully I took a picture of my car before I took it to get worked on. No dent was there before Jan 4th. I got told they couldn t do anything because they have a sign that says, not responsible for damages that happen after business hours. So I said, you said u didn t know when it happened so how do u no it happened after business hours? I got zero response. They didn t offer to fix it even though I made them aware I had pictures of my car before I took it to them. They wasn t very nice when I asked about the dent over the phone or in person. When I went to pick my car up just now I asked the girl up front if she had heard anything about the dent in my car, she said no. I m absolutely NOT happy with the service I was provided! Would definitely NOT recommend this business to anyone else!! Watch your cars and take pictures before u leave it at any shop! I have pictures of before an after this shop has my car! Not to mention I had just bought this car 13 days before I took it to Tennessee Transmission.Service: Transmission

My husband couldn't figure out what was wrong, so we sent it in for a free diagnostic. I was super excited about that, because no one does that anymore. Then while it took a few days, they called and told me to come get my vehicle, it's done. I asked how much I owed and they said nothing, someone left the fuse out. My husband had left the fuse out and it caused it to have serious problems. They fixed it for free and the promise to tell him to stay out of my fuse box... Lol. Thank you, and I will recommend this shop to everyone!Service: Transmission

Brought my vehicle here after another shop owner told me it would be $6,000 to rebuild my transmission. Greg checked it out, and ended up just putting some fluid in the transmission, which ended up taking care of the shutter I was feeling while driving. Didn t even charge me for it. If I do end up having any more problems in the future, will definitely come here. Highly recommend this place!Service: Transmission

This guy is the most unprofessional person you will ever meet. Leaves your car in worse shape than it went in. Beware to anyone that leaves your car with them . They will run the miles up on your car and you will leave with body damage. Garbage place. And if you have a full tank of gas, you will leave with none. All he will do is point to a sign if you notice the dents and scratches that he leaves on your cars. Karma will catch up to yall.Service: Transmission

I will be bringing my vehicles here in the future. The staff was amazing and very helpful beyond just the transmission work they did. If you need work done this place can do it. They are also not afraid of older cars and trucks like some other shops that I called. Great work

We were traveling on vacation, and after fueling up started having transmission trouble. We looked up shops in the area, Mr. Greg was the only that took us right in, all others needed an appointment. He and his staff got us fixed up and vacation continued as planned. So friends if ever in the area and have problems stop by Tennessee Transmission and see Mr. Greg. He also recommended a great Burger Joint.

ABSOLUTELY HONEST & TOP-NOTCH! 12 hours away from home (Tulsa Oklahoma) these guys dropped everything in their shop to help me. Like most people i know nothing about transmissions, I'm a "easy target." They could have taken me for big money & kept me in town 4 days. I was up & running within 12 hours at bare minimum cost. I'm home, I'm safe & I can't thank these guys enuff!!!

5 stars hands down. I had previous mechanical work done and the transmission the last guy put in was the wrong transmission! No wonder it went out so fast. Luckily I came to Tennessee transmission where they was able to find me the right transmission and got my truck fixed in a matter of 3 days!!!! Absolutely recommend!

I had a 4ROD in my powerstroke go out on a sunday. Had it towed this shop. Had it back a week later. I am so happy with the rebuild these guys did! Highly recommend these guys!

So far so good. They were the cheapest option out of the 3 in Cleveland. And it comes with a 3yr warranty as opposed to the 2yr everyone else offers

Got the transmission rebuilt twice by these guys (first time it failed, it was not their fault) good 1year warranty. Would bring a transmission to them in the future if needed

The weekend before the 4th of July I drove my Ram 3500 up from FL and the trans started acting up the code was for a some solenoid on the side of the trans ordered it it took three days installed it and still had problems towed the truck to them Tuesday night and they got me back on the road Wednesday just before the Holiday...THANKS
