I highly recommend this shop. They fixed a repair by a much less reputable shop, for a much more affordable price than they should. If I have any issues in the future, I will go here, just as my father has for decades. There s a reason these guys have been in business for as long as they have. They do good work and are honest people.

After waiting 6 weeks on another shop to work me in and being put off again I called superior! So glad I did! Full rebuild done in a week. Fast, efficient and my car drives great.

Superior Transmissions conducted a complete and full diagnosis and paired that to an honest price and you have what I experienced, a reliable shop that I ll happily bring my other vehicles here for repairs.The tech also brought a check engine light to my attention and read the code and I had brake sensor inspected and come to find out the entire 4x4 hub assemble had started becoming elliptical and caught this failing component before it became a projectile on the freeway!!!Thank you and God bless!!!

Five stars! Superior replaced the torque converters in my transmission, and remedied a slipping rear differential (via a Limited Slip Additive to the fluid in the differential s casing.)They were reasonably priced, very friendly and courteous, gave good estimates of when they could work on my vehicle, and communicated regularly to inform me about my vehicle and the repairs being done on it.They were very reliable and did a great job! I highly recommend them.

TLDR: If you need transmission work, go see the people at Superior.The check engine light on my Honda Pilot came on and indicated my transmission was overheating. The resulting error code indicated a transmission fluid pressure issue. I called Superior and spoke with a very knowledgeable young lady who asked all the right questions. I brought my vehicle over and met the owner Phil. He told me he would evaluate it asap. They ran diagnostics and Phil let me know that my transmission fluid level was high (probably over filled at my last oil change) and he suspected that was the issue. They evaluated my vehicle, drained my transmission fluid to the appropriate level, and then took my Pilot on an extensive test drive to ensure the issue was resolved. Within 24 hours I had my Pilot back. Here is the crazy part .they refused to charge me, even after I repeatedly insisted! Despite their time and effort, they considered it so minor it s not worth worrying about, direct quote! I met Phil, the young lady who handles the front, and one of their techs. Across the board they were knowledgeable, friendly, and as nice as could be. What a pleasant experience. I have found my go-to transmission experts and I recommend Superior Transmission without reservation.Service: Transmission

I went there to get my transmission rebuilt and they claimed they rebuilt the transmission and they checked it out two weeks later and said it was good to go. Not long after that it started making a loud sound and I noticed transmission fluid leaking and they said the flywheel was busted when I took it back obviously it was due to a mechanical error because there were no issues with any of the other problems until I had them work on it but yeah they felt like it was my responsibility to pay an additional $2,000 on top of what I already paid I'm going to warn as many people as I can not to do business with this place.

Recently I purchased a 2016 Subaru Forester at Honda of Cleveland. Having signed a no warranty paper they would not repair the shifting control on transmission. Subaru dealership wanted $8,400.00 to replace Tran. Superior Transmission Came to The rescue and replaced defective part for a very reasonable cost under 1/4 the cost and repaired in just a few days car was on the road and working very well. I cannot say enough about Phil and his whole team. No one ever wants transmission trouble because you know it's usually going to be expensive. But how do you put a price on the thing that gets you or your husband back and forth to work every day or gets your grandbabies to school on time? You can't. Phil was highly recommended to us and I can see why. He was amazing to work with from beginning to end. Both of the ladies that helped us at the front desk were so kind and sweet as well. Not only did Phil rebuild the transmission on my Buick, but he gave me a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty AND actually had my car washed, vacuumed and tires shining when we came to pick it up! They not only did what needed to be done, but did what they didn't have to and went the extra mile. In this day and age, a lot of people do the bare minimum and how nice it was to see someone go above and beyond. My car now runs like it did when it was brand new. They were knowledgeable, kind, helpful and AWESOME through this whole process and I couldn't imagine taking my car anywhere else.

Dropped off my BMW X5 to have the transmission rebuild. Great service I believe I talked to Phill about it and he was knowledgeable and polite. Not once did he talk to me like I was stupid or talked down to me when asking certain questions. They were time efficient and their warranty that they offered was the best 1 I heard of since I moved to Tennessee. Its been very difficult to find a place to work on this vehicle that I can trust. Even though I'm about an 1hr & 30min away from them, it was worth the drive. I will definitely recommend and use them again if needed.Service: Transmission

My son is a member of the Navy and we are from Texas. We broke down in Cleveland Tennessee and found Phil at superior transmission. This guy had us fixed up with new transmission in 2 days. I would trust this guy with my life.He's a man of God and helped his fellow man. Phil and his staff are the best. I could not recommend Superior more highly. They are going to do their best to get you back on the road as quickly as possible. It can be hard to trust mechanics, however, you can trust that Phil and his people will never look to gouge you. They are honest and helpful people that know their reputation is more important than any one transaction. If there is an inexpensive fix, they'll do it. The staff at Superior Transmission was wonderful. The service was amazing. The owner took his time to explain exactly what was wrong and what they were going to do. All the work was completed on time and quote was extremely fair. We have had our transmission fixed on two different vehicles and have had no issues. Superior Transmission is the only place I ll go from here on out for any transmission needs. They were incredibly friendly and communicated during every step of the repair.I was thoroughly impressed when the owner came and spoke to me personally about the repairs and the issues I d had at other shops. He also test drives each car they repair to ensure it s up to his standards.The front desk/billing staff were awesome as well. My entire experience there was so positive. I couldn t recommend this place more.

Had to have transmission repaired recently. Staff was helpful and the tech that worked on my car was friendly and not only explained but also showed me the work he had done to my vehicle. The work wasn't cheap but transmissions usually aren't and it came with a very good warranty which means they stand by their work. Highly recommend.

I can't recommend this place more! Phil and his staff are SUPERIOR! They not only repaired my daughter's car, they dealt with the warranty company as well. If you've ever dealt with that, you know how meaningful it is to be spared that run-around. This is made even more important since the car is a HYBRID! There are very few places that will even touch one. His staff are very knowledgeable and kept us updated on the progress. When you need multiple parts from multiple countries, this is important. Thanks SUPERIOR TRANSMISSION! MY daughter is smiling as she drives.

I have never felt confident taking taking my vehicles anywhere for any kind of work yet these guys are truly awesome. My truck finally drives as it should and the follow up is thorough. Quality work and warranty as well, just a great, helpful team to work with.

I highly recommend Superior Transmission to anyone. I had them remove a new burnt up transmission from Monster Transmission (had probably less than 500 miles on it) and install a new one they sent to replace it. If I had it all to do over again I would have just had Superior Transmission build me a new one. My vehicle did have to sit in the way while they waited on Monsters slow process of sending me the replacement. Once Superior Transmission finally did receive the new replacement the installation was super fast and everything has been great so far. Only thing I am afraid of now is this transmission from Monster! If you are looking for a new transmission please take my advice and stay away from Monster Transmission! Put your trust into the local shops and I can promise you that you will get way better customer service. Give Superior Transmission a call!

An expensive repair since the automatic transmission on our 2011 Ford Excape demolished itself. Photos showed a real mess with broken parts everywhere. We were given a reasonable quote which was adhered to and the transmission has performed great in the month that followed. Great work and we were always kept informed. Thanks for getting us back on the road.

I had to get my transmission rebuilt. Superior had fixed it a couple of years earlier right before I bought my vehicle. The transmission had a 2 year/24,000 mile warranty which I was 1200 miles over when it went out. Regardless, it was over warranty. They gave me a break on the price for having to fix it again. They walked me through the entire place explaining the process and how they do what they do. Here's hoping for a much longer lasting transmission!

An automatic transmission repair service that was willing to repair our manual transmission for us. Friendly and honest, everything was explained in detail and we were treated quite nicely. The parts used were what I wanted and not what the others insisted on using. Service was fast and the price was better than what the others wanted for cheaper parts. They've been in business for 27 years, I believe that they said. The wife runs the front desk and if we ever need trainsmisson repair again, we won't even look elsewhere. (I did my research).

Superior rebuilt my 04 Ram 2500 transmission about a year ago and it has performed flawlessly towing tractors, UTV, skid steer, etc. I highly recommend this shop and will use them again myself when needed.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Our car "died" 600 miles from home. The Superior Trans team sent a tow truck, prioritized and repaired our car, and returned it to us all within six hours. The price was fair and the service beyond our expectations. Obviously customer service is just as important as the repair.

It has been several weeks since Phil fixed my Honda accord and it has not leaked a drop. Originally a Honda dealer said it was leaking from the front transmission seal and it would cost $2200 dollars to fix.Took car to Superior Transmission and Phil found axle seal leaking and said he was confident that would fix leak. And the cost was $230, a big difference from $2200 Honda wanted. If you have a transmission problem, you need to have Phil and the folks at Superior Transmission look at it they are fast friendly and best of all they do a great job.
