Basement AC - THANKFUL for their YouTube channel. Thankful to Mr. Steve Shelburne & family for returning my call and discussing our Basement AC issues. I removed our Basement AC in Florida and delivered to Shelburne RV 7.5hrs away, to drop off to them, for repair when their schedule allowed. They put it on their bench right away and determined that the repair was relatively simple (for them, not for me LOL) and they suggested I wait. They were able to replace a motor and install new bearing while I waited. It was a pleasure to meet the family and cool to see the photo of Steve's father Sid Shelburne who also provided AC repair services far exceeding industry standard. Check it out if you're ever there. Our AC came home with me in same trip and we were able to reinstall it the next day. Now, the temp inside our motor home can get so much cooler than we would have believed.

I thought i had a major problem and was looking at a few thousand dollars...after discovery was done at Shelbourne they found a couple of minor issues and all is well. This Will always be my go-to place for my 1968 Alladin.

We had our camper repaired by Shelburn RV and things where done without asking if we wanted them to be done the day we picked up the camper repairs that where asked to be done where not and had to be done while we waited Steve told us the work not asked for would be removed and our money would be reimbursed calls where never returned time never set battery was used and we where informed it was bad be sure you get only the work done you ask for have everything signed and if any thing will be done at a later date do not take their word for get in in writing !

In and out easy and quick. Nicest people to work with and a very reasonable cost. Thank you. Then when an additional problem came up they came to me at no cost and did a secondary check. Wow! Such customer service is rare in 2018. Thank you!

We highly recommend Shelburne RV.Our basement AC in our River Ranch 5th Wheel quit working before Labor Day while we were at a rural Colorado state park. Thinking we had something fail, we drove straight home. Once home we attempted to contact Airexcel and could not get anyone from the factory to return our call, and no one in Colorado Springs area to help.We then turned to Steve Shelburne from Facebook. Steve contacted us directly on Sunday, Labor Day, to help troubleshoot possible issues. Steve helped us step through a few tests to ensure the system was actually working with the correct amps on both compressors. We did not find any issues and the numbers were what he thought they should be. We let the AC run and found it was working properly. He believes there may have been low power at the CO State Park, which caused the AC to not fully start.Even though we were not in an urgent need Steve took time out of his weekend to help troubleshoot over the phone as he is in Tennessee and we are in Colorado. Maybe he could hear the stress in our voices. He knows his stuff when it comes to these AC units and is there when you need him.Kudos to Steve!Service: Air conditioning

Absolute gem RV Service!! We experienced AC failure in the middle of this year's brutal heatwave in Central Florda. Our 2005 Winnebago Vectra's basement Coleman AC proved to be a conundrum to 3 local RV techs. After paying way more $ than deserved to only have them tell us - can't repair, need to replace, cut a hole in roof and install new rooftop, etc. Our hopes of keeping our bus' original parts intact were slowly diminishing. While researching opportunities for repair, Shelbourne RV's You Tube channel popped up. Low and behold there was Steve working on the same AC unit!! We made contact and even though they were booked thru October, the option to get the unit to them was offered and they'd work on it in between service. We were able to remove the unit - beast of a job - and then debated on how to get it from San Mateo FL to Shelbourne in TN. In the end, we decided to use a day and deliver it personally instead of shipping and chancing damage or loss. 7.5hrs later, Jay was met by the pleasant, professional staff for the drop off. By chance as Jay walked around he met Steve. The offer for them to look at it to see what the issue was before he left the unit with them and travel back to FL was given. Heck yeah, he was more than happy to wait for troubleshooting. In the end, the talented folks there discovered the problem and were generous enough to fix it on the spot! Jay was able to bring our repaired unit home same day! Shelbourne RV proved to be worth the drive. AC unit reinstalled and working like it's brand new. Although our jobs keep us traveling every state, you can bet we will happily make a drive to Cleveland TN anytime we need service! Thank you Steve and Team!!

Steve, Je-Ann and the entire team at Shelburne RV were fantastic to work with. Our basement AC went out while traveling and I was referred to Steve by Coleman Mach (mfg). Steve was booked out a month but he and Je-Ann knew our situation and told us to get there ASAP. Once we were there, Louis came out and jumped right on it. Had it diagnosed and fixed in no time. When it was time to check out, the office staff was extremely polite and helpful on anything that we needed. I felt that the pricing was more than fair. In fact, I feel like they really took care of us and feel we got better pricing then the friends and family rates! Thanks again Shelburne RV!!Service: Air conditioning

Very professional, super nice, and completely honest! These are all qualities that are hard to find these days, but this company is all that and more! They could have charged me a lot of money for parts and services that I didn't need, because I had tried to do an electrical repair myself. HOWEVER!!! The young man was quick to calm my nerves when he realized I simply had a loose wire in my electric panel . He straightened it out and asked if I was having any other issues. Thank you so much, for having a true old fashioned work ethic!

Big shoutout to Shelburne Rv for helping resolve my issues. Your videos are more than helpful and your customer service is top notch.Called in regarding a bearing for a Coleman Mach II HVAC outdoor blower motor that I saw in a YouTube video. The owner could ve sold me a bearing directly but told me where to buy it from, which is where he buys them. He also gave me some advice about the replacement of the bearing. After just a few hours, I had the unit out, bearing replaced and unit back in, wired and blowing cold. Thanks Mr. Shelburn. Can t recommend these guys enough.Service: Air conditioning

Short & Sweet:I would 100% use their services again. Fair priced, knowledgeable, & doesn't try to oversell you on anything.Details:Called Wednesday after 4 & talked to both the husband & wife trying to figure out what it could be, & when their earliest appointment was available & take a look. We had two gentlemen come out & take a look. It ended up being a power supply issue, but they didn't try to sell us on anything. Just told us what we could do to address the issue (which is obviously a little out of their wheelhouse), instead of saying "oh it could be this part, let's try & replace it".If I could give them more stars, I would. If you live in the area, these are definitely the people to go to for RV repair.Service: Air conditioning

Recent update: Called them to get some information on why my RV was not charging, as we are novice RV owners, the day before we were set to head out. I spoke with Wade, who told me I could bring it in right then and he would check it out. So we did that, it turned out to be a very, very low battery, and he told me how to fix it. Very grateful that he interrupted his work schedule to fit me in and allay my worries about my RV. Thank y'all so much. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Work is completed quickly and reasonably priced. Convenient location for folks in the Bradley County area. Highly recommended.

Great service! My wife and I own a 2006 Itasca Ellipse, Class A motorhome. We traveled from November 2021 thru April 2022 throughout the south. While we were in Alabama (March 2022) we noticed our basement air was making some strange noises. I had seen Steve's videos on YouTube and was impressed with his troubleshooting process. I called him, left a message, and Steve called me back to discuss the problem. We set up an appointment to get the AC serviced. When we met Steve at his shop he was very understanding and knowledgeable about these basement air systems and had the issue pinpointed within an hour of dropping it off. Long story short -- Steve and his crew pulled our AC, serviced it, updated the control board, replaced bad capacitors, and replaced the blower fan motor. If I ever need to have that system worked on in the future, I will definitely bring the rig back to beautiful Cleveland, Tennessee!! Steve and his crew are patriots and do the very best for you that they can!! You can see our MH in one of his videos! Thank you Steve!

Last fall my camper awning broke to where it would not recoil so I called Shelburn RV to see about fixing it. They came out while I was at work and the tech said it was wound wrong and that he fixed it. I was charged $258.28. We put the camper in storage after that and didn't take it out until the spring. On the first try, the awning broke again in the same manner. I called Shelburn RV again to let them know and they said they would send someone out to look at it. I met them at the camper storage and they confirmed it was indeed broken and then charged me a $170 service call. I was shocked. I thought this was a follow up to the previous visit since it obviously was not fixed the first time. There was no mention of a charge or fee when I called them. After my protests, they agreed to reduce the charge to $85.06. At this point I had paid nearly $350 to fix the awning and it was still broken. When I got home I called to talk to Steve, the owner. He was unavailable so I left my name and number. I never got a return call. After about a week or two, I was notified that the techs would once again have to come look at the awning because they didn't get enough information from it the first time to order parts. This required I take a morning off. They did not charge me this time. After another week or two I finally got an estimate in the range of $1,000-$1,500 to replace it. When I asked if any of the nearly $350 I had already paid could be applied to that, I was told the 90 day warranty period for their work had expired and they could do nothing. Remember, the camper was in storage all that time. Were they technically within their rights and policies? Yes. But they did not fix it correctly the first time. It is apparent to me they value profits over customer service and I will never use them again.Service: Body & Trim

I am the owner of a 2003 Winnebago Adventurer that I have purchased in January 2022. I live in Bismarck, ND. My unit had several fix it projects that needed to be taken care of. One of the projects was that my basement AC was not working properly. After telephoning local RV repair businesses and repeatedly being told that there was no way to get my unit in to have it troubleshooted for between 2-3 months. I next conducted a search on the internet for answers to my problem and the web site for Steve Shelburne/Shelburne RV came up. I sent a message to the web site about my problem and what I had done to attempt to take care of my problem.Within 12 hours I received a telephone call from Steve Shelburne. Once connected to Steve he listened to my issue and immediately began to trouble shoot my problem. All in total over the next week I spent at least 3 hours on the telephone with Steve after he provided me with parts that were needed. And he helped me with continued support as I installed the parts and tested them and corrected my problem.Since everything is working now I continue to recommend Shelburne RV to all of my friends and family in this area for parts and support.SHELBURNE RV IS NUMBER#1 ON MY LIST!!!!Thank you Steve! I will continue to do business with you and recommend you to anyone that needs RV repairs, parts and support all around the country. We will be down to see you one day and shake your hand in person to thank you againTim MyersBismarck, NDServices: Electrical, Body & Trim, Air conditioning

We headed out for our first trip of the season and our converter was bad. So we had no heat or fridge and it was looking like we might have to pack up and go home with 2 young girls. These guys moved things around to get us mobile techs out within half an hour of calling and had us fixed up in no time. They saved a camping weekend! Very nice guys and very knowledgeable. Thanks!!Service: Electrical

This business provides prompt, competent service that is reasonably priced. I have used them several times, never disappointed. I did not have similarly good experiences at highly advertised national dealership service department.

BEWARE!!I had this company out after my refrigerator wasn't cooling.Their technician came out & checked everything & said it seemed to be checking out....but sometimes the cooling system worked better with a dial thermostat....so we agreed to have him install one.He said to give the refrigerator 36 hours to get cold & to call him if it didn't.He did tell us if it didn't cool within the 36 hours, it could be the cooling system & that would be $3,000.00 +....but he thought because everything was working correctly & that it had been so hot that the temperature most likely wasn't able to keep the food at a steady temperature & the dial thermostat helps with that.We were charged $780.00 for a service call, one hour labor & the part.We waited the 36 hours & the refrigerator was still warm.I called him....no response, so I texted him....no response. The next day I called the office & told them the refrigerator was still warm....they said they would have him contact me.He did text that night & say they were looking into the part he had talked to us about.I waited 2 days and still hadn't heard anything.I called the office & was told the lady that takes care of outside service was out for the day.....so I left a message....the next day....no response. So I called the next day & was told the lady that takes care of outside service had just gone to lunch....this was at 9:30 a.m.I left another message, again....no response.I called another company and they came right out.Their technician checked everything out & said he was positive it was the cooling unit...but called Dometic to get their service departments opinion. He put them on speaker so I could listen...They both came to the conclusion that the refrigerator was not worth fixing & Dometic told him that that model was being discontinued too.My Technician told me I could get a nice residential refrigerator, he gave me the measurements of what would work in my space....& said they would install it for me...after I go & pick one out, buy it & have it delivered.... which is exactly what we are doing. When the technician asked about the dial on the refrigerator, I told him what Shelburns technician had told us....he said that there was absolutely no reason he should have installed that, because the other thermostat was working fine.I told him what I was charged & showed him my reciept....He looked up that part & it was $36.00....We were charged $350.00 for it....and it was not needed!!Not only do I feel totally ripped off....I feel this is Consumer Fraud. This place must be pretty hard up to have to take advantage of Seniors.Thank God I found an honest company...with a technician that not only went above and beyond to find out the best solution....only charged a $100.00 service call & said when they come back to install my new refrigerator, the service call will be waived & I will only be charge for labor.I also will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

This is one of the best places in the country for basement ac repairs. There are a lot of rv repair companies that say they can repair anything but only a handful that can deliver quality work. Bonus they get things done pretty quickly at a fair price and that's saying something considering how many jobs they are working all at once.

Shelburne RV located in Cleveland, TN has "GOT" to be your go to place for all of your RV service, parts and repairs. The staff are the absolute "BEST" in the business. They are true professionals and are sincere about your RV service needs. They contacted me to schedule a service call and the technician called when he was enroute with an estimated time of arrival. Having a mobile service tech come to your campsite or home to service / repair your RV is priceless. Last fall we pulled into our campground at Parksville Lake, TN during a three week vacation. As we were getting set up we discovered that the electric line between our trailer and our vehicle had been cut. We were stuck without power to our jack so we couldn't unhitch. We also found that we had no lights or brakes to the trailer so we couldn't safely move to get help. A ranger recommended we contact Shelburne RV for assistance. Of course, we had no cell reception so we drove directly to them in Cleveland. While explaining our problem the staff members were very helpful and understanding. They arranged to send their mobile unit to our campsite that afternoon. The owner later called to check on us and say that the tech was running just a little later than they had hoped and that they would be there soon. The service tech was extremely professional and kind. He confirmed that the line had been intentionally cut, replaced the line, tested the electrical system, and made sure everything was in working order. Every person we met at Shelburne was kind, understanding, and professional. We are most grateful for their assistance and highly recommend them for service when you're in the area.

Awesome service and folks! They took care of and serviced my entire coach from roof to ground. Communication was excellent and work progression/decisions were perfectly balanced for cost and need. They even came in on a Sunday to give me access to my coach.I would highly recommend them. Way better than any Camping World or Cummins experience than I've ever had.

What can I say. They are a great group of people to do business with. I took my RV there In Oct 2019. They did a great job on my repairs, and had it done when they said it would be done. They answered the phone when I called, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I had some issues with my extended warranty insurance, and they helped me all the way. I will not take my RV anywhere else in the future for repairs. Great people Great job. Can't think of anything bad to say about them.
