I am reviewing a customer, but the stars are not for him. In our business as in many other service business, occasionally (maybe twice a year) a job will take much longer than anticipated for a million different reasons, and that isn't good for the customer or for us, because we want our customers to be happy.One year ago we did a truck that took much longer than it should have and yes, we also left town for a family vacation in the middle of the job. But since it was an extended family trip that involved 4 families, we were not in a position to cancel our plans and stay home.When the job was finished it was done very well because we went above and beyond on the finish because it took so long. We also did the work for $1000 less than what we should have charged.This customer is the one who wrote this the terrible review on google. There is so much untruth in his review, I don't even know where to begin.However, this gentleman brought his truck back for us to work on this week because a couple of places on the paint finish had started looking bad. We guarantee all our work for as long as you own your car or truck but we were happy to do the work even after the terrible review.The problem with this person is many fold, he ask us to do some extra work while we had his truck (we don't do extra work for free, sorry) and then when he picked it up refused to pay and called the police. I'm not sure what he thought the police would do. But obviously they told him he had to pay if he wanted his truck. And the really sad thing is this; we would have gladly done the extra work for free had he not been such a jerk before. But the thing that pushed me over the edge was Easter Sunday when my children and grandchild were in our yard playing this same man came into our driveway much faster than he should have and missed hitting my grandson by a mere 2 feet or less. Of course I quickly went after him and told ask him that he was driving too fast and came too close to the children. He laughed it off and said "I'm sorry, I thought I was just coasting". My family was furious...we had a porch full of witnesses....I should have been the one calling the police.Just remember that usually bad reviews are mostly based on anger because a customer wanted something they were not entitled to in the first place. He wanted the first job done free and he wanted this job done free....maybe it's a pattern for him.

My rating of 2 has nothing to do with the finish paint job but not doing the job in a timely manner or the time frame that he told me it would take. I told him we could do it anytime just when he started it I needed it done asap. He told me it would take about 2 weeks. So when I took it to him he supposedly was caught up and could get right on it. Never touched it the 1st week then went on vacation the next week. So I lost 2 weeks wages and very little done on my truck. Finally got my truck in 3 1/2 to 4 weeks. It was not totally done. Had to take it back and again was led to believe he would get right on it but what should have taken 2 days turned into a week. Got it back and it still wasn't complete. Some of the paint touch-up still wasn't done but at least it's not in a real obvious place. The nail in the coffin was not when they broke a plastic fitting on my wind shield washer hose and never told me but when they took the cap off the back after I told him it would need a new seal and not only did he not get one but they put it back on with only part of one about half way across leaving a gap of about 3/16 of a inch. No one told me a thing about it. If I hadn't noticed it before I loaded my tools and other stuff back in no telling how much water would have come in and how much would have gotten ruined by the water. Needless to say I won't be going back.

I had two paint spots that needed repaired and they did that for the cheapest price I could find in cleveland and Chattanooga. They even made my headlights not as faded for free!
