If you go by reviews, go by this one! I found myself in a situation that required a mode of transportation quickly. A friend referred me to Jimmy Strictland. I highly recommend you look this gentleman up! He is very attentive, willing to work with you. I was in and out in a matter of just a few hours. So, If you have found yourself needing or just wanting a new ride, I highly recommend Gray Epperson Hyundai to fill your need/want!BTW, I got a 2024 Santa Cruz and very happy with it!!!

Had horrible experiences else where till we came here, they put us in a beautiful car without headache and cared about all our needs. If you do go here I highly recommend going to see oleg! It was going to be easier to get a different car but he fought to get us in the one we wanted. 10/10 would recommend this dealership and him to anyone looking for a car.

This Hyundai dealership has a terrible sales department. I recently purchased a Santa Fe not through them because they wouldn't work with another dealership to get the color we wanted. I had to have a repair and spent $500 in their service department with great service by them. I decided to ask the sales people 3 questions about the features in my new car that I just couldn't find in the manual. He did come out and I asked 1 question then another salesman comes and says he has a customer. Obvious set up, rescue from unwanted customer. I go inside because the other question was important enough to ask. The salesman has no customer and is not on the phone. All salesman are standing around with no customers on the floor. I ask to speak with someone who has a minute and am brushed off. I ask to speak to the manager and the man just walks off. I find the manager myself in the office right behind me with 3 other salesman standing around. Needless to say I'm upset now. They were all in on the "rescue" and still laughing about it. He just keeps saying I need to call my salesman. I explain I just spent $500 in service why can't you answer a question on features. His response didn't change.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE. The disrespect was unbelievable. I would have been a future customer both in service and sales but now, not happening. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY THERE.

Our " salesman " his attitude was not necessary and got worse. I'll be sending an email to his mgr although I doubt their involvement will be any better..Super Super disappointed and really hoped that I'd have positive experience like before. WOW was I shocked and just letdown I had been invited to the business by management but treated like trash by salesman...The 1 star rating I was generous

Jay Pewitt was the best car sales person I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I have never had such a nice vehicle at the best deal I've ever gotten with a caring person so willing to help me with my limited finances. I recommend him highly. I am so grateful to him for being a genuine person doing right by the customer like no car sales person has ever been to me. And Gary Bernat advising me as to gap insurance and working with me on feasible interest rate was a wonderful experience as well as Jay Pewitt going above and beyond or a customer.

I can't say enough about our positive experience buying a car here yesterday. My daughter was buying her 1st car by herself. Since my husband and I live across the country, we were a little nervous about the entire process. Chase was great from the start to the finish! He spoke with me on the phone and answered all of my questions. When the car we were originally looking at didn't work financially, he quickly came up with an alternative. He helped her stay within her budget and made the entire process very easy. We had our initial phone call yesterday afternoon, and by the end of the day she had her new car. She lives in Chattanooga, but it was worth the drive for the customer service that we experienced here.

If I could post 0 stars I would, this place is a joke! We had a car under warranty that was serviced here and they were horrendous to deal with. They told us multiple times the car was ready when it was not (it was someone else s car) They promised to call us and update us about the status of the car which they did not. They have had our car for over a month now and did not have a loaner to supply us and me and my wife are under the required age to rent a car. I bought a late model car to prevent all of this headache. This place has caused my family tremendous amounts of unnecessary stress. They told my wife the car was ready and she could pick it up any time before 7, then we called at 6:30 saying we were almost there and they told us service was closed and we were unable to pick it up. To be a popular brand automotive dealership and to treat your customers this way is unacceptable, and I wish now I hadn t bought my Hyundai.

The air sensor in my rear tire was not working so they took my tire off and put my spear tire on and failed to mention it to me I'm on the interstate doing 70! I pulled over and thankfully found a slower and safer road to travel disrgard for customers I'm 68 years old and it scared me to deat!

They told me service was going to be 2 hrs check in after 2hr was told another 45min checked in after 50 mins was told another 20and it would be right out sat in parking lot waiting for it40 mins later still not ready kind of lost my temper and left told them I would be back in the morning to pick it up have been dealing with them for over two yr with an oil consumption problem even with the fact of telling them I had to put 15 quarts of oil nothing is being done to fix the problem

On June 14, 2022, the engine in my 2014 Hyundai Sonata broke down. We took the car to Gray Epperson, knowing that Hyundai would replace the motor under a class action settlement claim. Later, in early July, the dealership called to let us know the motor had arrived, but that our brakes needed to be replaced, rotors turned, and a tag light and right rear tail light were out. We agreed to have them fix these items. On July 5th, our car was ready for pickup. When we picked up the car, we noticed that several dash lights were on. I told the service department about this, and they said a speed sensor needed to be replaced at a cost of over $500. Later in the day, I discovered that the latch for our trunk was also broken. I called Hyundai's national customer service line and filed a report. They advised us to speak to the service manager at the dealership, which I did. He asked us to bring the car back in, so he could check out the issues. In the end, the dealership refused to fix the broken trunk latch or the speed sensor, even though none of these problems existed at the time we dropped the car off with them on June 14. I am very unhappy that I now have a defective speed sensor and trunk latch, when these were working fine before I brought my car to Gray Epperson for repair.

If I could less than 1 star, I would! Service is absolute trash!!! I took my car there only due to proximity during Covid, if you can bypass this location and go to the Chattanooga Hyundai dealer. Gray Epperson Hyuandai left me sitting in the waiting room for hours (with an appointment) before telling me that no one was available to do my car until later in the evening. Mind you I was very visibly pregnant (about 6-7 months) and starving. Furthermore, my car had a recall and they had to replace my engine, which meant I was without a car for a month and Hyuandai paid for a rental. They called and said I need to return the rental but my car wasn t ready. When they finally called for me to pick up my car, my steering wheel was not aligned, new lights were on the dashboard, my heat only worked while driving and the car shook. They told me to bring it back a few days later and they fixed it. Only to find out when my husband took my car in to the Chattanooga dealer for an oil change that my car needed another $500 worth of work because Gray Epperson Hyuandai lied and charged me for service they didn t perform i.e. the coolant and other fluids had not been changed since 2017 which is why my heat doesn t work as it should. WORST HYUANDAI SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER WITH GRAY EPPERSON HYUANDAI OF CLEVELAND!!!

Liars, cheats, failed to send recall notice, when I took it there they tried to deny that my car was their problem, finally got them to fix it and they broke my air conditioner. Took it back and they said it was not their fault it was the compressor out. Had a different mechanic look at it today and those idiots didn t even plug the compressor in so OF COURSE it didn t get power . And then they had the nerve at Hyundai to tell me it would be over $1000 to replace the compressor THEY FAILED TO PLUG IN .

I'm a single woman and had been shopping around in Chattanooga for a few weeks. Every dealership I visited pressured me and made me feel like I was in a hot seat. The rep would go find the manager and then the manager would pressure me And, when I would tell them my financial goals they made me feel like I was being unreasonable. One dealership told me my credit score was almost 100 points lower than it actually is and my rep here at Gray Epperson was shocked. Long story short out of all the dealerships I've visited over the last 2 to 3 weeks have either been rude or just plain shady.Ron Carelli was my sales rep and from the moment I contacted Gray Epperson they met me with good faith, no pressure, and a much better financial scenario on the vehicle I needed.I cannot recommend this dealership or Ron Carelli highly enough!

I recently bought a 2022 used vehicle from this dealership. I was told this vehicle had not been smoked in, as I asked several times. It looked and smelled good. Shortly after the clean smell scent wore off it was apparent the car had been smoked in. I reached out to them several times with no answer. Honesty is the best policy but obviously not at this dealership.

We purchased a 2017 Hyundai Tucson on 3/31/23. The following morning 4/1/23 I started the car and noticed a strong gas smell and it leaked half a tank of gas in our yard. The fuel line connector was broken, the dealership claims it was from the low pressure line . It was towed back to the dealership on 4/3/23 and an employee drove it back to us after they fixed it the following day. When dropping it off the employee stated it was due to the connector not being hooked back up properly after the engine swap (which we were NEVER told about or provided any paperwork over). Now onto day 19 of owning the car 4/19/23 it spontaneously caught fire while I was parked with my 3 young children (all still in car seats) waiting for our grocery pickup. Thankfully I wasn t driving or there wouldn t have been time for me to save my children. The dealership has shown ZERO remorse or concerns that my children and I could ve died in that car twice. Since it s originally from Canada the USA Hyundai wants nothing to do with it and Canada Hyundai isn t being very cooperative. Jim (sales associate) took advantage of us due to us recently filing bankruptcy and pushed a vehicle that they knew wasn t safe onto us after having difficulty selling (it s in km vs miles and liters vs gallons due to being from Canada). We were approved for a higher amount and completely different vehicle (I have the paperwork) but when we arrived Jim said this or a few very small sedans were all we could choose from. We have a 24,000 mile/ 2 yr warranty on it and at most put 1000 miles on it. Randy has been zero help and has made zero effort in making any of this right. We put all of our funds into the down payment and even dipped into our grocery budget to give an extra $50 they wanted. Now we re out a vehicle, down payment, an added car payment, and 3 traumatized children.

I bought my Tucson with Gray Edison 12 years ago and they are the only people that have serviced it. The car runs great the service is great. They have always taken care of me whatever need I have peri would recommend Gray eperson to anyone. Both for service and for purchase. When this car gets old I will probably buy another one from Epperson .
