Our church youth group came for a CIY conference hosted at Lee University, and the church van brakes started grinding on the way down. It needed new front pads and rotors. The gentlemen treated us with kindness, got the work done in one day, and even gave our church a discount off their very reasonable prices when they didn t have to. They genuinely wanted to help. Thankful for men like this in a world of sketchy auto shops. Wouldn t hesitate to use them if we were local or if we need their services again while we re in town.

Local family owned shop (always a plus!). Kind, fair, and ethical. Give honest and accurate estimates and do quality work. I felt like a person and not a dollar sign and was very pleased with every aspect of their service. This is my new go to for auto maintenance and repair.

My car had been making a rattling sounds for months; I d had it looked at by a family member, and they couldn t diagnose the problem. I thought the worst case scenario I would have to take it to the dealership which would ultimately cost the price of an organ for what I thought was a potentially minor issue. I called multiple service shops, and I got referred to Cleveland Family Tire. Everyone was so kind, and they even drove around with me in my car to hear the sound I was hearing. In that thorough and thoughtful treatment, where they didn t belittle my ideas and opinions even though I don t pretend to know much about cars, we found out the problem was a brake wire not being secured properly. They took my car back and didn t charge me even though it took two days to diagnose the problem, but that was due to me not having enough time the first day to spend there. They could ve made a profit even if small, but they fixed the issue and sent me on my way like the sweetest of sweets they are! I m so grateful!Service: Auto brake repair

This was my first time coming here after squirrel ate my wires and I will never go anywhere elae again. Thank y'all so much. Honest and timely Even finished my truck iin 2 days on a holiday week whats more they are so honest they fixed it for under the quoted price. MY truck is running like a scolded dog. Thank you Family tire you guys are the best.

I had my car towed to their garage on the weekend. They are not open on the weekends but I needed to get it to them to fix. I called Monday and told them what was going on. I have had 2 new batteries, and the car wouldn't start, not even with a jump. So they told me they would need a few days to find out what it could be. They are always busy because they do good work at a fair price. They called me three days later and told me that something was keeping my battery on constantly, that they needed a few more days to figure it out. When they called me back they told me it was the computer in the car was bad. My car is old 1989 so finding a computer was expensive. $1500 because they are rare. The solution they came up with until I either fix this one or get another was a way to take off my battery cable by a little $20 gadget and it works! I was only charged $49.99 for them to get to the bottom of the mystery. These people actually know me and do their best to help even when I don't have a lot of money right then. I trust them, they have helped me a lot.

The first time I went I was kinda of worried because shops try to take advantage of woman. This was not the case. They were very reason with price, shared with me what was wrong with my car, showed me the actual broken part and educated me on the safety of having a non-broke part. I will definitely use them again and send my friends and family to them. Thank you. Honest, good customer service, and reasonable prices are hard to find but they have it all here.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

UNPROFESSIONAL - Our car had the motor replaced and the brakes. They took their time on each of their services. Never had issues with them before. They would promise inspection dates and fix dates and just could not keep them.The owner threatened to violence against me. Yes, threatened violence because I was upset. DO NOT USE.Services: Engine repair, Brakes

Have been using these guys for years. It really is hard to find a business that you can trust. The owners go out of their way to help you all the time. They care about customers beyond simple auto repair or tire needs.

I just won't go anywhere else. I've been here a few times already after a trusted friend referred me and I couldn't be happier. My father was a mechanic so I'm familiar with diagnosing and pricing and have never felt I was being taken advantage of. I also overheard mechanics talking to customers and I have seen people being told it wasn't anything but a minor issue and not being charged. I get that you can't make everyone happy but i dont get the negative reviews. These guys do a great job and the prices are very fair. I would recommend these guys to everyone.

I have never taken mine or my husband's vehicles any where else. My parents were very loyal customers to this family and now so am I. When you walk into a place and they know you by your face and address you by first name you know it's a place that really cares about their customers. They are honest, they have reasonable prices. and the customer service is out of this world. I have recommended many people to them and will continue to do so. I'm a die hard Family Tire fan.

Great experience this morning. I m visiting from out of state when my family members noticed that my tires look shabby. The cost for 4 new tires, an alignment, and oil change was just under $500. The staff was friendly, and the establishment boasts a spacious waiting room with entertainment for the whole family including a TV with remote, magazines, books, and a LEGO table for kids. We were in and out in less than a couple hours. 10/10 recommend !!

I called before I came to make sure they were available to look at my car. They were very friendly on the phone and said they would take a look at my tire, so I went. The service was very friendly and kind. They explained what they were doing, gave recommendations on how to take care of my tires, and fixed my problem at minimal cost. It felt as if they were concerned for the welfare of me and my car rather than just trying to make more money. Quality service at low cost.

I went here to get my hood latch fixed and get my Freon charged they and did a great job. They charged me reasonable rates and were friendly. But they said I needed a new ac compressor. When I had them fix the ac compressor they took their liberty jacking up the price because I hadn t asked for the price ahead of time. It was my mistake not to ask ahead of time. But when I asked the man about it and tried to reason the older guy insulted me and my father, saying we didn t know anything about business. He was very rude. I wouldn t go there again.

I went to family tire years ago, I was pleased then and I am pleased now. They have reasonable prices. You could say a blessing. The lobby area was clean and comfortable enough to fall asleep while you wait. It's just a wonderful place!!! Go by or call!! His name is David who you need to talk to.

Family tire has been fixing my car for years now for reasonable prices. they don't kill you on the labor rate. I love the free popcorn and coffee and the lobby very comfortable. I've always been treated with respect. I recommend coming here.

I took my truck there today for an alignment because it had been stolen and wrecked and I replaced tires and some things broken in the front end when it was stolen for few days. In give them 5 stars not because of my alignment. Because I didn't get an alignment done today.. It was to messed up in the front end to align and the were straight up about it and didn't take my money for something that wouldn't of worked.. I am glad to know there is some genuine people left in this world that are not our just to take what they can get from others.. Thank you Family Tire & Auto

The service is horrible and the stuff not courteous. When I read the customers reviews about this place I was so excited . But After I went there I regret and won't recommend any of my acquaintances to go there ever. I went there a Thursday to get a quote for tune up and a guy told me $350 and I asked him how my they do oil change and he said $35. Then I took my car there Friday morning asked them to also check my AC even if nothing wrong with it. I was expecting to pay around $450 for the total.When I came to get the car they gave me a bill of $615.00. I was so down and disappointed .Then I turned the car on, the engine check light is on, but it was never on before . Plus they did not even bother to do the oil change,.... I have to wait till Monday to go there and get the engine light off and the oil change done bit the oil still dirty. Briefly they don't care much about customers but money. I think all the good things said about their service had been done by their families and friends to attire clientele. That's the worst experience I ever had.

I've been using this company and family ran business for many years now. The Gunters and their mechanics have always taken care of my vehicle needs and performed the work at a very reasonable cost. I have my regular oil changes done here as well as numerous other repairs on my vehicles from shocks, struts, AC work, and of course tires. I highly recommend this locally ran business in the heart of downtown Cleveland. I'm sure you'll get the same great service!

I used to go to Family Tire for all my oil change and tire rotation needs. I also bought tires there, once. Someone had warned me that Family Tire was dishonest but I was always met with friendly people so I continued doing business there. I recommended them to a friend one day and she took her vehicle there. They gave her quotes for several items that needed fixed including one that was over $600. She took it to another place for a second opinion and that expensive item was not in need of replacement. Because I'm somebody that doesn't like change, I still returned for my next oil change/tire rotation but they were too busy to take me so I went elsewhere. The mechanic at the next place told me that whoever had been rotating my tires, had been doing so in a way that was causing them to wear faster. I never went back to Family Tire for any work and I have spread the word that they truly can't be trusted. Beware!

We used to love this auto shop. However, in the last few months, they've gone down hill. We've had multiple vehicles that end up not being fixed correctly, my son's car has been there for a month and they haven't even looked at it, and we just had them put new tires on our van and they didn't even out the spare back in its place under the van! I won't be taking any more vehicles here.
