Great mechanic, I thought I was going to have to sell my truck to the junk yard, but Tovar was able to fix the timing chain, and now it's running great. I also had the check engine light on two different occasions, and he was responsive on addressing them both times. Highly recommend!

I'm very disappointed. he has done work for me before, but communication is horrible. he actually left me high and dry with no contact. he was a no call no show and I hate leaving this review, but he's let me down. the excuse with the phone not working is not good enough. it's just too many excuses. I'm sorry, but I have to move on to someone more reliable.

I've had my wife Buick Enclave work on here and this man does quick and efficient work. Fair price and doesn't try to up sell you. I will definitely go back if there's something g I can't fix myself.

Alejandro "Alex" came to my home and replaced my front brake pads on my Malibu. He was friendly, professional and courteous. Glad that we met. Going to be hiring Alejandro for my future auto repair needs. Highly recommend.

I ve never really been keen on straying away from dealership mechanics. However, I decided to go local when I was having some car trouble and I m 100% glad I did. Alex showed up and communicated the problem clearly. He made multiple trips to make sure the job was completed and charged me almost 1/3 what the dealership was charging. He also didn t mind me sticking around for conversation and taught me how to fix the issue myself, if it ever arises again. I can t recommend him enough for any car troubles/issues.Great work. Great communication. Great person.

Scheduled with Alex 10 days prior to doing the repair on my vehicle 1100+ job on the day of indicates he s at the dentist in the morning that he would arrive by 1230 did not do so it has not called to reschedule. Do not use this individual. He is very deceptive.

Nice guy but.... Called him back because I had a weird noise coming from the part of the car he worked on the next day. He told me he could look at it but 10 days later. When he came back he couldn't figure it out and told me to "drive on it and see if it goes away". Which was crazy because it was my wife's car and her brakes! I called him the next week and he said he could get to me in a couple weeks. So all together I was down to one vehicle for well over a month. He never showed up after that and never answered any of my calls or texts, of which I asked for a refund. To my knowledge he (Alejandro) is the owner and only employee. I would advise anyone to avoid this guy. There's absolutely nothing you can do when he decides he can't fix your car.Service: Brakes

We needed our transmission replaced, along with a long list of other parts. The shops around town were quoting us insane amounts. Mr Tovar got it all done for about half the price of them and very quickly. Very nice person and great service.

15/10!!!! I called on Monday because my horn was out and I needed it looked at. He told me to come on Friday at noon. I went-he was on time and very nice. He looked over my car and told me what the problem was said he had to go get a part in to come back at five I came back at 5 o clock and he fixed it within five minutes. While I was there I asked him to take a look at something else (A screw head broken off in the place where I put my license plate so I have just had my license plate in my window) he also-fixed that within 5 minutes. And he didn t even charge me for it. Great guy, great service. All around an amazing experience.

Alex and his guy, can't remember his name came out and assessed our vehicle after we were given information at the dealership about repairs that needed to be done. They pinpointed the issue and fixed it at a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

By far the BEST mechanic I ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Fast, straight to the point and a good dude. And he s fully mobile! Came out and looked at my wife s jeep yesterday morning, ordered the suspension part(cv half shaft) we needed and came back last night and installed it! Took less than an hour. And don t get me started on the prices! Would ve cost me over a grand anywhere else. This was only $300. He deserves a 10 star rating! Had a exhaust manifold leak on my 2012 ram 1500. Took it to Alex he replaced both manifolds for a great price. He did an outstanding job and completed faster than I expected. I actually enjoyed getting my car worked on yesterday. Let me explain. When you are a woman of a certain age, you get used to being treated like you don't know much when it comes to car buying or getting repairs done. I appreciate Alex and his professionalism. He did an excellent job on my brakes. I trust that he is a very knowledgeable mechanic. He did the work quickly and at a super price. As a bonus, I had a nice conversation with his lovely wife. You will not be disappointed. He is the real deal. If you are tired of being cheated out of your hard earned money, go see Alex.

My truck's door handle broke and he replaced it, fast. Is very polite, didn't treat me like I was a dunce just because I'm a woman. He took the time to actually explain what he had to do. I highly recommend going to him.

As a lady that knows nothing about cars, has trust issues and new to the area, Alex was a God Send! He walked me through everything and explained why my headlight was messed up and nothing was working lol. Fixed everything in less than 30 minutes Quick, efficient, and affordable! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

03 Toyota needed some work. This guy is far the best around Clarksville. I ve been living here for 2+ years, been to several mechanics who ripped me off and didn t even fix the right issues... but now I have finally found my mechanic! He strung me along for 2weeks stating we were waiting on parts to come in to fix my car. Waited and waited then we scheduled for Monday but Monday came and we had to push it for one more day due to one more part needed. Then Tuesday came and all of a sudden not responding and never showed up for our scheduled time. Still no response as to what's going on. DON'T USE THIS GUYService: General repairs & maintenance

I only have one star because it was the only way to leave a review .completely left me high and dry on my scheduled repair day never answered or returned my calls now I m stuck looking for a mechanic who can fix my car in 12 days before I drive 800 miles to NY, very poor business didn t respond to my text messages either.

Alex is awesome! Conversion van broke down in Clarksville on a Saturday night as we were returning to Minnesota. Alex met us in the parking lot where we were stranded and replaced the front wheel assembly. Excellent service and quality - much appreciated Alex.
