My husband had his brakes worked on in Nov. Took the car back because it was still making the same noise. Was told that it was just normal wear on the new parts. Also requested that the abs and traction control light be addressed. Guess what they was not repaired. We only drove the car about 2500 miles. Now we are scared to drive the car. We would love to hear from the district manager. I feel that we have been taken advantage of by this company. Would never recommend this shop to anyone.

Gateway has always been a good place to get a set of tires.I had them order a set of Michelin light truck tires for my father's truck. The tires came in overnight and I had them put on the next day.They have professional mechanics and always do a fine job mounting and balancing tires. They treat a patron's property with care and respect and always notify them if there are any issues regarding the safety of the vehicle. I would definitely recommend Gateway to anyone needing new tires,repairs on tires, new brakes, alignment issues ,or any mechanical issues with their vehicles.

This business has got to be full of the nicest people I have met in Clarksville. I ve lived here on two separate occasions and have yet to meet a crew this genuine. Keep up the great work and prices are the best you could ask for. This will be the only place I buy tires from and installed. Worked on my wife s car and put the wheels on my truck as well and balanced them perfectly.

Alternator had gone out on the highway. Got towed to Gateway as I have always dealt with this location. I had some other electrical issues they had to isolate. They also kept my truck on the lot for.the week I and my family were on vacation out of state at no additional cost! Parts labor and all plus a week on the lot for less than a 1k! Great people, great service!

I've been bringing my vehicles to Gateway Auto on Hornberger Lane since 2012.Their service seemed professional and reasonably priced. They made a good impression on me so I made Gateway my home for auto maintenance needs. I recommended them to alot of folks.However 2012 was long ago and far away, as my experiences with Gateway has been on a sharp decline over the past 2 years.At one point I began hearing a nonstop squeaking sound from the rear. So at my next routine maintenance visit, I asked Gateway to see if they could take care of it.Front desk folks say "We don't hear anything."Really? It's very distinct and annoying. Folks riding with me ask about the sound. Maybe next visit we'll get it!I lived with the squeaking until my next routine maintenance visit, back to Gateway oil change, r&b, and another stab at the squeaking."We can't hear anything.", again.Okay, so finally when I had a little free time, I managed to track it down myself. It was a loose spoiler-bolt that needed a couple turns of a wrench, and that squared it away.Fair enough, nobody's perfect, we all have bad days, sometimes we swing and miss.A few months later I began hearing a thumping sound coming from the front end. Maybe it's related to the new set of tires I bought from Gateway?Brought it in in for my regular visit, oil, r&b, suspension check, etc. and to investigate the thumping sound."We can't find anything"Next few oil changes over the following year, same thing. They can't hear anything. I can hear it, people who ride with me ask whats wrong with my car.So finally, I brought it in for routine maintenance, it was louder than before. I asked if they could see if they could take another stab at it, and I threw out some suggestions of what I thought it could be.Front desk guy says "Yeah we found it and fixed it."Finally! I was very happy, and gladly paid them the $120 they charged for the repair.I asked what it was, and the gentleman at the counter said he didn't know, the mechanic did something or other...and left it at that. invoice bills an hour for labor with no explanation.Fine, as long as the noise is gone, Im happy and wont have to deal with it or worry about it anymore. Got in my vehicle, drove off. "thump, thump, thump, thump, thump.". Zero change. Gateway charged me $120, told me they "fixed it", couldn't tell me what they fixed, and the noise is unchanged. Wow. Did you even road test it?So, when I got home I logged onto Gateway's website to grab their contact info and clicked on the "Email Me" link to email the manager: "Mark Wagner", I wrote a polite message about my experience, and suggested maybe I wasn't articulating the issue clearly enough to the staff and asked if we could figure something out, or have another tech look at it?Weeks pass, no response whatsoever. Maybe the link is broken, who knows.So finally I had some time off, crawled under my vehicle, and immediately saw a problem. Two brackets that hold the lower bumper cover assembly in place were clearly broken, causing the bumper fascia to shudder in the wind, producing the noise I was hearing. I replaced the broken parts, noise is completely gone.What's wild to me is, I'm just an average joe, but these "trained professionals" at Gateway failed to see the issue the 4 times I brought it in.Ya'll couldn't see those broken brackets right there in front of the oil filter when you put it on the lift? While performing an oil change? And supposedly looking for a problem that might be causing noise from the front end? Four times in a row? What did you "fix" that you charged me $120 for?What happened here? Incompetence? Dishonesty? Negligence? Apathy?At this point I question whether you even changed the oil & filter.So, I'm done with Gateway, I've completely lost all faith and trust in these folks. I have no doubt alot of folks must have good experiences with Gateway, but the lip service and the $120 charge for nothing finally clinched it for me.If ya'll did me this way, you're certainly doing it to others.

Update. I've come to realize this place is a joke. The guy that wouldnt stop touching me after i asked him to stop already multiple times and threatened to hit me after I said no more is still working there long after I was let go with no punishment. His name is John. You know the tire guy thats been there for 20 plus years. Pretty sure I was pushed out of that bussiness after I had reported John and HR did not care and did nothing but make him go on vacation. If Gary is still there tell him to ask what John said about his daughter. Go ahead bring yours car here I watched at least 5 wheels fall off peoples cars while I was there because the tire techs are not trained properly. This is nothing but the truth so dont get mad. Truth hurts.

I dropped my truck off and was told the alignment would be done in no more then two hours. I came back three hours later and the truck wasn t even moved. The service writer told me the tech had a broke down car on his lift! You only have one lift? Nobody else in the shop could do the job? Excuses he gave me, along with his I don t care attitude. Will never go back.

People were nice but . Headlight not working. Told I needed a new ballast . Dealership wanted >$900 just for the part which Gateway said they couldn t get. Son in law found one at an auto parts store for $400. He spent all day changing it out & the headlight still didn t work. Checked the fuse box & found one burned out. Changed it & headlight worked. Put old ballast back in & it still worked. Why didn t trained technicians check the fuse first????? We went based on their recommendation & as amateurs took their advice. Not sure if auto parts store will refund the money on the ballast. If not your business cost me > $400 & my son in law a whole day!!

Gateway was very good experience. They were unable to align my because of worn bushings. There was no charge for them to put it on the rack and check the unferside of the car from bumper to bumper. Will definately return!

My husband and I always use this location for our tire needs, and every time we have such a great experience! Yesterday I noticed I needed new tires on the way to work, and they were replaced (at an extremely affordable cost) before 10 am. I was fully prepared to have to wait days due to the weather and the holidays, but Josh and the team did a great job helping us out quickly. Thank you for all that you do!

Gateway tires has superior customer service with a clean welcoming waiting space and a wide selection pf tires in stock. Jeremy, was very helpful from my first visit for a comparative local price quote to helping me schedule the appointment by phone and making sure I knew my car was ready for pick up. During my experience they were prompt, fair, honest and reliable.

I cannot rave enough about this place! My roommate called about getting tires for his Dodge Challenger in the afternoon. He said he would order the tires and have them there that same day. Best price in town and super fast service. I am very impressed with not only the pricing, but also how amazing the customer service was.

I don't care what city I'm in if there's a gateway tire Service I'm going today proved it again I live in Nashville drove to Clarksville today and noticed a very bad vibration in my tire I called gateway spoke to a nice gentleman named Jeremy who made sure I was taking care of and back on the road at the time I needed to be back on the road to make it to my destination on time I wholeheartedly appreciate Jeremy and the technician who took care of my car they were nice dependable and I highly recommend anybody in the Clarksville area to choose them

Hands down best customer service I have ever experienced. Was going through town on family vacation and had a tire issue. Stopped at Gateway right when they opened in the morning with no appointment and they took care of my issue within 20 minutes. These guys rock!

Man, these guys are awesome!! I had a tire on my truck go down while at work. I got enough air in it to make it to Gateway. They found a screw in it, put a patch on the inside, and didn't charge me anything!I most definitely will look to them for future mechanical issues!

While I have used this tire shop before today was a complete disappointment. Called the day before to inquire about tires for my transit van 350. Told they had a KENDA tire that would fit. That it was a size larger but would be ok. I asked three times if they were sure about that? Dropped the van off, walked for an hour came back and it was already done .except that the KENDA tires ARE too big and rub on the front wheel well. They didn t really have a solution other than to put on a brand I have never heard of or put on a tire that was NOT 10 ply. It is kind of unbelievable to me. I have paid for tires that don t fit, now I wait again for them to put on the old tires so I can leave an waste another couple hours going somewhere else.

Great price, great service. Awesome experience all around. *UPDATE 4/27/22* I went back for my 2nd set of tires today after calling Steve the day b4 to order them. Upon inspection they actuality told me I didn't need new ones yet! I told them I was about to drive many miles west but they assured me I would be fine and even checked all my fluids for me topping off my oil at no charge. Karen at the front desk was amazing and super sweet. Her smile lights the place up and she had mad customer svc skills. Steve is always a pleasure and so helpful. I didn't even check around this time for prices before going there. Glad now I didn't.

I won't be taking my business anywhere else when it comes to tires that's for sure, This place is got to be the most honest place that I've ever been to when it comes to servicing vehicles.It can be a very busy location but I totally understand why, so I had brakes and rotors ordered for my 2018 Land Rover because my brakes were squeaking once the weather warmed up, And I thought it was either dust in them or time to change out my brakes. My car only has about 48,000 mi on it but I figured that was the problem. And gateway checked all my brakes and rotors all around my vehicle and told me that it could have just been the change in weather that my squeaking is happening, And they told me that my brakes and rotors were just fine, when they could have easily made the $900 off of me that they were going to make if I would have had the full service done. It's hard to find honesty like that nowadays when everyone's out to get your dollar, I have multiple vehicles that I've had serviced here and it's always the same just genuine customer service. And they try to offer discounts anyway they can, this will continue to be my go-to place when it comes to servicing vehicles.

Brought my VW Passat in for new tires and was greeted/treated fairly from the first phone call! They were extremely friendly and informative for the entire service, even showing me an issue with my lugs as they were working on my car!Being the type of person who likes to work on their own vehicle, admitting the one type of service I can t do myself, they made me feel comfortable leaving my car with them! Only had to wait an hour for the service to be completed.Hands down my new go to place for tires! You won t be disappointed with these folks!

I cannot rate gateway tire high enough! The staff here are superb. I had a flat tire and they took me in anyway when they were about to close. If you ever have car issues, gateway tire is the place to go! I cannot thank their team enough.

Had a new tire put on for 2 days and tire fell apart brought it back told me it's the truck about 100 miles on tires in town use only. Edit almost 2 weeks after got 2 used tires from Mike's used tires good guy nice to deal with. tires from him still running good, not new but better than a new tire with no warranty or company to back it .got verbal harass as well at gateway as well as not let back to my truck by the owner... instead of a apologizing for conduit. His reply is smoke and mirrors of what happened was not my truck wish I could do pics to show everyone the damage to a new tire with 100 miles down to the metal belts . Have 2 used tires with 600 miles on them and look fine .....again not the truck please message me if anyone that Has read my review and like to know anymore .I will try to reply to post thanks

I will definitely come back for my cars needs! They were very quick and very kind. I was told by two other places I needed a new tire due to a nail being in one of mine. I came in ready to purchase a new tire and they said it was able to be patched and they even rotated my tires. I feel like they actually care about doing what's reasonable and right for their customers and aren't just doing their job for an extra dollar. Thank you all, for all of your kindness and prompt work.

Traveling from SC west and ran into brake problems on my RV. After a few stops around town and a few phone calls, Mike told me to bring it in and he would try and work me in. He put Rodger on it and he found the problem within minutes. After explaining the problem to me and making some suggestions, we agreed on what to do and he fixed me up. They saved me from having to stay all night and got me back on the road. You don t run into these kind often, I m just thankful I did!!! Thanks again guys!

I have been here several times and have had great experiences with every visit. They are honest (tough to find these days) and priced below most other places. Plus the staff are the best around. Recommended if you need general service or tires. Will go here again!

Extremely professional, understanding, great work, and I ll just say, so fair with the price that I felt guilty. I went in for a tire re-bead due to a small leak I could not fix on my own. This was my first time ever coming here and the mechanic made me feel like I was the only customer they had even though they were busy. Not only did he re-bead, re-seal, and fixed my steel rim issue, he also re-patched the tire professionally, placed the tire back on my suv, and put the spare back where it belonged, charging me the lowest price ANYONE could charge. Truly, they have earned my service from now on and I know where I will be going to get anything done on my vehicles.
