They fixed my mom's car. Found out the last place my mom had the oil changed, they over filled it. A bill of 63 instead of 3000 is much better the car is old 1999 GMC Jimmy has some wear and tear but still running good. That is why of the leak. Thanks.

Great service. Heater core hose failed while on the road. Had my vehicle towed to Crain s and was told it could take a couple days due to it being last minute which I was ok with and understood. About 4 hours after it was dropped off they had it fixed and back in the road. I know this may not always be the case and I got lucky they were able to get it done so quickly. Crain s will be my new go to mechanic.

I have been coming here for over 5 years now with all the car issues that I do not know how to do myself. The team that Tony has are amazing and professional, they have fixed me up more times that I can count. This is the only mechanic shop that I completely trust!

I don t know of any people that could be more honest, more kind or, have any higher integrity than the folks at Crain s. The shop area is so clean, you can eat off the floor. I drove 40 miles one way for an oil change just because it s simply a pleasure. I don t know how to recommend these folks any higher.

Best repair shop in town. I recently had an a/c issue and called around lunch and they got me in the same day. I have since returned with another issue and received the exact same quick service. Was quoted 1300 from the dealership and Tony did same work for 300 and same day. I will not go back to the dealership and will only let Tony work on my cars. I highly recommend Tony and his shop for anything concerning car repair.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, Auto exhaust system repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C recharge, Oil change

I ve personally known Tony Kennedy for over 30 years and he s always taken great care of my cars. I know that s how I ve gotten so many years/miles out of them. There s no one else I trust with my cars. In fact, pretty much my whole family takes their cars to him and only him. So if you re looking for someone who is honest and will get the job done right the first time, go to Crain s.

Crain s automotive is a top notch mechanic shop. Called about getting my brakes looked at and they had me in the shop within a day and my vehicle back to me within 3 days (which they told me at time of drop off they would probably have to keep it a couple days) with fresh brakes. I brought my car here yesterday to get a Tune Up. The staff was very friendly and professional. I didn't have to wait very long to get my car worked on, and they explained everything that they did to me. I will be bringing my car to them again soon.

Incredibly rude staff. Fought on the phone with both the extremely UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE secretary and even the boss. They accuse you of accusing them if you have any new issues with your vehicle and then promptly hang up. A guilty conscious maybe? Who knows. All I know is that we wouldn't trust them with a Fisher Price tricycle. Be sure to read *ALL* the reviews before you take your car to this business folks.Service: Transmission

Don t usually leave reviews but I am beyond pleased with the service I received! Got it towed in and they repaired it by the next day! Very affordable price and even went above and beyond.I hit a curb at the perfect angle to mess up my axle and control arm, and for some reason my door wouldn t open. Everything is all back to normal and I can even open my door now. Thank you crains! I ll be recommending you to all of my friends.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. If I could give negative stars I would. We have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this establishment. I have NEVER had such a tooth and hair pulling experience. The first time we dropped off the vehicle apparently all it needed was a fuel pump and air filter. We pick the vehicle up and it messed up within 6 MINUTES of leaving the place. Was told maybe just go get some gas?? which it had plenty of and that well we test drove it. Test drove it where? Around the parking lot?? I couldn t go over 20 mph with a transmission full of water. If the vehicle had been inspected how was this not caught the first time? I had to pull off in congested traffic and *WE* paid to have it towed AGAIN to this place. We picked it up again today and now the fuel sensor is broken and the check engine light is on. The mechanic went out and started the car for us so he could well see the lights on the dash. No one said anything, no one even mentioned the gas light or the gauge even though it s clearly visible and was sitting BELOW E when the vehicle is started. I rushed to the gas station because I was afraid I was going to run out of gas just to find out now my fuel sensor is busted. (which was working fine after the fuel pump repair.) We called once at home to let them know about the gas sensor & check engine light. The CSR was extremely rude to us. She even hung up on us. Any customer would be upset that TWICE we have had issues after picking up our car. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Been several times and this is the only place I trust with my car. They are very knowledgeable on what they do and will not beat around the bush or try to sell you something you don t need. If I could give 100 stars I would!!! Bobbie has been amazingly helpful throughout the entire process, she even sent me reference to a cheap tow company. She explained everything thoroughly, very reasonable pricing, I for once don't feel like I'm being ripped off as a female in the car industry! Awesome job. Great customer service

I m an extremely picky person when it comes to others working on my vehicles so finding a new reliable trustworthy mechanic each time we move proves to be the biggest challenge. Crains has been nothing short of understanding, quick and efficient at getting my vehicle seen asap. I originally had it towed in for locked up brakes knowing full well it was going to need an entire front brake job. I had mentioned a few other issues I had noticed but spaced on a couple others. Without me even saying a word about the ac they found and diagnosed my A/C issue as well and were able to fix it the same time as my brakes!They have been very understanding with getting me back in for other concerns as well!Services: Auto A/C recharge, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes

I am so disappointed in this business. I had bought a motor only to have never had it placed in my vehicle. Unfortunately, my car quit running again and I took it to another shop only to be told that I had the same motor (my new motor was never placed in the car) I know everyone is trying to make up for 2020 decline but don t rob honest people in the process. And now I have repeat the process again. May this business reap all of their ill intentions and deceitful acts and no one has to suffer them ever again. And the one star is for how quickly they gave me my car with the old motor back I should have known that no one can put in a motor that quicklyService: Engine repair

I took my truck to another shop and they quoted me at over $10,000. I brought it here and they did the same work for less than $1,300. They were very efficient and professional, and kept me updated on the repairs as they went. By far the best automotive service I've ever had and I will be referring everyone I know to come here

Been going here for years. Best place to get ANYTHING done for your vehicle.Crew is professional and friendly. Bobby, in the front office, is a joy to work with.Owner, Tony, is the BEST. They do great work and are honest, reliable and upstanding. I wouldn't take my vehicle anyplace else.

They told me my car would be ready on Thursday then prolonged it to Friday. When I called Friday to see if my car was ready they told me no and that it would be ready Monday. An hour later they called my mom and told her that the car was ready instead of me, which was 30 minutes before they closed. I tried to call them and pay over the phone at 3:47, and they do not close until 4. They did not answer the phone for me at all. Very unprofessional!!

Went here to get a rear main seal replaced on my 89 Mustang Gt. Tony gave me a day to drop it off and was able to get it back to me in a very reasonable time. Very satisfied in the work complete and will for sure return for anything that I don't have time to do or knowledge. Thank you!

Great service. Needed tire repair & was told other places I had to leave it. Should have come here first because Tony took care of problem while I waited. Great place!
