Best auto repair shop in town. They were able to find what was wrong with my vehicle almost immediately and they were able to fix it within the same day. All the staff care and are courteous and cordial with everybody. Trust this place and will bring my vehicle here from now on.

Friendly staff, did great work, and the cost was half the price of other local shops. I was able to get my car in the same day I called, and it was ready the next day. They don t try to upsell you on stuff you don t need and were honest and transparent. I would recommend them to any friend or family member who needs work done on their vehicle.

Carl & Nick took great care of me & my 22-year old Buick s air conditioner. I made an appointment for a Thursday & Carl called me with the diagnosis I was honestly expecting a bad compressor. Again, a 22 y/o car @ 120k miles so I m actually impressed it lasted this long.Though I grew up in the area, I now live in Maryland & explained I needed to be back before the next work week. Carl understood & said they d try their best to get it back to me before close of business on Friday, which they did despite having a heavy workload as usual. I really appreciate Carl, Nick & everyone at Maxi. Carl said it s not just a job for them, they strive to satisfy the customer s needs & I believe him.As other posters have noted, they don t lack for work to do & only advise doing the things that really need to be done. They explain everything very well so you don t need to be a mechanic to understand. Their prices are very fair & reasonable. As someone from a maintenance/service/trades background, I can say without any reservation that you can trust their work & work ethic.So get your broken vehicle over to Carl & Nick, & be sure to bring respect, courtesy, & patience with you. Let me start off and say this was the best place.if you looking to decide where too take your car too for any need or maintenance maxi in eastridge should be your go to. My car needed alloooottttt of work done and they got it done in a timely manner Carl the manager there was super nice and helpful. I love my car now it s running brand new. Thanks to everyone at Maxi

I took my 2006 Nissan in for a front end alignment. Carl called me about every one hour and told me the estimate, the status, and everything else. I cannot say enough superlatives about this place, but take your car there for everything.

Cars issues are like headaches and feel like MAXI AUTOSERVICES (East Ridge) is the right pill hahahaThis is definitely the best shop! Carl and Nick manage this place perfectly they are professional, very honest. I've noticed they handle so much work however they always have my car ready quickly. 100% recommended.

Nick Holkeboer was very helpful with my muffler selection. He provided me resources for me to look up and raised proper precautions from his past feedbacks from previous similar installs. Grateful to have a technician guide you with your decisions when there are endless options.

I trust these guys. And so does my family. They don't try to up-sell you on stuff you don't need or pad the bill. They aren't going to tell you something needs fixing if it doesn't (They stay BUSY. They don't need to make up jobs.) Experience makes them great at troubleshooting. Their work is excellent. Their demeanor professional. But most important...They don't take advantage of the fact I'm pretty dumb when it comes to cars. (Suspension system is fine-you just needed air in your tire.)Service: Steering & suspension repair

I had a great customer service experience with Maxi. I had a new catalytic converter and some replacement coils installed. They were helpful, straightforward, and had my Honda diagnosed, repaired, and back on the road within less than 48 hours. If you re in need of exhaust work, or really any kind of repair I can t recommend them enough. They provide great service at a great price, and didn t try to sell me work I didn t need. I left very satisfied, especially after only paying a fraction of what I had been quoted elsewhere!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto exhaust system replacement

I was loyal for 16 yrs but after this, nope. First of all, they are very disrespectful. I had a kill switch replaced a few months ago and was told come back if it still gives me issues and they would disable it. I barely drive this vehicle but it was still giving issues. I came back and they insisted it had to be more wrong. I just wanted the switch disabled and an oil change. They had it several days, I called to check, I was told they were about to get to it. A hour and a half later I get a call that my valve cover is leaking along with multiple other things, which they were unlikely to have had time to find ALL they tried saying was wrong. Plus my vehicle definitely was not leaking oil before. They wanted to charge me $1800 for non existing problems. When I picked it up my seat had not even been moved. Every time I've had anyone look at my vehicle the seat has to be moved, I'm 5 2, I doubt that they did anything.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

absolutely AWFUL!!!! Nick was having a real bad day & cussed my husband & I out & told us to kick rocks!! Have used them numerous times & referred several people to them.. never again!!Would NOT recommend!!Take your vehicle somewhere else!!

IF YOU NEED PROMPT SERVICE DONT GO HERE! Bad experience with this place! We had a car towed here after it broke down. After 3 days they still had not contacted us! When I called to ask about it the guy told me I should have made an appointment! I asked him how I m supposed to make an appointment for a vehicle breakdown!?We wish we had chosen another car repair shop to begin with. After the 3rd day we ended up paying a $65 tow bill to move it to another repair shop just to get diagnostics for our vehicle! IF YOU NEED PROMPT SERVICE DON T GO HERE!! We won t use them again.

All I can say is I am truly grateful for this location! No one had room for an emergency fix on a Saturday morning but Maxi took care of me! They were nice and very quick about getting us back on the road. We sat in the waiting area and watched them fix our car! Other shops told us we had to leave it and we told them we were traveling through and they acted like they didn t care! This shop quickly got us back up and running! The longest part was waiting on the part to be delivered! If you traveling and have a mechanical failure near ringold!! Go to this location! You won t be disappointedService: Battery

I went here a couple of months ago because my car started over heating. I was literally less than a mile from maxi and pulled up in their parking lot and my car was smoking and broke down. The manager or who ever was in charge told me he was POSITIVE my engine blew or head gasket, without even looking at it, didn t seem interested in looking at it and told me to pretty much get lost. My dad told me to bring the car back to them so they can actually look at it, so I leave my car with them over night, and the next day I call them to see what was wrong with the car he told me the head was blown, At that time I didn t have the money to fix such an expensive repair, so I tried saving for months with out a car, struggling, living paycheck to paycheck.Finally, when I have the money to fix my car I take it to another repair shop and they told me it was just a hose, my battery and my fan Maxi lied to me and made me eventually spend thousands on temporary transportation like Ubers and rides. I would not recommend using them, because when I spoke with some people I work with they said they had a similar experience with the exact same maxi.Service: Auto maintenance

I liked both times that I have gone to Maxi, they resolved my problems. First change was cat install and muffler repair. They fixed it and called me the same day I dropped off ahead of schedule and it was fair price. Second time took a little longer but they did fix all the problems I reported, only thing was the temp gauge was fixed but reads wrong. If it wasn't for that I would have given five stars. Jonathan the shops manager is very pleasant to talk with and very competent. I will be doing business here again.Update: 09/2018After going to this location several times and spending allot of money on repairs for the last 3 years for all my cars it was a shame that they misdiagnosed a repair on my wifes car and it ended up costing me 200 more because I went with their recommendation. They tried to make it right but it was to late. They failed in consistency and education. It will be a long time before I will back if ever. Buyer beware.UPDATE: 10/10/2018...I received a call from manager Nick about my service and review. Nick unfortunately after conversing with me made me feel like it was my fault that I chose the wrong option when I got my service. His offer for resolution was very general and in know way made me feel better about going back to this business. I am still out over $200.00. I did not receive a resolution.Update: 08/25/2022 I have dropped off my cars here for the last year with no issues. My wife has been coming here this past year while I was deployed and on 5 separate occasions they have resolved my car problems with good pricing and military discount that was offered. I appreciate the at Maxi and I feel that it would discourteous to leave the 1 star rating for one bad experience and I am now revising that rating. I had taken my car to another auto shop. I was told that I needed an alternator. I was charged $560.00 to have an alternator replaced. However, the car continued to have the same difficulty starting after the work was done. I took my car to several of the automotive stores to have my battery checked and I was told that the battery was good!I took my car to Maxi Auto andThey diagnosed the problem as having a bad battery and gave me a print out, which showed the actual health of the battery. I was able to take the print out to the store where I purchased the battery, which was still under warranty.The shop staff was very professional and honest, and I felt very comfortable withthe diagnosis. I had the battery replaced and my car has started everyday with no problems.Thank you guys,great job!!They get pretty covered up withcustomers, but it was worth the wait..

I dropped my car off for an oil change early one morning and asked the manager to check a couple of other small issues I was having as well, just to make sure that they weren t leading to larger issues. He gave me a call to let me know my serpentine belt needed replaced but that everything else was in good shape, and that he had checked other parts for me as well.Very responsive and had my car back to me quickly. It was my first experience with these guys but I feel as if they went above and beyond!

This is a great place to get your car work done. Everyone is extremely nice and they have great service! I called last minute for a muffler delete on my Ford Focus and they got me in the same day even though it was not long before closing. I'd definitely recommend them and would go there again!

I have continued to come to the east ridge location for years because I get the same service. Professionalism and a real effort to get my car done as quickly as possible. Even as backed up as they get, they seem to fit me in and get me on the road as soon as possible. I have an older car so things are starting to happen,but I have the trust in this staff to fix it and not take advantage of someone who knows nothing about cars. Thanks guys!

Before you let anyone else repair your car you need to take it to Maxi in East Ridge. They are honest, reliable, reasonably priced, and they get the work done quickly. I recently had another establishment tell me I needed all sorts of repairs totaling thousands of dollars. I got a second opinion from Maxi and I am so glad I did. Most of the so-called "repairs" (which were supposedly absolutely necessary) turned out to be bogus. Of the few repairs the car truly needed, Maxi fixed everything and did so at a fraction of the price quoted by the other establishment. It is refreshing to know that honest mechanics still exist -- and you can find them at Maxi in East RidgeServices: Transmission, Carburetor cleaning, Steering & suspension repair

On a long road trip down to southern Georgia, our 2004 Ford excursion developed loud noises in the back tire. When We stopped, wheel became locked. We were towed to Maxi auto center The only place open on a Saturday. We spoke with Carl and told him we were on a road trip. We were promised that the vehicle would at least be looked at before closing at 3. They not only did that but also stayed later & removed broken emergency brake calipers and cleaned up broken/ dislodged springs/ bolts. Cost was minimal and we were back on the road by 4:45. I called and made an appointment for my ac to be serviced at 1:49pm on Monday July 31st...my name was taken and i was told to have my car dropped off tuesday morning Aug 1st..I made those arrangements and had someone take the car there just to be turned away and told I may have called the wrong location..I confirmed it was all correct..then still turned down..and told by nick that he hopes I feel better after I leave this review
