The guys at Dover have been outstanding to work with. They are my go-to source for all of my customer head repairs and have done a great job every single time. I highly recommend Dover Cylinder Head and trust them to get the job done right!

Drove 2hrs to get there, dropped off 2 sets of heads. Very friendly/knowable. Took time to listen to what I wanted. Explained thier processes. I was impressed. I will update this review when I pick up the heads.Update: I told Mark when I dropped off my heads that I was in no rush, 6 months later I called and Mark told me my head were ready and I could pick them up when I was in town. Being honest as possible, I was blown away !They line bored my cam towers because I bought new cam caps. Thier workmanship is 2nd to none !The valve jobs were spot on !I tried to find the least little flaw and was unsuccessful.So if you are needing quality work on your heads, I personally highly recommend Dover cylinder head repair shop. It's not always that you find a shop that does the kind of work that these guy do.I got very Lucky and I can't express how satisfied I am.My hat is off to Mark and his team.Thanks a Million

I got a 1961 Ford Econoline it ran bad it had burnt valves wore out guides seals were bad head was Warp. Since it was a 61 it was a leaded motor so it had to have hardened exhaust seats put in for the valve new guides and bows and shaved to level it and they also had to flatten the exhaust manifold seats. It's like brand new now $480 later.

I've taken them 3 heads from uncommon vehicles. Every time, they've recognized what vehicles they were off of before I even said a word. It's one of the few places around that can do crack repairs on aluminum heads themselves. The machinists there are always happy to show you why something was (or needs to be) done. Prices are fair, and they have always gotten the work done for me in a week or less. Zero complaints.

Had a cat head checked out there. They charged me for pressue checking the head and milling the head. The head still had gasked material on the block side. Also valves leaked oil when we went to install so it was not pressue testeThe next cyclinder head shop verified it had not been milled or pressure checked. I will not do business there no more!

Doesn't honor the warranty. Car started smoking after I had the head totally rebuilt. He said it wasn't his fault and refused to fix the problem. He said that I would have to pay for a new rebuild if he where to do it over again. Without even looking at it.

Car jumped time so needed new valves and head work. They did an excellent job and pretty well priced. Very friendly too. Highly recommend.

Out of town and ran my Jeep hot! Warped the head and was in a rush. They took it in decked it and checked for cracks in 2 hours. Awesome guys. Thanks for a rush job!!!!!

I dropped my head off with valve job needed and weld up few days later boom there done .not many shop's in this area do aluminium repairs .so take advantage of it .but they should give out stickers for your ride ......
