In 2022, I brought my car in and it went smoothly (good scheduling and repairs). So, when my car needed a minor repair I brought it in a second time. Scheduling was good even though it was far out and near the holidays. Repairs were done correctly and they let me keep the old parts as I requested.However, after having my car back I noticed personal belongings on my dashboard were missing, even though they were left there the first time my car had repairs. Why would someone bother them if they didn't before? I thoroughly checked the car for them and know for a fact they were there when I dropped the car off. I am upset by this because they had sentimental value to me. Also, after repairs my car had a sensor stop working, but it resolved itself after a while.Overall I was pleased with the quality of the work and communication. The shop updates you well on repairs and about anything that comes up, but only works if they call you directly because the automated system isn t accurate.

I'm not quite sure how well there going to be on my truck. I haven't dropped it off yet. But on my wife car they did an amazing job and we are very please. The do communicate very well with the insurance company so I'm very thankful for that. The office staff seem to be wonderful very responsive as soon as you walk through the door.

I had to get my car repaired due to hitting a deer a few months ago. I was really dreading it because I ve taken other vehicles I ve owned to other shops in the same area & never had that great of an experience. However, Classic Collision on Test Drive really impressed me! They made the process very smooth and easy. Amber kept me informed on the status of my repair throughout the process. They did a fantastic job on the repair & my car looks brand new again. I hope I never have to get my car repaired again but if I do I will be returning to this location due to the outstanding customer service & amazing quality of work. From start to finish Abra handled this repair poorly. Initially they had my jeep for approximately 2 weeks; which honestly seemed totally reasonable. After the initial 2 weeks, John Meyers (who was handling the repair) called to inform me that some of the parts would be delayed in coming in so he asked if I wanted to drive the jeep in it's current condition as the body work had been completed; they were just waiting on the new bumper and wheel. We agreed that i would come get the jeep, but before I came to get it I asked had he driven it (as the jeep had been towed to them because it was not driving correctly). John informed me he had not driven the jeep but would do so. He informed me after driving it that he had noticed issues with the ABS, steering, and a "spongy break" so he took it to Crown Jeep in Chattanooga to have them look it. I was a little upset with this as Crown had done a poor job on previous repairs, but John reassured me that he does a ton of business with them and it would be fine. After a few days i picked the jeep up with the repairs to the steering, braking, and ABS system allegedly done. I then went to pick up the jeep and wait on the parts to arrive. Immediately after driving the jeep it was clear that the problems had not been fixed. When backing up and cutting the wheel there was a horrible grinding and dragging that had been there since the accident. Of course I notified John who asked that I bring the car in "immediately". We rode together and he also noticed the issue so drove me to get my second rental car and we started this process all over again. After another almost 2 weeks and having a different place ( a facility that works on four wheel drive vehicles - turns out they had to replace my axle which was missed the first go around) handle the repairs I got the call to pick my jeep up. So a month into this thing and i finally get my car back to find that the bumper is not the same ( see below, brush guard bar is missing on the new bumper-picture below) and they did not even replace the wheel ( see picture below with scratches on the wheel). These are all fairly minor issues, but they all complied to a completely unprofessional and frankly awful experience. I would not recommend Abra to anyone needing repairs. This is all horribly dishonest, as I am sure they charged my insurance for all of this. I have attached pictures below so you can see the different bumpers and the relatively minor damage that took over a month to repair (mostly because they kept missing what was actually wrong) the first three are after the wreck, the last two of the new bumper.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim

I went in on 01.21.2021 to get an estimate on replacing my side passenger mirror.I made contact with the older lady in the office first then with John who told me he would have to order the replacement for my Chevy Equinox. Total cost $481.27Mr. John told me it could be done in the same day. I received a call on Monday Feb 1st stating it arrived and I drop it off anytime for repair. Just not between 11 and 12 as the technicians go to lunch.My off day was on the 4th of Feb 2021 and I arrived at 8 a.m. it was about 8:15 before a technician came out as they were in a meeting and I was okay with that, I'm patient.Mirror fit fine, the blindspot light works, it adjust just like the original, so for that I was extremely satisfied.What I did not expect was to have my service completed only to get in my vehicle and see tracked in dirt from the technician who pulled the vehicle into the shop. I was FURIOUS!!!Not sure why I would even have to ask for anyone to clean it up as it should have been a courtesy to apply paper as they do when you take it to any dealership, or anyplace thst will have access to the inside of your car.That was unprofessional and as a buisness that should not have to be explained.

Update: (8/31/2020)They are working with me to resolve the issues and will update accordingly. However since it has been raining so much lately I have noticed that the rain water is leaking into my truck from the top (roof or windshield).Original: (7/24/2020)My less than a year old truck was damaged in the tornado. Not happy with the time it took to complete repair. I dropped off truck on May 4th was only able to pick up today July 24th. Also there was lack of communication on their part. The quoted amount of time was 24 days. The good thing about new vehicles are they have trackers in them. I was up front with them that my insurance company only provided a rental car for 1 month. And they let my truck sit in the back lot for 3 weeks before touching it which took up almost all of my rental car time. I pinged its location to see if they had begun work on it or not. The lady in the front office was very rude when I was picking up my truck as well. I will have to take the truck back there for some paint imperfections I have found already. Also they didn't fix/replace all the damaged parts and they scratched my leather interior when they had the truck apart. Very disappointed. Over all not a good experience.

Once my car was there John was great and gave me updates. The car looks great and they handled the changes directly with my insurance.Getting everything scheduled was not the best. The front desk reps at both locations do not make it easy to call and get information. I understand that each location may have different people but as a customer I am not aware of that process and I definitely felt like I was an inconvenience when I was calling to get scheduled.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Overall, it is a good place I feel. Friendly and professional, and I know from past experience that they do good work. After my vehicle's initial assessment, it did take about two weeks until I was able to bring it in for the work to begin. And then, unfortunately, my car was totaled out. I wish that they had been able to fix my car, as I know that they would have done a good job.Service: Body & Trim

Repaired my vehicle through an insurance claim. Repair was done on time and meet my expectations. Abra also did a courtesy exterior and interior cleaning. Updated me with repair costs and timeline. They were professional and helpful. My car was damaged due to hitting a deer and they worked with my insurance and I didnt have to do hardly anything. Once the parts came in, they repaired my car in a timely manner. I went in with a car that needed a driver side mirror replaced! Although they were terribly busy, the front desk lady found someone to help me! Jon Vanslyke was very personable, knowledgeable, and was extra speedy getting my new mirror ordered and installed! I have another vehicle that has some damage on body and a bumper to be replaced! It will most definitely go to these people! Besides being knowledgeable and courteous, they genuinely care! Hard to find these days for sure! Beginning with Joseph Wells who advised me when I first brought my car in for repair and ending with the delivery of my repaired and revitalized car to my residence, my experience with Abra Auto Body Repair at Chapman Road in Chattanooga has been outstanding in every respect.Joseph Wells, in particular, stood out as the single best person I have ever dealt with in the entire automotive industry! On each and every occasion when we communicated, he treated me with courtesy and respect. He also consistently communicated with me in a timely manner whenever there was an alteration in the plans to service my car. He often made suggestions on how to proceed when several options were open to me, and his advice was always well informed and given with my best interest in mind. Consequently, I can think of no better way to thank him than to provide Abra Auto Body Repair with this sterling review of his exemplary conduct and professional competence.Added to this, I must say that my car has never looked so good. Unfortunately I have had to use Abra 2x already this year. For one car was repaired and the other looks like it will be totaled. The repairs on the one car are great - I have looked all over and can't tell any difference between the original and repair work. Looks just like the original and a perfect paint match. In both cases, communication has been fantastic. John - the appraiser has been great to work with. I have had a message from him on the status of the estimates and repairs at least every 24 hours. Would highly recommend for quality of work, level of professionalism and the respect I received from their employees.

My car was in an accident and this was the local Kia dealership recommendation. They did a great job on taking care of my car and answering all my customers. John kept me updated and walked me through everything about my car. Definitely recommend and will be going back to them if I ever need additional work!

Abra Chapman is FANTASTIC to work with. Megan is extremely courteous and very responsive. My technician, Johnny Q, was professional and helpful in explaining the process to me. Their facility is very clean inside and out, definitely not what I expected and not what I have experienced from other auto body repair shops. I highly recommend this location specifically (Abra Chapman) for all your auto collision repair needs.

My wife's SUV was stolen then recovered. Not only was it is terrible shape aesthetically, but it had clearly been damaged by the thieves. Just this was a recipe for a tough couple of days. Next, the vehicle was taken to Abra on Chapman Rd. Thoughts ran through my head - will they "catch" everything that needs to be fixed, or will they give me a car back that breaks later? Will they repair everything properly? Am I in good hands? Can I trust these people? Let me tell you, you can trust John Corals. John was my primary point of contact. He walked the vehicle with me when I dropped it off, asked me questions about it. He explained what they would look for, how long it would take, etc. He communicated clearly and in a timely and professional manner. He reassured me that my car would be thoroughly inspected for all damages. And he was right. The team team at Abra spotted small cracks in the rear alloy wheels and a slight bend in the rear axle that resulted in totaling the vehicle. The Abra team saw things that I missed and reported them clearly and accurately to me and to my insurance company. I am thankful for John and his honesty and professionalism. Perhaps most of all I was thankful, in the midst of a stressful time for my family, to work with someone who I could trust and who was reassuring throughout the process. Any damage big or small, go to Abra, ask for John.

John Myers was knowledgeable and professional everytime we spoke. He made sure my vehicle was completely repaired and on the day he said it would be finished. The woman working the front desk was very friendly and polite. My vehicle was brought to this location after extensive damage in an automobile accident when an individual ran a traffic light and struck me almost head on. The entire staff at ABRA went above and beyond to assist me in what was a very difficult period. Ultimately my vehicle was determined to be a total loss. The staff were very helpful in assisting me in providing information to my insurance company. Should I ever be unfortunate enough to need the services of a similar business again I would not hesitate to return to this location.

I received a text message from Abra asking that I do a review. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the quality of the work because after having my vehicle for 17 days, they said it was a total loss. I received 5 text messages over a period of 11 days letting me know they were on target to complete my repair by a certain date. That date came and went. I contacted them 3 times and was finally able to talk to someone who could give me an update only to find out they were not going to fix it. The lack of reliable communication over that long period of time is unacceptable customer service in my opinion.

Had some collision damage repaired that involved replacing bedside stickers, which I had them swap from ORM colored to OEM black/gray, repairing aluminum bedside, removing/replacing trim, repairing bumper, and painting. They were great at informing me of updates on my vehicle, but there were a couple of items overlooked. My spare tire subwoofer was not connected to the wire harness due to incorrect wiring, and two of my luggage tie downs in the luggage compartment were not installed. They do a pretty good job. My front bumper fell off and they replaced it and within a few days of them replacing, the clips broke and it was hanging off again and they said there was nothing they could do about it, even though they should have fixed it. The front desk people are friendly and they to help with whatever you need. However they are a little on the slow side so I always call and make sure all my parts are in before I drop my car off.

Absolute 10/10 customer service the entire ordeal. I was driving down the highway when a big rock smacked my windshield and cracked it. Cathy got my glass shipped overnight and a next day appointment. The installation went faster than expected and the glass has a warranty:)
