Blackwell Automotive is one of the best repair places I've been to. They have friendly, personable staff at the front desk that are professional and that seem knowledgeable. There are waiting areas that provide comfortable seating, snacks, beverages, and a wide range of reading materials. Also, they have one with a television and one without for quiet reading if desired. As far as I'm concerned they can take care of all my future auto needs! My car runs like a champ now.

Blackwell has yet to disappoint me. They are always precise and straight to the point. Service is kind and courteous and A-1 without the extreme dealer prices. They make you feel at home with their comfortable cozy waiting area with wifi and cable, snacks and computer stations. They have always provided my family excellent service and work. I recommend to everyone!

I ve been here twice for maintenance work on my Ford Escape and each time they ve been really kind, communicative, and knowledgeable. Their prices are average and they always let me know the price before doing any work. I haven t had any issues with the work they ve done. I would definitely recommend!

I haven't actually been a customer of this establishment, but I am a huge fan of the TLC show "My 600-lb. Life." And the owner of this establishment after the subject of S12E3 had her vehicle break down barely an hour away from home (and several travel days away from their final destination), he volunteered to keep their vehicle and repair it whilst allowing them a FREE loaner to drive all the way to Houston, Texas and back.We are are RVers (towing a Chevy) and travel all over the Americas; if we EVER need any assistance with ANY vehicle or if anyone we know in the Chattanooga area is in need of automotive assistance just based on what I have seen, this place is the ONLY place to go in Eastern Tennessee.This country is going absolutely downhill, and to see someone be so absolutely intrinsically kind changes everything. One person at a time, we can change the world. #KindnessFirstAlwaysIf I'm ever in Chattanooga again, I will stop by just to shake your hand, Sir Danny!!

I waited with writing this review to see if the work they did on the car actually fixed the problem. I left my car with them on Monday. On Tuesday their manager said the car would be ready on Wednesday. When I called before closing on Wednesday the same manager said the car would be ready on Thursday. I called on Thursday, just before closing, same story, "car will be ready tomorrow". On Friday the manager called me and said the car would be ready on Monday. I picked up my car on Monday. Couple weeks and about $1400 later car is still leaking oil, like it was before. Use Blackwell only if you want to waste your time and money.

I don t know anything about this company except that they provided a rental car to delana on my 600lb life at no charge. May God bless your business 10fold for your generosity in that woman s time of need. Thank you for continuing to show how us Tennesseans continue to embody the Volunteer state way.

I have had my car serviced at Blackwell since they opened. My experience has always been excellent. I could not ask for more accommodating, genuinely caring people who go the extra mile to be sure I am a satisfied with the work done .

The service at Blackwell is excellent. I was not sure what was wrong with my vehicle and Blackwell was able to diagnose and fix the issue in the same day. The prices were very reasonable and they used genuine Lexus parts. They also inspected the car for me and let me know of future services that would be needed. We have used them for all services on Lexus NX. Will definitely be coming back for future needs.

Always a pleasure doing business with Blackwells!If you are considering bringing your vehicle here, consider the well stocked waiting rooms. Books, charging station, TV of course, and coffee with snacks. Really nice!!!

Outstanding experience at Blackwell. They were all very kind & explained everything in a way I could easily understand. They were very dedicated to getting the proper, updated parts for my car even when their supplier had a mix-up. They went above and beyond to help me and get my car back to me quickly. They were also able to beat the price quoted to me by Toyota. I will definitely be coming back & referring friends & family.

Seen my 600lb life TV episode where the couple broke down & you guys were nice enough to loan them a minivan for free of charge to help her get to Texas for weight loss surgery, Just wanted to say that was truly kind of you & your generosity did not go unnoticed. Blackwell checked out my car to investigate why it was driving bumpy sometimes. They gave me the worse news "it is your transmission". The gave me an option to try a flush, before replacing a transmission and it worked! They also provided me with education about the importance of having transmission flushed every 25,000 miles because of the type of car I have. I appreciated their honesty.

The part needed to repair our car was a factory only part. It was on back order and we had to wait. During this time Blackwell kept in touch making sure we were aware of every single move necessary. When part arrived they called, got us in and made the repair in a timely manner.Great company to work with and would recommend to anyone.

I have used Blackwell multiple times (air conditioning, radiator, etc.) and this past time they outdid themselves with their customer service (especially Danny!) and they really helped me get back on my feet before the holidays. Blackwell went above and beyond helping me with my car and I would highly recommend them for car service and repair.

Took car on Monday @ 7:30am because check engine light came on 2 days earlier but was off at the time & car running fine, recommend to drive until light comes back on, was then notified had a leak in the power steering hose & no fluid in reservoir, recommend replacing rack & pinion unit & Tie Rod ends x 2 @ $99.12 each, this also required an alignment. I should have googled all this before authorizing the work but I trusted that this work is needed, not so sure of that .Had to leave car because they had to order part, but was told car would be ready Tuesday afternoon, I called them @ 5pm & tech gone for the day but someone will call me back, I called Wednesday & was told tech was putting car back together & would test drive it, should be ready in an hour, I received text at 1:00pm car is ready. Picked car up Wednesday, then on Thursday received call from Blackwell advising the tie rods were not put on my car & they would come & get it at NO Charge & replace the tie rods, to date this has not happened.I googled tie rods they normally last 100k miles I have 79k miles on my car & nope I never mention anything about steering issues with my car

Definitely the best auto repair place possible and great for moms with young children. Super friendly and helpful staff, great waiting room, and good prices. My kids are excited anytime we go because they look forward to the snacks, drinks, and TV together on the couches (and so do I, If I'm gonna be honest). Amazingly, despite having a costly issue with my brakes, going there was the highlight of my week last week because of their over-and-above customer service (one of their staff went so far as to drive myself and three kids home because they didnt feel right letting me drive home and didnt want me to have to arrange a ride myself).Good job being the best, blackwell! I wanna stick with Toyota's brand just to stay with your guys (even though my next car will likely be a 15 passenger van, and I dont think Toyota really does those.)

I have never been there for work, but what I saw them do on my 600lbs life for that woman was beautiful, if their human compassion is any measure they have got to be phenomenal mechanics. God bless you all .

This review is based off what I witnessed on My 600lb Life. You can tell the gentleman was genuine when he offered a free rental to help the person get to her appointment after her Nissan van broke down. I think that deserves recognition.

I dropped my car off over the weekend and Black Well Automotive called me Monday morning. Replace my alternator and got me back on the road. Getting repairs done to my car hassle free even if I had to return back to their shop. Due to my dashboard light came on they found the issue asap. Customer service is awesome

I'm simply giving this business, & the man who I'm assuming owns the business?, 5 stars after seeing what he did for the husband & wife on the TLC show, "My 600lb Life". After they broke down from a fan issue they'd just had repaired elsewhere, that kind man loaned them one of their rental vans to finish their trip to Houston to get her help with her weight & health, no charge. It brought tears to my eyes & also touched them so much.Seeing kind things like this warms my heart & reminds me to do something for someone who needs help if I can.This man deserves your business! Give it to him! From the looks of their other reviews...they've been very reliable, honest, & they do great work!Thank you for helping others sir!

I always get my oil changed here and other maintenance on my ToyotaPrius, ...prompt, reliable, courteous custmer service, with attention to detail if there's anything I need to take care of on my car. They have an excellent waiting area for working or relaxing while you wait! They answered my email, they responded to my call immediately, they didn t require an appointment, they repaired what was needed. When the price seemed higher than others may spend on an older car, they contacted me and confirmed I wanted them to proceed. The price was fair for the work completed. Good workmanship and a new place to take my collectibles.
