We live in NC. I called several Volvo dealerships in our area, and could not get a call back to make an appointment to have my auxiliary battery replaced in my XC60. Finally drove to the one 5 minutes from my job just to be quoted $950 to have it replaced. Called Friendship and my call was taken immediately! Was given a quote on the battery, Made my appointment and then 2 weeks later made the 2 hour drive to have the battery replaced. David, the service manager was amazing. He kept us updated on the progress and answered questions we had; first time Volvo owners. I will continue to drive the 2 hours one way to have my XC60 serviced with Friendship Volvo. The name says it all!

Ben took great care of us on our recent car purchase. I had very specific wants and he was able to find the perfect xc60 recharge that exceeded our expectations! He met with us multiple times while we were still deciding which model was best for our needs and was responsive via text/call throughout the process. Low pressure atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone.

This dealership is ridiculous.They had a price listed and an hour after communicating with them they got back to us but with an increased price. We asked them why was there an upcharge that changed on all of their listings(thankfully I took a picture), they asked for verification on that price, image was sent and they said because we had proof they would honor the price.Moving forward...we received a proposal discussing it and they said because we are out of state (CA) that we would have to do our own financing. We did our own financing and in the morning to finalize everything the salesperson told us IT CANNOT BE DONE because we are in CA.I called and spoke with the finance manager Scott Fields and he said because we are located in CA he clarified that we would have to do our own tax, title and fees in CA and they would need a check directly from our bank because they do not do any financing due to tax purposes. We told him we were informed and we would clarify with our bank and call back. His�response was when you call�back, direct this matter to sales manager Waylen Davenport.Now after confirming and calling back explaining to Mr. Davenport said the same thing as long as we were getting our financing and doing our own taxes and registration not included in the loan there should not be a problem but he needed to confirm.Got the call back and they said they could not work with us. The communication is HORRIBLE with this place, they had us run our credit and process a loan just to say they will not work with us. They were not blindsided by us as to where we were purchasing from, we communicated when we were moving forward, stayed in contact, called our� bank and processed a loan all just to be told it CANNOT BE DONE!

Great service. Very helpful sales people. BEAUTIFUL NEW DEALERSHIP!! Really nice finance guy- nice change. Like all dealerships- they need inventory. Chip shortage. I know.

Brent worked great with me for a solid week to make a deal. We went back and forth on 2 different vehicles and he was always patient and kind and ended up getting me a really good deal on a new xc60. I definitely did not go easy on him when negotiating so I appreciate him working hard to make a deal that everyone was happy with! This is our 2nd volvo we have bought from this dealership and I think both times the deal went great. Giving Brent 5 stars but giving the service department 4 stars because an issue with our first volvo, an xc40, never truly got fixed and we had to bring it back so many times and every time we did, we were always told something different by one of the mechanics, which was one of the reasons why we decided to get rid of it and get the xc60.Thanks again Brent!

I drove down from Mass and �ucly they had an opening for service the day I was �eaving to go to Gatlinburg. Everyone was so nice and the service done on the car was quick. I'd highly recommend this dealership.

Extremely disappointed.We originally took our vehicle in for a tire alignment in May. The vehicle had been pulling to the right while driving. Other than this issue, the vehicle was riding very smoothly. They aligned our tires as requested and recommended a tire rotation as well. When completed, the service advisor warned us that there would be some vibration created by the tire rotation. He told us that it would go away after we rode it for a bit. He also told us that if it continued, to bring it back in and they would rotate the tires back to the way they were.As soon as we pulled out of the dealership, we felt the vibration. It was very aggressive and quite loud. We decided to ride it as it was for a few weeks to see if the vibration would go away. We rode it the rest of May, all of June, and part of July. The vibration continued during this time and failed to go away. We decided to take the vehicle in again for a seat buckle recall and to rotate the tires back how they were. We made an appointment to correct these two issues in mid July.We dropped the car off one weekend for our Monday appointment. We returned Monday evening and were told that they were done with the vehicle. We got in the vehicle to find that the seat buckle was not working. We returned to the service desk and they told us we would have to leave the car overnight to have them check again in the morning. In addition, the tire rotation that we requested was not complete. We left the car there until Friday.On Friday, we returned to the dealership. The seat buckle had been fixed. However, they told us that the shocks were bad and that they did not rotate the tires. This was their reasoning for the vibration we were feeling. We were not experiencing any vibration prior to the tire rotation that they recommended. They were unwilling to rotate the tires to see if that would fix the issue. They were trying to charge us an absurd amount of money to fix the vibration created by the tire rotation.We got a second opinion and the issue was corrected at a fraction of the price. It is driving smoothly once again. We have been loyal customers since getting our vehicle. We have always taken it here for any service we have had done. However, with the way we were treated during this experience, I do not see us ever returning.

First, let me say that the individuals that I worked with were very friendly and courteous. My rating is not a reflection of rudeness or anything like that. It is simply that the service department failed me multiple times. I took my 2019 Volvo in for some issues it was having, and it was returned to me with a clean bill of health. However, within minutes of leaving the dealership the check engine light came back on and the problems persisted. I took it back, they kept it for about a week, and they again returned it with a clean bill of health. Same thing happened; shortly after leaving the dealership, check engine light and same problems. They begged me to bring it back again and let them "fix it" a third time, so I did. But when I showed up, it was almost as though I was becoming a burden. There was not a great deal of consideration or sympathy for the lingering issues, or for my time in running the vehicle back and forth. Ultimately I opted to find a different dealership to look at my vehicle. I don't find joy in saying these things; it does not make my happy to speak ill of a company's flaws. But I do think it is important for other potential customers to know.

Just thought you should know that the green 2017 Challenger SRT hellcat you have either has a blown head gasket or a bad oil cooler because there's visible oil in the coolant reservoir in the pictures

2022 xc90 owner. Live out of town. Flat tire in Bristol. This dealership claimed it was $190 to mount and balance the one flat tire. Also tried to charge $90 over and above the list price for the tire. Buyer beware. I have owned a number of Swedish cars.To respond to their written response provided by the dealership--I repeatedly questioned the service writer about the charge and he never mentioned an alignment, the manager at the dealership refused to give me an address or contact name at Volvo to register a complaint and actually placed me on hold for 15 minutes (after which I just hung up) when I simply asked for an address (not the name) of the regional manager for Volvo. In sum, the dealership wanted $650 to replace a front tire. I have owned a number of cars and this entire experience --including the attempt to simply determine how to make Volvo aware-- was nothing but a huge headache. Again, buyer beware with this place. If they will do this over a flat tire, imagine what will happen over something more complex/technical and/or sophisticated. I just got my tire replaced at a competing tire shop for $300 less. Lastly, when I called Volvo they likewise refused to identify where to send a written complaint and claimed that they cannot control their dealerships.

Absolutely terrible service while picking up my leased Volvo today; there was no reason for this bad service, other than they really didn't care to do better. Large stickers left on front & side windows, car not filled with gas, car off-site so had to wait a long time for them to go get the car even though I had an appointment, poor review/instructions on using the vehicle, etc. Overall a very poor job done by Friendship Volvo; next time I will go elsewhere.

Based on experience having service performed at other local dealerships, my expectations were not very high after purchasing my Volvo. WOW - I could not be more pleasantly surprised with the experience I just had at Friendship Volvo. Jimmy, Travis, and the entire team exceeded every possible expectation. Excellent communication, top-notch work, and went out of their way to ensure the work was done in time to take advantage of the Polestar upgrade promotional pricing. Stellar experience - incredibly thankful to have access to the service team at Friendship Volvo.

Warning: I was offered a position by trace Bratton the GM, then 6 days later fired! All I did was computer training for4 days, finished, then told i was fired, I was told by Trace B. this place was a high end place and that I d be better suited for something like Chevrolet or ford, I asked what??? I said what did I do wrong??? He said nothing! I then said- I left a 60,000.00 dollar job to get told this??? When all I did was training?? Nothing more?!?! He said I am speaking for all of us here (Scott, Brent, trace,Lisa,bob) you don t fit in!! I asked why??? I had not even started selling yet, I was super nice at a ribbon cutting, I did everything that was asked of me and I even asked the other 2 , Scott and Brent that if they needed me for anything to say so! I was never rude nor given a chance to be.This is so wrong in every way, and unethical! I threw away a very successful job, to be fired in 6 days!I have successful kids that are doctors and husband and son are Regional manager for DG, we have always as a family been very wealthy, not a low life, and successful! as he described me! I dressed to kill daily there for the almost week I was there, no one else dressed this way, not even trace!He also told me he knew nothing about the Volvos and that Brent would have to teach him! And he s the GM! That s horrible!I will be going to better business bureau, and others. to discuss and move forward, If you are thinking about working here, I d reconsider, because you may be losing your job after you complete your training, in less than a week! Horrible place to work!Also I ve called the HR Alana, no response! Called chip, (president)no response, also called Todd dale VP and no response!Again I would strongly think twice before working here!! Not a good place at all!!

This place is ridiculous. I had a radiator replaced in my vehicle from here but recently saw radiator fluid leaking. When called to ask if the radiator was under warranty Volvo said yes but they were going to have to charge me at least an hour of labor over $150.

I totaled my 2019 XC 60 t8 on a Saturday and bought another one from Friendship Volvo the next Friday. Everyone was very helpful, courteous and great to work with. I would recommend them and Volvo for anyone looking for a car with amazing safety features.

Brent went above and beyond to get my dream Volvo! We aren t local and he handled everything over the phone beforehand to work the deal and get my new XC60 ordered, beating the prices we were finding in Knoxville and elsewhere! He then dealt with me being excited and impatient while we waited for it to arrive!! The big day finally came and he was there ready and waiting before they even opened to get us taken care of! He helped show me everything I wasn t sure on and made the whole experience amazing! Can t wait to have a great future working with Friendship Volvo! Amazing service and a great deal - what s not to love?!?

This was the first time using Bristol Volvo to get my car serviced and they were amazing! From the gentleman that scheduled my appointment to the General Manager that mailed my mother s lost cell phone to us free of charge, first class service all the way!

WOW... Friendship Volvo of Bristol rocks!Live in Charlotte, NC and traveling with my 95 year old mother and engine performance drastically reduced light came on, car sputtered, self reduced speed.Scary for us females as I was traveling along Fancy Gap, VA parkway, no exits.Called Travis Higgins at Bristol dealership and he stated to bring it in and he would fit me in a busy schedule.Travis kept us updated as mechanic run many computer tests as well as tested fuel. Diagnosis was elevated level of ethanol/bad gas. Told to run existing gas out and use 89/fuel & be mindful of ethanol 10% max. Refueled and 4/hr trip home uneventful.So thankful for Travis and his calm reassuring nature. There 3/hrs and was updated multiple times. Mechanic Kevin Wright even worked thru his lunch hour.Travis and Kevin gave remarkable service

I highly recommend anyone that needs service work done on their vehicle to see service writer Travis Higgins. He is extremely easy to work with, professional, honest and very knowledgeable. He will let you know what is wrong with your vehicle and give you the choice of finishing the repair or waiting without pursuing the repair without your consent.

Travis was in charge of handling my service on my wagon. He went above and beyond to expedite my quick return to the road. Not only did they fix the problem with my car they also did for a good price. I highly recommend you guys have your volvos serviced here.*****
