Very helpful staff. I made a 'stock up for winter' trip, and they had everything. I didn't think I'd ever use a cart (buggie) for a parts run, but here I am.

This was the most unsatisfactory visit from an auto parts store I have encountered. I went in around 7 PM CST inquiring about a additional fuse circuit holder for my dash cam. The sales associate informed me that he did not know anything about electrical. Ok, I went on and purchased the product got out to my car and noticed I needed some pliers to install the wires correctly. Went back into the store and was told that they could not lend me a pair of pliers. There is a HUGE banner on the window front stating "Free loaner tools!" Ok, I asked the associate if I could stand at the counter with my wires and use the pliers. He agreed, and after standing for 10 minutes trying to hold the wires and pliers together to clamp down I was unsuccessful. The associate watched me from behind the counter with no concern and the only movement he provided was to come around from the counter and grab himself a drink from the cooler. Another associate walked in from assisting someone outside. I walked to the counter he was at and asked if he could help me out with this. His response was that he didn't know how they worked. I will never shop at this corporation again. I did not want the associates to do the job for me but instead offer some knowledge and assistance. Which was apparently too much to ask for. I would encourage the management to review the camera footage from this night and offer up some additional training in all aspects of what the company offers and success plans for your employees before your corporation feels the need to do the same for you.

Daidrius greeted me at the door upon opening. He was so incredibly kind and patient as he walked me through the battery options and warranties. He quickly installed my new battery and had me ready to shuttle kids to all their activities by 7:45am. Thank you, Daidrius! Highly recommended this location!

The employee with the name that starts with D went above and beyond to make sure my car was running safely and properly before I got back on the road. Best experience I ve had at an auto parts store. 10/10 store. Thank you, D!

When my daughter moved down to Nashville (Franklin) I was concerned about her being able to take care of the little things that Dad's are supposed to do. Advance Auto Parts is my only go to when she is having car trouble. Today her Jeep was completely dead. She was able to get a jump and I told her to go straight to AAP. They diagnosed the problem and installed her battery for her. Advance Auto Parts, you are a fathers best friend. Thank you!!!

Placed online order for store pickup and made purchase in store a well. I wish they would let you apply promo code/coupon in store and not online only. You still end up achieving the same result by placing the order from your phone for store pick up - it just takes a little while for it to process and show up in their system. Store associates were friendly and helpful. Location is pretty busy (not a typical stand alone location) but plenty of parking.

Had a dying battery and this was the only store that had the type of battery I needed in stock. Staff was helpful, friendly, and they even installed my battery for me. Great experience.

I had an emergency with a couple of burned out brake light bulbs on my Toyota car, and the very nice gentleman, Daidrius Dee came to my rescue! He went over and above making sure I had working brake lights! It was wonderful to be able to drive away with glowing brake lights again, and I am extremely grateful to Advance Auto Parts for having exceptional, caring people like Mr. Daidrius Dee!!

Had to grab an ice scrapper (terrible new Yorker transplant ). Came to advanced after going to a bunch of stores and finally got one. Wanted to shout out Matt who not only rang me up but had a great conversation with me about winter weather and living down here and all the changes the past few years. Thanks for great customer service and great conversations!

I replaced a battery here 2 years ago that went bad during the pandemic shutdown. I didn't realize it was still under warranty but they checked anyway when I told them I had bought it there. They didn't have the same brand and upgraded me to a new Die Hard. Can't beat it when businesses show integrity and take care of their customers. I came back to buy my wife's battery there too and they install on the spot. Lastly, they save me lots of $$$money to purchase $22 cabin air filters that take two minutes to replace when the dealerships/repair stores/jiffy etc. charge $75-150 for the same service. With 3 cars in my family these guys do a fantastic job. They have earned by loyalty for all my car needs.

I wish I could give them a good review as they are nice, but I had a pretty bad experience... I went to get my battery changed and they dropped one of the mounting pins down into my engine bay. After 30 min of knocking around he told me to go in and buy a replacement... he said he could not get it out... so then they said it should be okay . Great confidence builder. I then went strait to the local oil lube they said ah oh! They then spent an hour digging through my engine to fix it... basically 3 hours wasted...

I have shopped at the Advance store in Brentwood several times and have never had a problem. However, the last visit was different. I needed a part that they did not have and they said they would order it and would be in the next day at 11:00 AM . I stopped by at noon the the part had not arrived I was told that a truck would be in at 1:00 PM. I tried to call numerous times and no one answered the phone. I went to the store again that afternoon and they could not find that the part was ordered. There appeared to have been some changes in staff and it appeared not to be for the better.

Guy was very rude and zero help. Came to purchase an air filter and asked how hard it was to install. He said, go to jiffy lube . Which charges $55 to install. Instead I went to O reilly right down the road. Purchased filter for $14.95. And they came out, showed me what to do and educated me. Great customer service! Now I know for the future and will be purchasing from O reilly.

Guy that tested and changed my battery was quick, efficient and personable. Told me about the car he was buying, and helped me figure out a problem with my car I didn't even ask about. Couldn't have asked for a better experience when having to purchase an unplanned battery for my car.

They sell good parts, but their ads are misleading. Big signs in the windows offering free installation of things like batteries and windshield wipers but they don't do that. If you don't want to provide those services fine, but don't lie.

Despite their advertising for "free loaner tools", they don't in fact loan tools according to the woman who works there on Saturday morning. Spent $17 on a pair of pliers, kept them in the packaging unused with the receipt, and brought them back to return them several days later and was told they don't return tools.

A lot of people seem to really like this place and I am sure that my experience was a rare one based other reviews but my experience left me quite upset and discouraged.I went into AAP to get my battery checked. Then man seemed reluctant to even come out to check my battery but he did any way. We got to my car and he attached the clamps to the posts. He was going through the device adding the information so I could get a correct read. He looked at the battery and GUESSED the amperage. But he was the employee, I was a customer, I assumed he knew what he was doing. He then proceeded to test the battery and it shot back "Bad Condition". So he promptly told me that it was an expensive battery and we should go inside to find a new one. So we went inside and talked about the battery. At this time it was closing time so I left and he said he would order it for the next day. Which I appreciated his effort to get one in stock for me.After I left I wanted a second opinion because it seemed fishy. I went to Auto Zone in Franklin, got my battery tested and the guy there explained to me that the amperage is clearly written on the top of the battery. He tested the battery with the correct amperage in the machine and it came back "Good Condition".Now I understand everyone makes mistakes but this workers negligence and ignorance to even check the battery to figure out what the amperage was a severe disappointment. If I didn't get a second opinion I would've been out $200 for something I didn't need. That is unacceptable.

Here is some info to share with your field leadership team. Why don't you get with the program and install self checkout kiosk like everyone else? I had one item to buy. A spray can of white lithium grease. I must have stood there waiting to check for at least 15 minutes until I finally gave up and left. I went right next door to Home Depot and got a can (cheaper price also) in less than 1 minute going thru self checkout. Its a no-brainer from now on. Duh!

If you buy wipers (even online) from them, they do free installation at store. So no risk of breaking your windshield by trying to do it yourself :) They always have deals online and free ship to store too.Particularly helpful was that they keep rear windshield wipers too for wide variety of cars that other retailers don't carry. They also check the battery health free of charge.

I've looked at prices between O'Reilly's, AutoZone and Advanced Auto Parts for years and Advanced always has the lower price. Also they are not sarcastic jokers like the folks at O'Reilly's or snobs who don't help you at AutoZone. The people who work there tend to be nice and helpful. The store in Franklin is oddly situated in a strip mall but well stocked and has a knowledgeable friendly staff. Why go elsewhere when what you need can be had for an affordable price with good service?
