I came in with 2 rims, not on a vehicle, needing the tires removed and two new ones put on that I bought from Walmart. I showed up at 8:30 and was told 30 to 40 minutes. Almost no cars in the parking lot. 2 hours later, at 11:30 I finally got my rims back. I was supposed to receive a text when they were done. Never received a text. I checked back every 30 minutes. Not ready yet. I finally pay and the paperwork says they've been done since 10:30. Don't go here unless you have literal hours to waste.

The Walmart auto shop in the Cleveland Tennessee hwy 11 store forgot to put the oil pan plug back on my oil pan after changing my oil a few years ago when I stopped in for an oil change and the motor on my car seized up due to running out of oil while driving my car on the interstate. It ruined my motor on my car. I was stuck on the side of the road as I was traveling from South Pittsburgh, Tennessee to Athens, TN due to an emergency situation. I called the Walmart store to tell them what had happened and the manager told me they'd make it right and pay to get my car fixed but when I found out what it was going to cost and called them back as instructed by the Walmart store manager, they referred me to their lawyer and refused to help me what so ever. They never did help me nor pay me anything at all. Be careful taking your car to Walmart for anything

I took my Honda Crv in for an oil change and you'd think it would take 15-20 minutes for an oil change but no it took almost 2 hours

I stopped in for an oil change while I shopped, the said it would be a minute before they could do it. I told them that was fine as I just stopped in instead of making a reservation. So I did my shopping and went over and waited for them to finish. First they came up and said they couldn't put oil in because it wouldn't take any oil. I showed them that there was a rubber vacuum stopper that they had missed. They went on and continued the oil change. I got my car back shortly after. Drove the car home and kept smelling oil burning. Got home and decided I needed to check what was burning the oil. They had shoved the stopper all the way into my valve cover and oil had pored all over the engine. When I called to tell them what had happened, they said I could talk to the manager tomorrow and they would pay to replace the stopper. And top off the lost oil. Don't take your car to this Walmart they don't know what they are doing.Service: Oil change

I had to wait nearly four and a half hours on my car. They were only cleaning 2 headlamps and replacing 1 bulb. After they finally got my car in the shop it took them an hour and a half to complete the work. That is rediculous!! It was a 30 minute job and they took an hr. and a half. I think Im owed something for the trouble.

Oil change scam beware! After receiving my car rom a fully synthetic oil change went to the parking to inspect everything was done accordingly and found that the Oil hadn't been changed on my engine only the oil filter was replaced. The oil on the dipstick smelled burnt and had a dark brown color. Headed back in the store where I informed of the situation and was asked to take the car around to the Shop for inspection with the person in charge who didn't inspect the oil thoroughly and dismissed my complaint. Came home and removed the oil from the engine myself which confirmed they hadn't changed the oil.Service: Oil change

Visited their Tire and Lube Express to have all four tires replaced. Between two trips here, I've spent a total of 4 hours waiting on their techs to replace 4 tires. I suggest using this place ONLY if it's a last resort.

During our travel home from Thanksgiving we had a tire blowout and was stranded in Athens with 2 small children. These guys worked us in even with a staff shortage and busy schedule. They searched above and beyond for our tire size and finally found what we needed. Me and my family is forever grateful for the guys at this auto are center.Service: Tires

I have purchased 4 tires from this Walmart, and paid extra for road hazard protection. Three times I brought my car in with nails in the tires, and they told me there was nothing wrong, and it was just cold outside. They refused to put the car up for a good look, and just looked at them in the parking lot. I had to take the car somewhere else to have the tires fixed. My son's car had a nail he pointed out and they refused to patch it, and he had to take it somewhere else to be fixed. The road hazard protection is a scam!Service: Tires

When we brought our truck in there were ZERO vehicles in the garage and it took them 4 HOURS to replace four tires and an oil change! 4 HOURS! Then they called our name 4 TIMES on the intercom to tell us "Oh Sorry, it's still not ready." The girl working the counter was rude and completely incompetent! You don't expect much from Walmart but this is ridiculous.-5 Starts.

I was told there would be at least two hour wait, which was fine. What aggravated me was that it was almost three hours and my car hadn't even been taken back. If it was going to be three hours, why not tell me that to begin with. I would rather have an overestimate than under. I wondered the store for two hours while I waited, then returned and sat for an hour thinking it would be any minute until they started working on my car. When I asked about how much longer it would be, the clerk wasn't extremely hateful, but wasn't very apologetic either.I have been here three times in the past two weeks for one tire to be checked, and everytime it has been a long wait because "they are short handed." I would have selcheduled an appointment, but apparently they do not do that. At some point during my wait, a lady walked up and asked about her car, and the lady clerk replied, "I'm sorry, I forgot to page that your car was done."Anyways, after three hours, they still hadn't taken my car back nor communicated about when it might actually be taken back. I decided to ask for my keys and buy a plug kit to fix it myself. I returned to the auto department to pay for it. While I was handing my money to a new clerk, the lady clerk I had been dealing with said, He can fit you in now if you have changed your mind.' I said,"No." I left the the store.I wouldn't have left if they would just have communicated with me and acted like they valued my service. In the future, I will make an appointment with someone who values their customers.

The register is always lined up for a minimum of 20 minutes. Twice I've had a broken/stripped stud when having tires mounted or rotated. I do not recommend getting anything done to your car here.

Me and 4 other customers waited for this dept. to open at 7. They finally opened the door at 7:05. Then 5 of us waited for them to set up their register and around 7:30 they were almost done. Normally jobs that start at 7 should be ready at that time. At my job, we are to be at our stations and ready to perform our duties. I have lost hope in this mega-billion company!

Horrible costumer service. Got there at 8am as soon as they opened didnt get my car back till 1030am. Only had 2 tires put on and an oil change. Took the lady 20 minutes to even get the paper work going. Car was Finnish 20min before I could even pay to get the keys. A lady next to me waited an hour to get her tire then they came out saying they didnt have any of the tires for her car after they had it in the shop an HOUR! whole team is a joke. No one was in a hurry to get anything done. Rude staff and slow going. Will never give them my business again.SAVE TIME AND YOUR MONEY GO SOME WHERE ELSE. oh and got my car back with all the doors unlocked thanls alot

Employee was so slow and did not care about anything but her phone and the person she was texting. Sad thing they were packed and only had one employee at the desk. They could easily had 2 Employees working. People were getting up and leaving and the company loosing money.I sent think wal mart cares at all.

I waited 45 min for them to rotate and balance my tires I bought at a different Walmart location. After the wait they walked out to tell me they can't lift my 5k lb vehicle because their lift is broke. I wasted almost an hour when someone could've told me this at any time. Then they were chodes about me being upset about having my time wasted. They need a lesson is customer service in a bad way

I needed two tires. My tires are 10 years old. The sells rep told me they would not just change two of my tires because they were old. They would only replace all 4. In her words "your tires are 10 years old and I want touch them unless you replace all 4 tires".

Customer service is abysmal. They at least answer the phone, but I doubt they answer as curt in their own home. If you drop your vehicle off, they won't call to tell you when it's finished, so you get to enjoy their sad customer service when you repeatedly call back to see if it's finished yet. I was in the store when someone called to ask for their hours and their answer was "Well we're open now.....I think we close about 6:30" and then after hanging up they made fun of the person for asking and said they should "post a big sign on their window." 1: that should be done anyway, 2: it wouldn't have helped the person ON THE PHONE. I asked for their hours and updated them on Google since it clearly would have inconvenienced them to do so. If Walmart cares at all about customer service (sincerely doubt it) this occurred at about 8:30-9 am on 9/10/2017.

They were a bit busy and short staffed, but everyone was nice and pleasant and our vehicle was still taken care of in a timely fashion.

Good place to get tires just keep a close eye on things if they install them. Seems they don't have many qualified mechanics here from what I've seen. Good prices don't always mean good service so be informed.

Way under staffed . 3 hr wait for a tire change is a little excessive when theres only a couple people waiting. One man doing tires one man doing oil changes and a cashier that doesn't belong in the auto center. JMO

They had 2 elderly people working the service desk. The lady that was working back there was her first day. And the gentleman that was back there was senile. I waited in line for over 30 minutes just to ask a question and was told it would be another 2-2 1/2 hour wait for service. I mean what the heck is Management thinking????

So I spent $500 on 4 bran new tires frim Walmart in athens and the warranty with them and now my valve stem is leaking air. I've brought my vehicle back for the 2nd time now for them to fix it and both times they've had very poor customer service. I will be back tomorrow and they will fix it but this WILL BE THE LAST TIME I purchase tires or anything from the Walmart tire service
