I believe the driver of the long flatbed truck was named Lou. He is absolutely very professional and knowledgeable. The receptionist was Also friendly and to the point. My F350 had issues. They got my truck and myself and took me home. Awesome service, fast and friendly, most importantly, they are very safe and hook to the frame, not the front end of the truck, for pulling it onto the trailer. I highly recommend this towing service. I had them sent through Triple A. Lou also put my truck right where I needed it to work on at the house and out of the driveway. I give them 5 stars

Friendly did everything right and beyond. The customer service to their actual service was excellent. Very professional, accurate and devoted to there work. I picked up my car and it was better than when I picked her up from the dealer. They even cleaned my car! 15/10!!

Absolutely the worst I reluctantly give 1 star. Left on side of road for 5 hours then had to get a ride. AAA says they are the only shop covering a very large area. Don't call them through AAA, look up other local shops, theirmilage charge is way more reasonable.

I'd like to give a hugeshout out to Robert and Galean Milsap owners and operators of Friendly City Towing in Athens,TN. My name is Stephen Yarber I delivered Uncal 76 fuel in the late 80s to there small gas station across the street from Keith Methodist church on Madison Avenue in downtown Athens, Tennessee.There gas station was the last of full service gas stations in Athens.When a fire destroyed the Business in the early ninetys.That didn't stop Robert and his family. They rebuilt heading out of Athens on hwy 30 towards Decatur tennessee.Its turely been a blessing being able to have watched them grow as a family and a Business.So if your ever in need of Auto repairs.Trust no one else and call Friendly City Auto & Towing...You'll be glad you did.

Absolutely not!!! This company is one of the most dishonest and unprofessional car dealerships I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. If I were you I'd find just about anywhere else to purchase a car from. They sold my son a car. They lied about the car fax. Then they said they were going to fix the car for free only to turn around and ask him for $1,200 for the repairs. They sell very poor quality vehicles and lie to trusting people through the entire process. Please spare yourself the heartache and purchase elsewhere.

Be careful if you see this truck on the road. He ran a red light and almost hit me. Extremely scary and when I called to report the truck the woman on the phone did not apologize. She simply argued that this truck does not belong to them.

I wouldn't let this place work on my bicycle!!! They changed my oil without asking me and left it a quart and a half low. After almost three weeks of calling and asking about my truck I got sick of them not calling me back and ignoring me I had them haul my truck back to my house they charged me $380.00 dollars basically for an oil change and tows.

When I called AAA from the time we moved to TN in 2006, Friendly City would respond. Were quick, professional and helpful. This year I have had to call AAA twice and both times Friendly City refused and call and I never did get help from AAA. They said there was no one to send. Once I had to find a local towing company to help and once a kind gentleman saw me sitting for hours and finally came back to help me. I don't know what happened but Friendly City is no longer friendly.

Had some tough luck by locking my keys in the Truck in Etowah, TN. Friendly city sent a Truck 25 mins away to us! Super nice friendly service! Friendly City Auto Care got me out of a tight spot!! Thank you!!!

Left lane is for passing not going 30 in a 55 and holding up traffic with over 10 cars behind you. If you're pulling something and going slow then stay in the right lane.

I used the towing service through AAA, could not ask for better treatment, driver very professional, call center very professional, arrived on time, with or without AAA, I would use this company, they delivered far beyond service...

Falsely advertising that they are a preferred AAA provider. They refused to answer a AAA service call at 9:39pm, and when I called at 1:50am I was told that they could not send anyone out until 9am. The D350 truck was sitting at one of the busiest intersections in Athens, unable to start it, or push it out of the way. Horrible business etiquette! Should NOT be advertising 24 hour towing, or being a preferred provider for AAA when obviously they are not either one!

Guy were called to come for a flat repair..... it took forever.... some guys stopped n helped because they still havent showed till he started help then the AAA GUY WAS A RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL.. WHEN THEY OTHER GENTLEMAN HELPED BECAUSE WE R ELDERLY N IS WAS 80 PLUS OUT

AAA dispatched.Recently had 2 vehicles towed. One from food city Etowah, another from my house in Athens. The dispatch lady and the 2 different drivers were 100% professionals and went above and beyond to help.I appreciate the help, and would rate higher if possible.

These guys offer Vehicle lockout services 24/7 and it has more than once been a lifesaver.Like.5 times.In the last 6 months.Anyways, I appreciate them greatly.Always polite, timely, and reasonably priced.

I can tell you that my experience with this company has always been stellar !When I need a wrecker I go no further !This morning I found myself in a real pickle .I called they expeditiously responded .The situation was completely resolved professionally and Gary was such a clear reflection of kindness and efficiency . Don't bother calling any other service this company is definitely a five star service from top to bottom.Thank you for such great service , in a world where customer service is a thing of the past ,It's their " NORMAL " .Confident that you can expect and receive a great blessing through what's typically , not so great of a situation .Heros in a wrecker truck !

You never want to need the services of a towing company, but when I did need one, this company was right there for me! Fast, friendly, professional---what more could I ask for? They were fair and reasonable. I spoke directly with the owner. The driver he sent out was courteous, friendly, and knew exactly what he was doing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you for helping me through what could have been a stressful roadside incident, but wasn't because of your efficient service.

Do not use for mechanical work absolutely clueless on what their doing plus spends most days out of the shop so you're looking at a month wait. Only thing worse is the customer service in the office

I was locked out of my car this morning they had someone sent right away GOT IT UNLOCKED IN UNDER 15 MINUTES!!! Very reasonable prices and amazing customer service :) I wish I had gotten the mans name he was very kind and understood my situation if you are ever in Athens and get locked out of your car I HIGHLY Recommend

Was traveling through TN on I-75 and my alternator went bad and I had to pull over at the nearby Athens, TN exit and shut down the engine. Called AAA and they recommended Friendly Towing as they were nearby. Tow driver was friendly, professional, and on time. Despite AAA's current COVID restriction to not allow us to ride in the truck with the driver and should arrange for our own ride to the destination via a friend or Uber, I notified them that I was traveling and I'm fully vaccinated and driver agreed to make an exception and allow me to ride with him in the truck. Also, the driver was thoughtful & kind enough to give me directions to get back onto I-75 after towing me to the repair shop since he knew I was out of town traveling and not that familiar with those local roads.

While passing through I had a water pump go out on my truck while towing a camper. These folks came to the rescue and got me back on the road the same day. I was amazed at how awesome they were and they didn't charge and arm and a leg. They very well could have taken advantage of me since I was roughly 400 miles from home and totally stuck. If I were a local, they'd get all of my business.

Truck drivers cut people off and run all over the road like they own it... went one time for an easy tune up and they didn't even bolt everything back missing fasteners missing clips

The gentleman that came and helped me earlier today was amazing. He towed my vehicle back to Where i am staying. The tow truck was super clean and smelled better then most tow trucks!! Highly reccomend great price and will definitely use them again!

Response to AAA service calls.I am 100% happy with AAA & with the Friendly City Auto Care & Towing you sent to help me.I would like to tell you about it. On Tuesday 05/30/17 I went to my storage building when I went to leave the car would not start. The motor would not turn over; it appeared I had a dead battery. I called AAA road service they handled the call professionally quickly. Friendly City Towing was there in minutes with a battery pack. The car would not turn over with the battery pack so it was not the battery. I was able to find a starter motor & called AAA the next day to get towed to a repair shop to get the starter installed. I was told I could get a 10% discount with Auto Logic that was nice to know. Friendly City was there in minutes again; by the way their equipment is very new & very clean. I was so impressed with Friendly City Towing that I decided I would have them do the repair. I mentioned I could receive 10% off if I went with Auto logic through AAA. There were two other things that needed attention one was to reconnect the hood strut. The other I did not ask to be done but there was small break in the positive cable connector on the battery. They replaced the connector. Not only did they install the starter motor they fixed the two others things & gave me 10% discount. Friendly City Auto Care & Towing is a class act & I will using them in the feature. Thank you AAA for involving Friendly City Auto Care & Towing in my behalf.

I'm amazed that there are still genuine hard-working people who care about the general public! Friendly City was right there when we needed them most. We were miles away from MS. My mother's car broke down two hours from my bereaved brothers home. It was very stressful night as we had a funeral the next day for my niece. The price for the tow and repair was fair. Friendly City took a load of stress off of us by sending us an angel to pick up the car. Gaylean the dispatcher (another angel) was very understanding and very professional. They repaired the vehicle the next day while we were at the funeral. They gave us time to grieve, and made a frustrating experience one my family can never repay. Thank God for Friendly City Auto Care!!

I broke down on I-75 on my way home to NJ. The great people at Friendly City rushed to get my family back on the road. When the replacement alternator turned out to be faulty, Gary drove to Knoxville and back the very next morning so we wouldn't have to wait. A+
