Took my truck into had a blown head gasket turns out I needed new heads they found some heads for my truck and took care of everything now truck is working great very good auto repair service. highly recommend the work star automotive does they went above and beyond helping me with my vehicle. can't say enough great things about them if you need automotive repair Don't waste time with others just go to star automotive you won't be disappointed.

We used Star Automotive to replace the engine in my brother's car. We were referred to them by a trusted garage in Nashville, after everyone told us they were too busy and that it would cost more than the car is worth to put a used engine in! They gave us a great price, performed the work VERY promptly, were courteous, professional and friendly. They are my entire family's heroes, because we really did not know what we were going to do, and this would be the worst time ever to try and find a used car to buy him!

WOW!!! There are not enough positive words to express how thankful we are to have met these guys! I called AAA for a tow which did not happen - they came out to jump my son's car, then returned to tow the car and we chose to send the car to STAR instead of a dealership. Honesty, so fair in repair costs, got to it quickly, personable...just to name a few. I asked them to take a general look over just to make sure there might not be any other issues due to high mileage, which they went out of their way to do and they let me know what else the car needed and again, were so reasonable and it was so worth it to get the repairs done and have peace of mind. They were not pushy and so accommodating in working with us about getting the car picked up even! What a blessing to have found a place that you can trust and feel good about taking your car to - I am forever grateful and will be going there for any future needs.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I've used STAR Automotive for nearly two years now and they are absolutely wonderful. Billy does an excellent job of laying out all of my options for me in a way I understand. I feel like he always gives me the knowledge to make a good decision and doesn't push me to get, "extra" things done. Will absolutely go back!

Reliable and trustworthy! I took my vehicle to the GMC dealer in Springfield to have the oil changed and to have a loud noise fixed on my vehicle. They changed the oil and told me there was nothing else wrong with my vehicle. The loud noise continued for several months. Several months later my dad took my vehicle to Star automotive and JT quickly identified the problem and fixed it. It was an issue that could ve turned into a much larger problem if not fixed. My vehicle runs smoothly now. My dad, mom, and sister have all taken their vehicles to JT and have never had any issues. I highly recommend Star Automotive!

Originally found this place on google and went with it based on the nearly 5 star reviews. I recently moved to the area and had my wheel bearings replaced. Afterwards my car was having a squealing metal to metal sound. Star Mechanic owner JT was very quick to call back and book my appointment. In just an hour he called me and it was repaired and ready. It was a back end plate touching the rotor, easy fix. It was such a good experience and I d definitely return for future car maintenance. Also I d recommend this place for sure.Service: General repairs & maintenance

We are from out of town and had 1300 miles of driving ahead of us when our vehicle started making a terrible grinding sound. We dropped by this shop, and although they were very busy, they immediately looked at if for us and fixed the problem within minutes. This saved us so much time and probably a ton money. I am very grateful for Star Automotive! For towing or battery service (my experience), it just can't get any better. I appreciate the honesty and kindness they provide. I will contact them without hesitation next time I need service.

Great customer service I had them replace a wheel bearing seals a new rear brakes and one of the seals failed.... brought the car back to them In the morning picked it up in the evening free of charge I will definitely use these guys againServices: Transmission, BrakesServices: Transmission, Brakes

A window fell down on my car, man said it would be $60.00, to raise, he then saw me calling family members for financial help, when the job was complete he only charged me $20.00, what a blessing..also charged my air conditioning unit on another day, & was just as helpful as the first time..now I m getting ready to call him & ask if he can put some new headlights in my car that I ordered & I have no doubt the service will be just as good as before..

You truly don t find people like this in the car business anymore. They always go over, above, and beyond. This is the only place to take your car in Cheatham county.
