Dont know what I was thinking going to wmart for auto service. I normally dont get ruffled but today the people at walmarts auto center really ruffled my feathers.I had a 7am appt to put a tire on. Pretty simple so far, right. I get there about 15 after 7 and no one is there. I walk around to main entrance and back to auto center. There are employees walking around looking at their phones. Around 7:40 I finally get acknowledged and we start the process of having my new tire put on.But of course there is a catch. They say my bolt is stripped. Cant put tire on. Ok, put the tire on the rim and I will put it on at home.But he cant do that since its not a walmart tire. I bought the tire at walmart. I am still confused and the way everyone just seemed to pretend like I wasnt there really pissed me off. They needed someone there who was in charge and could make decisions.I really knew better than to go to walmart for auto service and I broke my own rule.

Lazy african americans run this place. The do NOT want yo do anything. Now, the "excuse" is that you need to have an appoinment. (???). Since when?IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO WORK, STAY AT HOME.

Best experience I've ever had at walmart. The manager was super helpful super polite and very understanding. Does the young lady who waited on me was outstanding although it was only like her first week there so she did everything she could to help me excellent customer service. We'll be back to their Tire Service thank you

Show up 2 hours before close. No one in line and they refuse to do my oil change. Go somewhere else. The staff was nice about it so I won't give them 1 star.

I stopped into the Wal-Mart auto center on my lunch break to buy two new tires to replace my badly worn old tires . Patrick was great with helping me get what I needed and get them installed on my car in time to make it back to work on time . And on top of that , I was able to get two new Goodyear Viva 3 tire with a 60,000 mile warranty for less than $125 ! What a deal !!!!!

This locations service fluctuates so heavily that I can not recommend using this facility. I have been turned down for tire repair three times so far this year given the reason that "someone called out". I arrived one time before 2PM carrying my flat tire in only for the clerk to leaugh saying "I hope you don't want us to fix that today". That's embarrassing. I am an idiot for buying the road Hazzard warranty as each time I have had the need to use it, it's like pulling teeth IF I am able to get service. I tried this location again yesterday because of the road Hazzard warranty to see that they had closed the service shop for the day. Two employees were outside smoking near the bays, but I am now under the assumption that they do not work on cars despite being in uniform.There are a lot more options in town, and I feel like an idiot trying this place so much. I recommend googling "tire repair near me" and trying to make it to one of the other locations rather than wasting your time here. I have emailed Walmart twice but received no Communication back.

I went in for two tires and an oil change. I was told they would pull my vehicle in, in about 30mins. They didn't pull my vehicle in for over an hour. After getting my vehicle in the shop, it took over an additional two hours to change the oil and two tires. So it took over four hours to change two tires and the oil? Definitely won't be doing this again?Services: Tires, Oil change

Absolutely wonderful. I came in at 7:30 in the morning. They had the tires and stock that I needed. There were two choices. I took the time to ask them which ones were better for my application. Marcus was extremely expressive and explain exactly what I needed. I went on and ordered the tires. I sit down in a lounge chair and waited about 45 minutes. They had a great app that told me the progress of the technicians. The tires were applied and I was out the door at 8:10. What's not to love about that kind of service. Three cheers for Markus he does a wonderful job of handling the desk and coordinating with the auto bays.Service: Tires

A day after yesterday, I went to get my vibrating steering wheel fixed, I got a shaking wheel instead, waw. The little lady(young) had attitude claiming I do not speak my number loud so I has to repeat myself. So I drove my car it was windy, wet and slippery road my car wanted to swing over the bridge over in Smyrna with strong winds pushing to the side, my car is jetta Volkswagen 2015. My car was being taken care of by young tall light skinned young man. I checked back with the car registered lady, she asked him what went wrong, all numbers came zero on balance, so it must be alignment. Then I left to firestone which I has earlier went to but was pricey. They told me to pay 100 dollars. Hmm. But the car does not swing only shaking. Let me check he said and said if your car does not swing it is balance I will redo balance for 60 well I had to get refund from Walmart I told him first. So he said he will keep my file. Once I went there the same day the tech said he is almost leaving work no time to get it checked again so I went the next day to find that now according to him there was weight issue. His manager defended him by saying oh he is right it is an alignment issue with bad roads in Tennessee specially in Antioch and downtown areas where I drive I believed him he may be right for alignment. After a thought I disagreed with him because the car did not swing a lot plus my car gotten worse after being serviced. So now my car seems to be where it was at least and my all tires have been checked for 58 and almost lost my life due to skidding. One girl was at the service she was getting balance too and days before she got headlamp issue but guys did not get fixed and took it to another mechanic and they told her they failed to connect the cables everything was fine.Why would they do that and how many lives are lost? If you get service drive slowly until you verify everything is working normal first. Do not trust these guys I wish I could sue them.

Friendly associates and k knowledgeable employees who work at this location.EDIT: The young white guy didn't BREAK my lug nuts before lifting the car after I purchased 4 BRAND NEW TIRES. Excuse for non service was that he couldn't get the lug nuts off. Wonder why !!! All New Lug nuts and stripped my property.

Was told I'd have to wait for 2 hrs just to get an oil change cos it was just 2 technicians available. I left, went to Valvoline and had the oil change immediately while sitting in the comfort of my car.

TERRIBLE. I waited an hour and a half to get an oil change and two tires put on my truck, only to be told that they couldn't get to the oil filter and couldn't get the lug nuts off. Why was I made to sit an hour and a half and no work get done? The manager completely dismissed me on my way out. I recommend avoiding the service center at all costs.

Very slow.. appointment was at 10 got there at 9:30. They didn't even start my car until around 12ish. What's the point of making an appointment if it's going to be hours later. Not to mention no one informed us they were behind. I would have put that in consideration of them being late if they told us they were behind, but they didn't.. the cashier bless her heart was so behind no one came up there to at least help her get some of the customers out of the line quicker. Everyone else seemed to be walking around instead of actually working...

They didn't turn off the oil maintenance light off in the car. I was completely out of windshield wiper fluid and they put on the receipt it was checked. When I left Walmart it was still empty. I question if they checked any of the other fluids since the didn't check that. I was told the oil change was 44.99 but when I went to pay it was 62.00 which wasn't a problem but it was not discussed with me beforehand. I didn't have this issue with my last oil change. Then when trying to call to inform the manager of my complaint it was impossible to even reach them.Service: Oil change

I got my car towed here and got a call that I d have to be present to get my ticket. I had to get a Lyft to get there. When I got there they d held my place in line. The wait was long but they were busy and the customer service rep was nice. I have a warranty on my tires so that s why I stayed. They also had a comfortable waiting space. I went to a different location before and didn t receive the same service so I ll be making this location my staple

Edit: I wrote my original review over a year ago. Came back thinking maybe it was Covid that was the issue. Nope. They claim to open at 7am but never do. Don't come here. What a waste of time.Original 2021 post:I've been here twice now for oil changes. Both times when they open at "7" and both times have had to wait until at least 7:45 for them to actually open. Apparently, they are understaffed all the time.The price is great but that's about it. This is just poor business practice and unacceptable to not let the line of people outside know that they aren't opening. The customer service is horrible. Go someplace else.

Get my oil changes done here, had tires rotated and they also put on purchased new windshield wipers. Reasonably priced. They have changed service staff over time but always maintain quality crew. The wait for service not long. McDonald's inside this Superstore

Worst service ever, that lady on Friday Sep 30 around noon was so rude urging me to give her the info about the tires that I had bought from Walmart less than 6 months ago! How in the world would I have known they didn't have that info?people like this should not be in customer service, maybe just maybe in the back-office!!

Bad service nobody in TENNESSEE HAS TIRES OR WEIGHTS ETC. SERVICE IA THE WORST MIGHT AS WELL GO TO 3RD COUNTRY

Totally saved my trip! Needed a new tire or I wouldn't be able to make my trip. Special mention, i couldn't make it in until 6pm! And they were able to make it! So grateful!

The products and service in their Auto Center are, extremely, good. The set of new tires they recommended for my car are excellent tires .. perfectly balanced, soft and smooth riding. I recommend you check here first before you go wasting time and extra money someplace else.

I stopped by the auto care center today (5/5/20) and ran into a challenge trying to get assistance from the floor clerk so he paged the Manager (Ryan).Ryan took his time, asked thoughtful questions about the siuation and was able to draw an informed conclusion to best understand how to address my concern.I was very impressed with Ryan and ultimately he was able to help resolve the situation - it is great team members like him which help keep a store's image in tact and ratings high.Thank you Ryan!

I needed new tires and an oil change. The guy who helped me was nice. But I was turned away because they were so understaffed and said nobody was trained on tires. I'm only giving two stars because I was helped quickly and he was polite.

I had a flat tire...they couldn't patch it,So $66.00 dollars later l had a new tire! But l tell you that it only took 20 minutes! Never have l had such quick and friendly service before! Cudos to the Auto Care Center!!!

I had to jump my car so many times today just to get to work and back and I got to Walmart auto center as they were closing.. managed to buy a battery but they said it was too late to put it in and I needed to come back tomorrow. But I work 12 hour shifts at an animal hospital 7-7 and of course when I went to leave, my car had died again. I went back and asked if they could jump it. Thankfully John D stayed late and replaced my battery for me. Idk what I would ve done without him!

Went to the Antioch walmart tire and lube on oct.6th,2020. Asked for my tire to be repaired. It had a screw in it. And while I was there get my tires rotated and balanced. Left and went home then noticed they never rotated my tires or balanced them. All they did was repair my tire and put air in them. So here I am waiting on Oct.8th, 2020 after worki ng all day, waiting for them to actually do my tire rotation as I sit here and watch to make sure it gets done and asked for someone else to do it. Because the guy that said he did it, is here today. Thanks for wasting my day

They do not have the center staffed properly. The staff that is there is very friendly and quite knowledgeable, however you can feel thier frustration at being under staffed.This location is frequently out of inventory that has been advertised.Management seemed unconcerned about the situation. Recommend going to another Walmart for car services.

I had three new tires mounted and I was leaving I realized that the "mechanic", Alexander, forgot to tighten all of the lug nuts on one of the wheels. The wheel was literally wobbling on the lugs and he didn't notice when he drove my car back to the parking lot. I had to go back and let them know that they sent me off in a death machine, to which they hardly responded. No apology or acknowledgement of their error whatsoever. Alexander then tried to tighten the lug nuts while the car was still on the ground, crooked wheel and all, before I had to tell him that it doesn't work that way. I will NEVER be taking my car to walmart's novice mechanics for any kind of work again.
