I loved this cute lil place. The young couple running the place were both so sweet and precious. The girl was cute as a button, so down to earth. The guy paid my babies to shovel some snow with him lol They really enjoyed it. Super old school, laid back and affordable. Thanks for being part of our memory collection! I m a huge fan of SD!

This is a decent motel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. However the rooms are nothing special. The AC unit is dirty and there is a bit of a musty odor in the room. The bedding was washed with something that has a strong fragrance and it gave me a headache. The sheets also had some stains on them, and the pillows were flat. The bathroom was clean. We saw a few different rooms and have noticed that they vary a lot, some have carpet and some do not, some have a tub, etc. I also found some strange specks in the freezer. Overall it could be better, but I've stayed in worse. Three stars only because of the friendly office employees.

Quite, out of the way spot. Getting remodeled currently. The new rooms are very nice. Clean and comfortable. Rooms have a fridge and microwave. Internet is solid and you can stream shows or conduct computer work. Only down side is the walls are a bit thin and there is some highway noise. There is a laundromat a block away. Very friendly owners.

Newly remodeled rooms!! This is the motel my family & I stays at for our fishing trips. Very clean, friendly, and other guests will often chat with you. The staff is AMAZING and there is a fish cleaning station in the back that you get a key to along with your room key. Definitely stay here if you're looking for a nice, affordable place to spend a night or three. Our room included a minifridge and a microwave.

I'll Write this review as a sportsman meaning if I were on a duck hunting trip or fishing trip with a buddy it's a place to lay down and great that they have there own fish cleaning building out back. Huge plus since Bitter lake and Waubay Lake don't have a cleaning station. But I took my wife and 14 year old daughter here last summer and they didn't like it at all. It is very old and smelled kind of musty. It appeared clean but I did go to my pickup and found a new scented air freshener and brought in in to the room. We had the room booked for a couple nights but we lied to the management and told them our daughter got sick and needed to leave for home early. They believed it and allowed us to cancel our room for the next night. We then drove 11 mile further to Webster and found several options for nicer rooms for a little more money.

Ok..... Listen. Yes it's small rooms. But they are clean and reasonable priced. Even let us have our pooch too. Well worth the money. Nice owners... Very friendly.

We used motel on an ice fishing weekend. It was definitely out dated but was very clean and served our needs for weekend. Loved having a heated fishing cleaning house behind motel.

Best place to stay if you are fishing the Glacial lakes. Plenty of room for boats. Grills provided. All of the great lakes are a quick drive away.

Perfect, had our duck hunting weekend. Enjoy circle pines every year. Employees are nice, facilities are just right. If you are a sportsman this is the motel for you.

Very nice, real quiet and inexpensive. Just right for a place to stay, has Wi-Fi, a microwave and small fridge. Would stay again.

Very clean room. Air conditioning worked excellent. I was very surprised at how clean that room was! Price is decent.

Water ran black for a minute but after five or ten it was ok can't complain too much we was stranded during a winter storm tiny TV otherwise it was grear
