First time at Watertown location for auto care, and I'm happy to give a rave review. Was promptly greeted by the associate at the service counter (I think his name is Mike), and a guy who I think was the tech. That alone is a big deal, having been at another SD location where that isn't the norm. Went in for oil change and my lifetime tire rotation & balance. Was in & out in about an hour, and that was with a fairly steady stream of people coming through the door. I don't know if they're appointment based or FCFS, but I was a walk-in. Mike was patient while I was trying to make up my mind which oil change I wanted to purchase (I usually ask my dad that stuff before I go, but he was unavailable). He wasn't pushy or overtly up-selling, but did offer me the add-on products and a description. While waiting (in comfy clubs chairs, not a small wire bench), I discovered the cap on my soda bottle was not tightened all the way and had leaked all over the inside of my purse, including several papers I was carrying. Mike got me a bunch of paper towels and also informed me (in a friendly & helpful way, NOT in an annoyed-you're making a mess-get outta here way) that the bathrooms had dryers if I needed to dry my papers. After I was done with that, I asked him for a couple more paper towels so that I could clean the chair also. Without hesitation, he grabbed the roll and a cleanser spray. I told him it was my mess, I'd clean it up, but he reassured me that it was no inconvenience whatsoever. Even with customers coming through constantly, there was no sense of chaos. They handled each one efficiently, but without rushing anyone through. You can think that the customer service is basic, until you understand that hasn't always been my experience elsewhere. Thank you for making my day better!

I have generally had good luck at the Watertown SD Walmart tire area. With the exception of taking brand new wheels and tires in to get mounted and balanced and 1 had a huge scratch on it, and another time they ripped the bead on some low profile 18s when mounting them and had to be replaced. I have had a lot of work done there over the years and they have done good work in a pinch.

Were told it would take about an hour to an hour and a half for the tires and oil to get changed (only 2 tires needed changing). So we decided to wait there and do our shopping while we waited. Finally got to leave Walmart THREE HOURS after getting the car in. Asked a few times how much longer it would be starting at about 2 hours in and every time was told "oh they're just finishing up now. Should only be another minute or two"Services: Tires, Oil change

I don t know anything about the tires I have not bought them at Walmart before, I only rated it a 1 because I had a flat tire and no spare so I needed a tire repaired. They said the tire didn t have enough tread so they couldn t help me but could sell me a new set of tires. I already had a brand new set at home and just needed to get home without getting towed. So I aired up, and I went to Tires Plus and they promptly fixed my tire with no comments about the tread. Thanks Tires Plus I will buy my next set of tires from you.

After my front tire was punctured, an employee by the name of Brandon was very helpful in making sure I could get my tire fixed. Although the service center was fully scheduled up until their closing time, he was adamant about my repair getting fixed that day still. The service center ended up having to stay open past their scheduled closing time, yet they still completed the repair. Thank you to those employees that took the extra time to help me out.

Thought I'd save money...live better LOL..NOT. They forgot to move my front tires to the back when they put the new tires on front. Cost me a whole new trip(45 miles) and 2 1/2 hours of my day to go back up to get it fixed. Then they tried charging me for more service fees!! They have me a different tire than my original on one side and didn't tell me either.

It took a minute to get someone's attention, but they were friendly and helpful. We just needed air in our tires so there was no charge, and when the guy noticed one of the stem valve caps was missing he found one and replaced it for us. Kindness is always appreciated.

I was happy to find someplace late, but ultimately very disappointed in the service! After waiting for an hour I was told that my flat tire was due to a leaky valve and they didn t have the right kit to fix it. Then I was sold a tire inflator so if it went flat again over night I could fill it enough to get it to a service place. Well... next morning the tire inflator I was sold didn t work. And when I was finally able to get to a different tire service place, it wasn t a leaky valve at all! The tire was fine- there was a rock that needed to be removed. All this to say- if you have other options, use them! I will add that the staff was very kind and easy to work with. I appreciated their efforts, but I think Walmart needs to provide better training and needs to carry better and more dependable products.

We went to Walmart Sunday because it was the only place open that day that fixed flat tires. The weaselly gentleman "helping" us asked where the nail was and immediately said the tire could not be repaired before he ever looked at it. When we got out to the car, he was more interested in getting into my car than he was actually looking at the tires. When we finally insisted he look at the flat tire, he seemed to be almost giggling with excitement when he insisted that he could only sell us 4 new tires, not fix the flat or sell us a single new tire. "Because your tread is low," he said. We must have looked dumb when we entered the store, because our tread was NOT low & he spent zero time looking at the tires. Went to WW Tires the next morning & they fixed the flat for $20, no hassle.

Whats the point of booking yourself an appointment when they slide walk in appointments ahead of urs while I sit waiting. Terrible service. Did not follow any of my instructions for the tires I wanted back after mounting new ones. Highly do not recommend.

We waited forever! There were other people who came and went in the nearly 3 hours that we spent getting 4 tires on. Good price but slow work

The only thing the staff is missing is a red nose to honk, clowns. Went for a oil change but they couldn't get a cap off?? For real?? No tools in that shop I guess. Im guessing the next place will say ill never get another oil change because the caps stuck.

Good for simple oil changes but dont bother if you want to request a specific oil brand or anything as they got it wrong the last 2 times after i clearly requested it. Never again.

Always takes forever. Two hours for an oil change. Three hours for 2 new tires. An hour and a half to get my tire plugged. Clearly understaffed.

Slow...........it takes too long to change tires. I have worked in a tire store . If any car with 4 tire change takes longer than 30 minutes... you need new helpers......you need a new system. Lots of people waiting I see why.

had a flat and they were the only place in town open at 7, only cost $10 to fix the flat, way better than the $100+ the other guys would have charged for an after hours fix

A good place to get tire's for your vehicle or an oil change, for a reasonable price
