The customer service here is amazing. They always have me feeling safe when leaving. Along with that they show customer appreciation by always having goodies when I hop back in my car. Happy to be a customer here!

The customer service at J&M Transmission & Auto Service is so great. Justin and his crew there made sure my transmission was fixed properly in my 2007 Grand Prix GXP. They also have loaner cars which really helped out to get around while my warranty company was playing games with getting a new transmission for my car. After It got approved they got the new transmission and got it in right away and got my car done fast. Thank you all there as I will do alot more service with you guysaway to get it serviced if I need oil changed transmission work whatever they got my business best auto and transmission shop in the Sioux Falls area

Love the crew at this place! Been here for three or four oil changes and a few pre-purchase checks. They are knowledgeable and willing to answer my questions without feeling like I m wasting their time. Honest. Professional. Fair priced. Got brake work done on my dually. Ended up paying less than initially estimated due to the fact that they didn't need to do as much as originally expected. Will definitely be returning for any work needed in the future. Highly recommend.

While driving back to Colorado after a busy two weeks of pulling a camper around Minn/Wis our transmission entered the 2 minute warning near Irene, SD. Turned north with a good tail wind and made it to Lake Vermillion. One of the more nerve racking drives of all time. Unhooked the camper, called J&M and rolled the dice and drove east. Justin had our truck ready to roll in record time and our mission west continued. Had an unexpected flat tire. They were unable to repair it (too badly damaged) but they helped me right away without an appointment, put on the spare, put the flat in a bag, and even vacuumed the car, all without an appointment. They charged me nothing. They were kind and understanding and had a comfortable waiting area. They have my highest recommendation.

We are all human. I am so impressed with level of professionalism and making things right. I scheduled an oil change and an AC check. They provided a quote and I approved it. The following day I called to see if the recharge was done. The gentleman apologized profusely he forgot to call and yes was ready and after paying invoice they would deliver my car to me. I noticed the oil change was not on there. When I called back he again genuinely apologized for the oversight, took ownership, no excuses and said the oul change will be done in an hour and no charge for their oversight. My car was delivered as promised. We all make mistakes, yet the professionalism and their willingness to go above and beyond has me a customer for life.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto A/C recharge, Oil change

Hands down the best mechanic and repair shop I've ever been to. They really really care about people...not just about peoples money. The atmosphere was so awesome too... I'd tell ANYONE to go there. Highly recommended

Francis kept me up to date on all the repairs and cost of them also. Was also updated through text and email.and was provided a nice loaner car. I had to have multiple things done, so my car was overnight with them. Everything works perfectly and since I'm from Sioux City, IA I didn't mind the drive. It was worth it. My truck wouldn t start on a cold morning (-18�). I am from another state and had need to travel. I called around town and pretty much everyone told me it d be Dec 30 at best before they could look at my truck. This was the Wednesday before Christmas. I called J&M and using the tow company they work with they got my truck in later that day and was fixed early the next afternoon. I dealt with Matt and Josh. I felt the service was superior and they were very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this business. Paying for two batteries for my diesel and a tow the cost was less than I had expected.Service: Auto battery replacement

J&M always does a great job on my vehicles. Repairs are done quickly and correctly and they keep you updated on the status of the repair, the cost. They never try to talk you in to repairs you don't need. Everyone is honest, kind, and always happy to answer any questions! I brought my ford truck in for a transmission flush. Francis took care of everything. Only took a couple hours, great communication via text and phone calls! Key drop for after hours if you need it. Everyone there was friendly and courteous! I give you guys 5 stars!

Unfortunately, with a hectic life I forgot the name of the service writer. He was a pleasure to speak with. This is what happened, another mechanic did our brake pads and for a heavy price recommended alternater replacement. Had a feeling I should contact someone else. These guys at J & M are consummate professionals. I wanted a second quote but instead they found the alternator was good. As long as the staff stays they have a loyal customer.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I would ve rated this company a 4-5 star, I had no problems with their labor and costs of services as they were tremendous in that factor, but when I got my vehicle I had noticed a black coat of material along my headlight and fender of the drivers side.. I thought it would just come off in a car wash so I wasn t going to complain, but it hasn t and I was never disclosed to about what it is please contact me at chevy impala 2006 last week Tuesday, picked up.. I am supposed to bring it back to check on a oil leak, but I want a credit, or something.. this was coated a long ways.. it scratched my fender and bumper, it won t come off the headlight, it scratched the headlight.. I need someone to contact me, and I know the shops cameras will show it was there before, I picked it up Buse/NielsenUpdate: they fixed the issue and made it right, they are people friendly and work well with schedulesService: Auto maintenance

I reached out to J&M Transmission recently due to a 4WD service warning on my Jeep Cherokee. They were very thorough and patient in explaining me what the issue was and serviced my vehicle within promised timeline. Before reaching out to J&M transmission, I reached out to couple other service centers in Sioux Falls and they quoted super high rates. Excellent customer support and great service at reasonable price.

They are always fast, friendly and courteous. I've only had five star experiences there. Even when you've got to wait a little bit, they have a nice comfortable room to sit in with snacks and drinks. Once in a while the shop dog is there too. This place is highly recommended for any of your auto service needs.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Finally! Someone who can be trusted to repair what is needed and not try to add additional services, or things that don't need to be repaired. They give you the recommendations, and real world information. You can have your daughter bring her vehicle here without worrying about taking out a mortgage to pay the bill.

Brought 2012 Ford Focus in due to fault code. Paid for diagnostic and was told needed a $9000 transmission. No alternative option was given. Called Dale's A1 in Mitchell due to coworker recommended them. They came and picked the car from my home in Sioux Falls no charge. Diagnostic was completed and needed new control module. Was fixed for $1400. No new transmission was needed. Car was returned free of charge as well. Highly recommend Dale's A1 transmission in Mitchell. Five Stars!!
