I brought my Indian Scout to Luke, owner of Taylor d Cycles to have the oil changed and while we were looking over my motorcycle and talking about a few details I was considering, he shared with me a few suggestions to complete the look of my custom, I agreed, and had him do the work.Luke has the knowledge, mechanical savvy and awesome customer care that takes servicing your motorcycle to the next level. Great experience! Passing through on the bike, needed a service. Called, got me right in. Luke did a very complete service/check up on my Ultra and back on the road. Looking forward to getting back this way. Will certainly be a repeat customer even though I live on the other side of the country! Definitely my go to guy from now with all of my future repairs and maintenance. None of the shops in Gillette were able to get me in, in the time I needed, so I started looking for other shops out of town and I came across this one. I called and he scheduled me in. An opening came up in his schedule so he was actually able to drive all the way down and pick up my bike the same day (I didn t have the vehicle or the trailer to be able to haul my bike down). He was slightly more expensive than the mechanic that I used to go to, but he was a lot more thorough. He made sure everything was good and caught some stuff that my last mechanic never bothered to fix let alone bring up (missing hardware, bolts, etc). I really appreciate the integrity he has in his business. He was rly cool and understanding about things and cut me the best deals where he could, given my situation and everything else I had going on at the time. He personally took the time to test ride it to make sure everything was safe and good to go before letting me know it was done. He even came in when the shop was supposed to be closed just so I could pick it up in time to have it for when I needed it. After I picked it up he also continued to follow up with me to make sure I had no problems. It was some customer service of the century I tell ya. Great service from Luke. We were in a bind and knowing we were on vacation, Luke looked at our bike , replaced the battery and wrote down instructions for next time we trailer bikes. All within his first hour of opening. Would not hesitate going to Luke for anything. FYI. While we were there an older gentleman , a regular, said he would never go to anyone but Luke.Service: Battery

While doing a cross country trip on my bike, I needed an oil change on my way through Spearfish SD. Luke was kind enough to come in on his day off to help me continue on with my trip! The service was excellent and I couldn't ask for a better tech to do my 1000 mile service on my new Harley. Best place to go hands down!!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

We needed a sensor replaced during the Sturgis Rally, our bike was diagnosed and fixed right away. Highly recommend due to the great customer service! Very knowledgeable, transparent with us, and reasonable as well!

Luke goes above and beyond than what the average shop does. He did a solid job on finding the problem on my 03 Dyna and doing a full service to it. Wanted to try out the new shop in Spearfish. Took my 2010 Road Glide in for an oil change. They are running a Grand Opening special $49.95 through the end of April. I can't even change my own oil for that price. And the service was really outstanding! I was in and out of there quickly. And yet they took the time to clean up any oil drips from the filter removal. A small detail, but very much appreciated!! So many shops miss that.

On a recent trip to the black hills I was stranded with fuel issues on my bike. Luke and his family went above and beyond to get me back on the road. They drove to rapid city to get parts and went as far as taking parts off his personal bike. Luke's great! On top of his game for sure. Amazing communication, called and discussed issues that popped up and reasoning behind it, and offered solutions prior to starting the work on it. Very transparent! Will for sure be using as my "Go To Spot". Thanks Luke!
