First of all, the new owners Charles and Shelby Cook are incredible people. I always try to support small, local businesses and these people have earned my trust and business, for sure!As a solo, female traveler one of my greatest concerns is finding a trustworthy and reliable service provider when my van needs repair or maintenance. In August I hit a deer, the damage was quite extensive but repairable. I had found Rocket Lube about two weeks prior and already had an appointment set up with them for other work. I had also had my oil changed and tires rotated. So, having been impressed by them already, I decided to have my vehicle towed to them to see if Charles could make the repairs. Not only did they work with me in terms of ensuring my vehicle was safe for my next big travel plan, but they helped make accommodations that helped me tremendously while the repairs were made. They went above and beyond! After leaving the area, with repairs made and also a weld repair to previous work done by another shop in a different state, I noticed my van actually performed better in the mountains than it has since I bought it in 2020.I can t recommend Queen City Rocket Lube more, both for general maintenance and for repairs. Excellent service, even better people - including their crew!

Fast service. Maybe a little pricey, but the convenience of pulling your car in, never getting out of your car and then driving away 20 minutes later is pretty nice. They also offer the option of bringing your own oil and filter if you prefer. I was very happy with the service.

Charles, Shelby and their eam are honest, reliable and hard working. They do great work and are timely and responsive. I have had my car worked on a few times now and would highly recommend Rocket Lube.

Seems to be good oil changes and you don t need an appointment. For charging a full service price I don t feel like I got that though. Out of the 3 different vehicles I ve taken here they ve never been able to fill up my tires. They also didn t have my air filter so I had to buy that separately and do it myself.

The owners of this business are extremely helpful and courteous. My son and I were on vacation and they fixed our van right away. My mom and I were driving from Spokane, WA to Harrisburg, PA When we started losing brake fluid. The brake line was slit vertically and spraying brake fluid everytime we turned or used the brakes. It was dangerous to even drive the car. We found this shop and Charles, the owner, knew what was wrong right away. He had to order part but expedited shipping and leany us a free loaner because it would take a day for the part to come in. I have never had such unbelievable service in my life. He and his wife went above and beyond to help us and it is clear you won't find a more honest mechanic. I would trust them with anything!! And the cost to fix was minimal. My daughter goes to school at Blackhills State University in Spearfish. She showed up to move in and noticed her car was leaking oil. ALL THE OIL! We had just gotten it changed the day before she left. We live 7 hours away. The feelings of frustration and helplessness was overwhelming as a mother. I called Queen City Rocket Lube and explained the situation. They got her in immediately fixed the problem! AND DIDNT CHARGE HER A DIME!!!!THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I broke down 650 miles away from home. Charles and his team got me up and running so I could get home. He stayed on the problem until it was fixed. I also went with a friend to get his oil changed and the team was so nice to him as well. Great customer service!!

They love their rules at this place--they love them so much that they want to make sure you know them before they even say a courteous hello. I've been there twice and I've never been to a business that was so much more interested in telling me what they won't do rather than what they will do. They seemed genuinely disappointed that I said I was willing to wait to get my oil changed even though they had a couple big jobs ahead of me. Once I did pull in, there was one guy who was at least friendly even though he wanted to make sure I knew that they wouldn't check my tires and wouldn't do any work on the transmission fluids. Everyone else was somewhere between rude and apathetic. Just weird. But at least there is nothing that says I have to go again.Service: Oil change

I love this place you get in and out quickly, they are very professional and kind. They can do all kinds of things not just oil. I m very pleased with my experience.

I was traveling through the area for work and needed a quick oil change. I stayed right across the road at a motel which was fortuitous. I called them in the morning, drove across the road, and they had me in/out in 20 minutes. At other times I'm sure it's longer but that was very helpful with me being on the road for work.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Charles is amazing! My daughter lives in Spearfish and goes to BHSU and I live in Texas and we're now repeat customers. He diagnosed her cars issue and saved us from a potential costlier repair. He's honest and didn't take advantage of us like other repair shops will. Highly recommend him to anyone.

READ BEFORE GOING! The guys here are nice and the service was quick, very quick, that is about all things positive I can say about Rocket Lube. I've had many oil changes and this was by far the fast one ever, I questioned the quality of the service right there. IvI' never had an oil change that took less than 10 minutes. For being a fluid changing service I also expected more in depth look through. I appreciate the washer fluids but it was a pretty steep price.

2 stars for the fact the the oil change was fast, but they took parts off my car without permission, trashed it, and then charged me extra. Now if they would have explained to me what they were doing and asked me if these alterations were okay I would have been completely fine with the process. 3 stars lost for lack of communication.

After many years of going here, it s just not that great. Don t take them anything expensive. Stripped my oil pan on one of my vehicles. I only take my beater with a heater here. My nice vehicles go to Chevy.

Honest shop. Traveling on an extended road trip & got the maintenence light. Stopped here for an oil change. They could've just taken my money, but after checking my oil they advised me that no oil change was necessary due to the synthetic oil I was using, the mileage on the previous oil change & the current mileage on the vehicle. They reset my warning light & sent me on my way. Their honesty was much appreciated.

If I could give a zero star that would be best! Took my Jeep in to have the oil changed. I had never been to a facility like this as I normally change my own oil. Sometimes you are in a rush and don't have time so it seemed to be a good place? When I first arrived the manager Curtis was holding both arms out and not being clear what side to go to when pulling into the bay. He asked why I would go that way in a snarky attitude when he had what looked like sandwich in one hand being moved around and a piss poor job of direction? Good idea to be rude to new customers... I was informed that my transfer case fluid was low and they had compatible fluid to top it off.. I asked if it was safe and OK and they ensured me it was. When that t-case fill was not on the receipt I called to ask and turns out they put fluid that is NOT at all compatible with my t-case. They argued otherwise.. What was supposed to be quick and easy turned into driving to Jeep and going back to have them drain it and refill it with the correct stuff. A $44 oil changed turned into a $75 oil change and time off work while they fix it and argue they are right. I asked for a refund on the oil change and the "manager" said no.. I explained how he was not holding up the company "appreciating business" as they say and the manager told her he could ask me to leave and wasn't even willing to fix the mistake.. After a few moments of arguing with Curtis I got them to drain it and fix it after I brought them the correct fluid. My transfer case literally has 50 miles on it and it was almost ruined and warranty I have voided due to their lack of education about vehicle.. LONG story short, IF you need someone to wash your windows or change wipers that may be ok!

Despite their bad reviews I tried them for possible servicing of our business vehicles. Had a small cargo trailer behind my Suburban. Guy came out waving his arms looking perturbed and sounding put out. He pointed to the Safeway lot next door saying I'd have to unhook my trailer, that they are not allowed inside. Not sure how a small trailer narrower and shorter than my vehicle is a problem, but it's their place and they can set the rules. And I can decide to never go back.

2nd visit was better than first as I was more informed than my 1st visit. 2nd visit they were unable to clean windows or vacuum, tire check etc due to cold weather. Services I wasn't aware that were given to me at no cost. I use my own oil and filters to reduce my cost.

They had a bit of an attitude when I tried to get out of my car; I had never gotten my oil changed this way so I didn't know I was supposed to stay in the car the whole time. Other than that, they listened when I told them I didn't need windshield wipers and did the oil change quickly.

Took less than 10 minutes to get in and out for my oil change. I was willing to pay extra just for the nascar pit stop levels of quickness and efficiency.

Fast service. They don't check your tires if you have TPS sensors on your vehicle. Otherwise, good people.

Every time I go to this place for an oil change, they have been very rude. They won't check my tires because my valves are metal. They have told me that no one else in town will check my air due to my valves, however, I found they have lied to me about that. They are rude and lazy!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Didn't put on oil filter correctly shot oil all over my engine compartment twice! Halfway cleaned it up and gave me a $8.00 discount for a carwash. I would highly recommend going anywhere but rocket lube!

They are fantastic! I thought I would leave my car while I had lunch with a friend, but my car was ready in less than 10 minutes and so I drove to lunch! They were friendly and super efficient!
