I hit a deer. Mack's hooked me up! I waited a couple weeks after receiving my car to leave this review, to make sure everything was as it should be. They did a great job!

If you're looking for a body shop in the region, YOUR SEARCH IS OVER! Bring your body work needs right here to Mack's Auto Body in Spearfish South Dakota! If I ever need a body shop again, no matter where I am at in the country, I will rent a trailer and haul it into this STELLAR shop!Fortunately, I have not had to visit a body shop since my late teens/early twenties. My experience then was when a vehicle went in to a body shop the vehicle was there at a minimum of six weeks, up to three months!Two and a half weeks ago I was coming on to an off ramp in Spearfish when a deer came flying in from the side of the roadway in the dark. The deer hit me! I thought I was going to miss the poor animal, but low and behold, the deer smacked right into the side of our beautiful King Ranch dually. Being that the deer hit us on the side and we own a dually, it completely obliterated the dually fender and the fleet side of the box. The drivers side front & rear doors were affected as well. I knew we were really in a mess when I hit the deer. I just thought about how long something like this would take to fix. In the back of my mind, I'm thinking a bare minimum of six weeks and a worse case scenario of infinity due to the present time we're living in. All I've heard about, is part shortages here, there and everywhere on anything and everything... After contacting my amazing insurance with PROGRESSIVE (Emerald member of over 15 years) My truck went in that Monday morning. I was fully covered except having rental reimbursement. Much to my surprise, they had a reliable loaner vehicle they provided my family. I was very grateful for this service as our truck is our one and only vehicle. Since Mack's Auto Body is an in network body shop with Progressive, they were able to start work on it right away. Parts were ordered and AVAILABLE with no back order problems! Every step of the way Eugene Mack would let me visibly see the progress. I was amazed of how fast things were moving along. The parts came in on time, and when I thought they might still be a little bit on shop time, they were done with my truck! They did an absolute impeccable job! The truck looks absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond. Eugene and Jeneen Mack are wonderful to work with. Eric who had helped us was amazing as well.I want to give a shout out to anybody who worked my truck and let you know, your work is absolutely beautiful. My truck went from damaged to pristine in less than two and a half weeks...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mack's Auto Body. I really hope I won't need their astounding service again but if I do, I know my first stop.Thank you to all the crew at Mack's Auto Body.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Very nice people here. Excellent work and they took the extra mile to clean inside also. Impressive!.would recommend them. My cherokee has not looked this good for a long time.

They haven't worked on my vehicle yet (in a couple of weeks) but the customer service is outstanding! Very very nice people. I've seen their work & have recommended people to Mack's for years. They do wonderful work.

They always do great work and had my car done even quicker than I expected.So since posting I've noticed a few things wrong and stopped in to tell them about it. There was nothing major wrong. The edge protector on the doors wasn't replaced, the blinker on the damaged side blinks really fast but no bulbs are out it's just annoying. The worst thing is there is a hole or something in the small hose for the windshield washer so it won't spray to wash the window which really sucks when I have to pull over to clean my windshield so I can see. I told them about it months ago and they were supposed to call me to fix it and I haven't heard anything.

I definitely enjoyed doing business with Eugene and Jeneen at Mack's auto body shop. We ran our insurance claim right through with them with AAA and it was seamless. They were always respectful and I could tell they took customer service seriously. I would've rated them a 5/5 because it was 5/5 work, but it took a little too long. I had just finished my business with them and Jeneen was telling me they were overwhelmed with deer collisions in the latter part of November and early December which I totally understand. I would recommend this business to anyone and especially if you need to run your car through insurance or if you need other services done in Spearfish. They were extremely professional, and I never had an unpleasant experience with them over the last couple of months.

After 5 years I am changing my review. These clowns only cheated me and lied they used body filler on my car when the estimate was for complete repair. They then painted over it and 5 years later the damage has popped back through the paint and is cracking away my whole rear quarter panel. I'd recommend Mack's for any auto body or repair you may have. I was extremely pleased with the work they did on my 2025 Hyundai Accent.

You want straight up honesty? This is the place to go!! They present options that are best for you, let you decide. Don't push what's best for them, well, unless it's satisfied customers!!
