After driving from out of town for brake pads, I went to install only to find they are wrong ones, receipt showed correct part #, was given wrong ones. Another 45 mile drive and time to do so, showed the "employee" receipt and his response was 'oh'. Got right box tossed on the counter & I quote "there". No apology, no anything but a smug response. Had issues with this place in past but after today...never again

I understand you install car batteries, Caleb, but when I'm the only customer in the store besides the gentleman buying a battery, maybe you should prioritize scanning my one item and checking me out over the battery install. It took less than a minute to do, after I had been standing at the register for 20 minutes waiting.

Rare excellence! I avoided Saturday WalMart expecting to pay more by going to Auto Zone. Still worth it to avoid the chaos. I brought my old battery in for the trade in. The employee behind the counter did some checking and informed me my old battery was still under warranty. They traded me out a new battery and I paid nothing. They could have sold me a new one but didn't. Cheers to these guys!!

Love coming here, I come in so often (I m a mobile mechanic) they all know me on a first name basis. They always have what I need and when they don t, they always send me the right direction to get what I need!! Don t waste your time going to the competition make this place your first stop for sure!!!!

Had a great experience here. Had a roadside emergency and this place was the ONLY place that had the part I needed and even price matched with RockAuto, which was damn cool.And the guy Tommy who works here is kinda easy on the eyes ;)

Customer service was horrible!! Three employees were too busy talking amongst themselves to be bothered to acknowledge us or help for that matter. When asked where an item was we were told an isle (which was wrong)and ignored. Car Quest is the place we will be going from now on..

Worst customer service experience of my life, I'd been waiting unattended for 10 minutes to be greeted by complete unawareness of my presence while the single attendant laughed at another customer and told them he had no idea what was wrong, this continued with belittling of my repair knowledge and a suggestion to spend $80 on a solution that costed $15, I actually asked him "I'm on a tight schedule can I just buy this" and he continued to tell me how I had no idea what I was doing without the "upgrade", I have never left a bad review let alone walked away from a transaction but 6 hours later I can't think about autozone without feeling completely infuriated. Obviously I won't be returning anytime soon

Went in intending to get and engine light diagnosed and wasn t acknowledged by any of the three men working behind the counter. Two were fiddling with papers and one was helping the one and only other customer in the store. I felt invisible. Eye contact wasn t even established in the four minutes I was there standing by the front counter, very clearly looking for assistance. Walked out without a word. Disappointing. Oreileys treats much better

Very impressed with the staff at this auto zone location in Spearfish, SD. After working on our vehicle in their parking lot for 30min or so while my wife and dogs waited in the heat, one of the employees came out to help assist me. Without his help, I m not sure I could have got the job done myself, and definitely not within an hours time. Couldn t be happier with the service here!

Our radiator hose blew and we were stranded, jay at this store not only helped us get what we needed but also delivered it to us after he was off of work because we couldn t drive there. Never have I had excellent customer service like this before! Thank you so much!

Micah was SPECTACULAR!! They had everything we needed (except a bolt) We were traveling and our Truck broke down. He was so helpful in getting us back on the road. We were in the parking lot trying to get going again.He came out to us and said they were closing and wanted to make sure we didn't need anything else. He even offered after they closed to go home and get his tools if we needed to use them. This is an excellent expression of customer service. And a great store.

Extremely disappointed in the service. My wife went to get a serpentineine belt for our car, she was given the power steering belt instead. The next day she returned and explained the situation. The belt was replaced with another belt and she was assured it was the correct part. She returned to our disabled vehicle and we discovered that once again she was given the wrong belt, ( it was a serpentine belt however not for our vehicle). I then returned to the store again and explained to the employee that we had been given the wrong part 2 times. His reply was that we obviously had not spoken to him or it would have been right. I told him I wasnt sure who my wife had spoken to but 2 times getting the wrong part was unacceptable. The employee responded "well it is what it is". The other employee asked what type of vehicle I needed a belt for, my reponse was I know what the part number is and gave it to him. He left to get the part and I spent majority of my gift card balance on a few random items and left the card on the counter with the $3-$4 balance remaining. I then left after telling the employee I wont be back again. I have driven over 120 miles back and forth to my disabled vehicle and wasted several hours of time and the service I got; " It is what it is". I will not be returning to a business that treats its customers in such a manner. It is their job to get you what you need, I should not have to go ahead of time to get the part number for them as I did the last time. They obviously do not care about their reputation or the money I have spent over the years.

Friendly, fast and extremely helpful. Diagnosed our check engine light free and much to our relief found out it was only a temp sensor that was going bad. What a relief! Dalton was super professional and great to work with. Had the part on hand at a affordable cost. Thanks guys!

Friendly staff. Helped me change out the batteries in my key fobs because I didn't have a small flat head along. Nice service since I was in the middle of 18 hour road trip.

My mom and i went to auto zone in spearfish sd to get help on our head light on my moms van. She went in and the guy that was at the counter said to go outside and that he would be out to help us. We waited for about 10 to 15 minutes for him to come out to help us. He did come out and got into his carand wouldn't even look at us to help. He just looked the other way got into his car and left. We will never go back.

These folks are terrific! Needed a battery for my Tundra and they didn't have it. However, the battery delivery truck had left about 15 minutes before i arrived. They called his cell, asked if he had the right battery on the truck (he did), and he brought it back. By the time I got the old one out, he was there!That's "above and beyond" service!

I ordered a part in store and they took down my number and said the part would be in the next day. I didn't get a call back the next day and called them and they've never heard of me. And then, they waste a good chunk of my time trying to determine who dropped the ball before telling me that they were unable to order the part. I will not be shopping there again.

I shop here all the time. The employees are very friendly and helpful. They are always willing to go above and beyond. It makes it more convenient to work on a vehicle when the parts store has late and evening hours too.
